ETA ::Profile (Kokushibou)

Kokushibou is a fancharacter from the Demon Slayer / Kimetsu no Yaiba universe. This is simply my interpretation of him, and while I intend to respect canon as much as possible, some deviations from it are inevitable. Please bear with my attempts to do him justice!

If you want to avoid spoilers for the manga but would still like to interact with this character, caution is advised. If you let me know in advance, I will try to keep spoiler content to an absolute minimum. Still, consider yourself warned.

tl;dr: upper moon one; in simpler terms, the strongest demon in existence short of Muzan Kibutsuji himself. he is cold, stoic, and detached from empathy, though it's not like being a demon really allows for much empathy considering that demons, y'know. eat people. a quiet and reserved sort, he is terrifying more through his actions than his words, since he definitely doesn't fuck around much when it comes to getting things done.

that said, concealed beneath his blunt and dispassionate exterior lies a more complicated person than his stilted speech will likely ever suggest. for all his competence, Koku overflows with doubt, jealousy, and self-hatred, burdens borne of centuries past that he's never truly been able to shed. it's probably for the best that such things don't often surface, though. to be the one who makes him lose his composure... well, let's just say that it isn't exactly an enviable fate.

then again, encountering him at all isn't exactly an enviable fate, since it's unlikely you'll survive unless you have some downright ludicrous abilities or are very quick with your wits... so maybe it's worth the gamble of trying to get under his skin? (other than in, uh. the literal sense.) it's been a long time since anyone tried to talk to him like a human being, after all.
