In the distant past, a Kabutops named Vis lived a content life alongside his beloved. Thousands of years hence, the fossils that contained their remnants were found together; Vis was intact enough to be resurrected from his remains, but his spouse was less fortunate. Lost and alone in an unfamiliar era, he searched for a means to revive his lover, eventually turning to the Pokemafia for finances and guidance in exchange for his services. Unfortunately, his sanity and patience had their limits. After years of fruitlessly struggling to find her missing piece, Vis decided that his only option was to substitute the next best thing.

While the revival was technically successful, Vis was no scientist, and his knowledge of modern technology was minimal at best. Simply put, having an inverted head could hardly classify as a success for his poor, disoriented spouse, whose every waking moment had suddenly become torture. Nevertheless, even after his unforgivable failure, Vis resolved to stay by her side and love her as he always had. Maybe, despite everything, they could still piece together the shattered remnants of their bygone happiness.

Then, one day, he disappeared.

Since Vis had not fully repaid his debt to the mafia, in his absence, the responsibility fell to his lover. Knowing she had nowhere left to go, however, the Don granted her a small courtesy by permitting her to continue living at headquarters, where she was at least familiar to those around her. Trivial things that others took for granted constantly impeded her, unfortunately, which limited her means of contributing... but as a nightmarish creature full of sharp teeth and claws, she still proved quite capable of putting an end to those whom the mafia had condemned to death. Therein did she find her purpose-- a purpose many would shy away from, but she never really minded it much.

"I'll be back soon, dearest." --such were the last words Vis ever spoke to her, and her sentimental nature eventually led her to prefer that term in lieu of a proper moniker. Strangely, a sweet and endearing 'name' like that is a better reflection of her than one might expect from an executioner; outside of work, Dearest is actually quite amiable, acting the part of a monster only when necessary. Speaking and breathing are both difficult for her, making patience a prerequisite for any who might wish to know her better, but she yearns for companionship as much as anyone. To that effect, she doesn't like to let her emotions inhibit her. Years of sorrow and suffering have rendered her nearly numb to her own struggles; she is loathe to bemoan them at this point, having grown exhausted of her own inadequacy and the pity heaped upon her by her peers. Her discomfort is a constant, and she has long since accepted that reality. If anything, Dearest wants to be less dependent on those around her, to be able to function despite her deficiencies. To not be such a burden. To live the closest thing she can to a happy life, even after losing everything she'd ever known.

In that bygone age, however, the crippled and pitiful creature that Dearest would eventually become does not yet exist. Back then, she was known as one thing and one thing only: a monster. A terrifying, vicious, bloodthirsty beast of the depths who showed no mercy to those who dared trespass within her chosen territory. Before her fateful meeting with Vis, she was an undefeated, untouchable apex predator... and even after dueling him to a standstill, that fact remained true throughout all of her life during prehistory. Back then, only her beloved was permitted to call her 'Dearest'. When introducing herself to anyone else, she instead preferred her real name, Lotus-- though few were privileged to know it, since even surviving a first encounter with her was a feat in and of itself.

( Even though this form of the character exists only in the past, I am still willing to play her upon request. She is admittedly much more suited for vore than her present-day self. )

Being PredBeing Prey	Always/Love	+ --	Never/Dislike	Being predatory is still in Dearest's nature... she just has a few issues with it these days, for reasons that are probably obvious. [ Heavy pred lean, though vore itself is not a necessity on this character. ]
Soft Vore	Always/Love	+ --	Never/Dislike	While this is the player's preference, Dearest herself is nearly incapable of it thanks to her deformity. It is still plausible for characters much smaller than her, but not without causing her a lot of pain.
