tl;dr: big nasty dragon who likes intimidating and victimizing those weaker than himself. the catch is that he doesn't want to be a power-hungry douchebag; the arts of brutal combat and murder were taught to him by his former Trainer, Rouand, who eventually asked him to go farther than he was willing to tolerate.

he was subsequently released and has since tried to set himself on the straight and narrow, but, well... it isn't that easy to shake old habits. no matter how much he wants to try and be a decent person, his impulses usually steer him wrong, and he usually just ends up looking like a jerk. ... okay, scratch that, he is a jerk. but hey, he's trying to get better, really! he just... kinda sucks at it still.
