Sardonyx

★ A few guidelines before approaching me:

Sardonyx is a fancharacter from the world of Steven Universe. She mostly exists to interact with characters that hail from that world; while she is open for play with other characters as well, I may be finicky about selecting them. Please don't pressure me or get upset if I reject you! I promise that I mean no offense.

I do not like receiving IC approaches via PM. If you greet me in-character, I will respond out of character. I only want to interact IC with people that I've agreed to roleplay with, and IC approaches kind of force my hand, which makes me uncomfortable. Sorry! (If I'm hanging out in the Vore Room, though, you're welcome to have your character say hello!)

I do not like being referred to as "you" in OOC conversation. I am not actually Sardonyx, sadly! I am a person behind a computer screen, and I only "become" my character when the scene begins. Talking to me straight off as though I'm a giant lady who wants to eat you in real life is a little disconcerting, at least for me personally!

If I am set to DND, do not bother me-- period. I am either preoccupied with another scene, away from my computer, or disinterested in talking to new people. Unless I tell you that it's okay to message me, don't. I'll ignore you if you ignore my sign.

This profile contains spoilers for the show. Sardonyx's appearance could probably be considered a bit of a spoiler itself, but, well... there isn't really any way for me to avoid showing her in a profile that's all about her, is there?

Those two being inseparably glued together to form yours truly... you could say that it's a rather sticky situation, ooohohohoho! So, in their absence, it appears that you'll be enjoying my company instead of theirs for a while!

But never fear, my darlings. I'm sure you'll all be as delighted with my presence as I am with yours! After all, I'm certainly happy to be here; it isn't often that I get to enjoy so much time in the spotlight! ★ Miscellaneous Info.

♦ While I do love both of them, I'm not really interested in playing Garnet or Pearl on this character. Considering how long she's been stuck in this form, Sardonyx's unique personality has likely 'overridden' the personalities of the Gems that comprise her, causing her to think of herself as more than a temporary combination of their aspects. In other words, she considers herself an individual... one that probably wouldn't want to unfuse, even if she could. (Don't worry, I'm sure that Garnet and Pearl are still in there somewhere!)

♦ I'm totally okay with shorter scenes, but I especially love longer ones with lots of character interaction and emotional depth to them. I like to write a lot, enough that RPs with me sometimes take multiple sessions to complete, even if they're just one-offs! In vore-related scenarios, I delight in getting into the characters' heads and exploring how they would react to their circumstances on a psychological level. (If delving deeper into those aspects of vore sounds intriguing to you, let me know when you approach me! If not, no worries; we can still play without the excess of complicated, conflicting feels. It's just incredibly fun for me to include them in detail, and I always look forward to those kinds of scenes.)

♦ I really don't like turnabout/role-reversal. Sardonyx is much larger than most characters, and even if she did find someone even bigger than she is, I'm not interested in seeing her placed in peril unless I know she'll survive-- and I'm definitely not interested in seeing her get eaten. Please, don't try anything like that. I'll be extremely irritated.

♦ For some scenes, playing Sardonyx in a setting/universe other than her canon one may be preferable. For example, consider a world where the Gem War never happened, meaning that all the Gems stayed on Homeworld and Sardonyx was able to freely display her talents, eventually becoming a stage performer of superstar-like fame. I love the idea of her actually being the sort of idol she presents herself as! She could fill a similar role on Earth for interactions with humans as well, and other concepts are definitely possible (though I'd rather not play her as a human; I like her extra arms and eyes too much)! Let me know if you have something cool in mind.

♦ As a player, I'm genuinely okay with (and legitimately enjoy) rougher scenes, gore, digestion, death, and pretty much anything along those lines. The reason Sar doesn't tend to be used for those kinds of things is because it would be out of character for her. Still, if you want her to do something gruesome to your character, it's possible! I just have to mandate that the circumstances make sense. In other words, you have to make her incredibly mad.

♦ On that note, I really value playing fancharacters as they are portrayed in canon. A few liberties will obviously be taken for the sake of incorporating fetish material, but other than that, I want to play Sardonyx as everyone knows her. If you believe I am playing her totally wrong, please, tell me! I may not notice my own error unless someone informs me of it.

♦ For the record, um, Ceru did this... you guys need to quit enabling me to make more rocks, god dammit. And yeah, all the gratuitous fanart above was drawn by me (as well as the profile picture, oops). Please don't take it or redistribute it to other sites, thank you!
