tl;dr (ish): a tortured spirit with severe abandonment issues. after being left to die in his Pokéball by a trainer long gone, he was reborn as a ghost and eventually fell under the care of Giuseppe. yet the burdens he brought proved too exhausting and overbearing for his new trainer to cope with-- and so Giuseppe gave him away, something that Tzar could only perceive as a second betrayal. he'd already been burned once before, after all; what else could it mean, when his Trainer didn't want him anymore? his despair and rage at being 'tossed aside again' triggered his evolution, transforming him into a terrifying, unruly creature, entirely controlled by bitterness and fear.

Trainer_Nukey is his current owner, and while she is doing her best to be patient with him, his deep-seated trauma makes life very difficult for her. a paranoid, panicky sort, Tzar demands constant attention and validation, lest he immediately succumb to his anxiety and assume the worst a third time over. the slightest implication that he's unwanted triggers explosive emotional reactions in him, and those who fail to cautiously watch their words around him often end up meeting a most unenviable end as a result. he just can't help himself. the thought of being alone drives him mad, and in his desperation to protect himself from that fate, he scarcely realizes how much of a monster it's made him.
