Will you draw for me?
No. Sorry, but that's pretty much just the straight answer for 99% of people. The only things that motivate me to draw are thirst and genuine inspiration. Generosity only helps sometimes. I'm not that nice.
Why don't you take commissions?
I've tried before, believe me. It hasn't worked out for me very well in the past because I don't do well with obligations. They stress me out and the money isn't worth the trouble it brings.
How do I get art from you, then?
There's no easy answer to this. I know that people want access to my work, but most of the time I just don't have any desire to draw for anyone but myself. Being my friend is a prerequisite, I guess, but being my friend doesn't always mean I'll draw for you, and if I don't draw for you then it doesn't mean we aren't friends, either. (Incidentally, if you only want to be my friend for the possibility of getting free art, just stop right there. I've already seen quite a few people try, and it's usually very obvious what they want.) I'm sorry to be selfish, but please don't push this topic any further with me, okay? Drawing demands my personal time and effort, and I think it's fair for me to choose how I spend those things. Yes, I know there's a couple folks on the chat who get a lot of art from me, but those people are, y'know, my really good buddies. Please don't harass them or pester them for tips on how to get art from me, either.
What's the best way to get to know you?
I know I'm kind of unapproachable, and I've had people say I'm intimidating (before they get to know me, at least). I'm also not great at initiating conversation. That doesn't mean we can't be friends, though! Instead of just the usual 'hi, how are you', et cetera, maybe see if we have any common interests outside of vore if you want to get my attention. Just talking about vore doesn't tend to go anywhere significant since it's the theme of this whole site, and I like my friendships to extend beyond just 'having the same fetish'. I'm a pretty huge nerd, so talking about anime or video games or things along those lines is a good starting point with me. I'm usually focused on one fandom or another at any given time, too, so if you happen to share the interest and talk to me about my current favorite then I'll probably be really happy. :>
Can I talk to you outside of Eka's?
Probably not. I do have other methods of contact, naturally, but I'm not comfortable giving them out to anyone I don't explicitly trust. Please don't ask for my email, Discord, Skype, or anything else. I'll share them at my own discretion.
What's your relationship with Vice/Sycniele?
We're roomies! They're my best friend. People get us confused a lot because I draw all their character art. Their alts will be tagged with their alt list, The_Mortal_Coil, whereas mine will be tagged with Ceru and redirect to this page.
Why do you like (insert kink here)?
Fuck if I know, my dude. I'm perpetually thirsty, I like some odd shit, and I legitimately can't come up with a viable explanation for why I think all of it is hot. What's really important is whether you also think it's hot.
Why'd you ditch Cerulesta (the character)?
Long story short, she's just not as fun as her sister. Citrine was originally just a fairly distant AU of Ceru, but eventually she broke away enough to become a completely separate individual; to explain the physical resemblance, I figured they could be twins, and their story kind of grew from there. The more I focused on Citrine, though, the more I realized that she was more psychologically interesting to write for, as well as more in line with my current preferences and desires (since I really like willing/semi-willing prey these days). Ceru does still exist, and she's a crucial part of Citrine's backstory, but I probably won't be using her much for scenes or art in the foreseeable future. My apologies to those who liked her better! As a player, note that I do still prefer the moniker Ceru despite changing my main OC.
How do I get a scene with you?
I regret to say it, but I don't have a great answer for this question, either. If you've played with me in the past and/or we're friends, then you can just hit me up and we'll likely get around to it sometime soon. If neither of those things apply, though... well, I overwhelmingly prefer to play with my existing partners, so it takes something kind of special for me to consider expanding outside that circle. It isn't impossible for strangers to play with me, but I'll be honest-- delving into the characters' feelings, thoughts, and personalities is essentially a requirement if you want to keep my interest. While it might sound pretentious, I swear I am being completely sincere when I say that scenes lacking in the emotion department have zero appeal for me. If you enjoy exploring emotions and character interaction and our preferences match up, then feel free to approach me and maybe we can work something out if I like your character. I can never promise, though. Even if I say yes, I am notoriously unreliable and can't guarantee I'll be up for starting the scene on a whim, or even in the near future... if I get around to it at all. I'm sorry that it's like that. My drive to roleplay is very mood-based and often impulsive, and the spark for it does not hit me terribly often these days. I promise that it is nothing personal. :<
