tl;dr: extremely shy and reclusive little shadow creature who prefers to observe others at a safe distance, mainly because he can't often summon the nerve to speak to them. while he is technically considered a mythical Pokémon due to his unique abilities and incredible elusiveness (to the point that his existence itself is a matter of debate), he doesn't fancy himself a 'beast of legend' at all, harboring far too much self-doubt to believe that he deserves such a label.
while Juzo may not think he's anything awe-inspiring, he's fascinated by those who are, and adores admiring strong or impressive people from the shadows. this often results in him growing to idolize individuals who have never even met him, which can be more than a little bit awkward if he's discovered. while usually inclined to flee when confronted, Juzo does sometimes get... attached to his objects of fascination. he may envy them for a variety of traits he wishes he possessed: bravery, confidence, and charm, to name a few, though the list is quite extensive. he imagines how nice it would feel to be a person like that. to be just like you.
of course, that can't happen. it's okay, though. there are other ways he can get close.
