Nine hundred years ago, Terastas became an immortal. There are conflicting stories as to why, but they both cite the a bitter struggle between a fallen angel and a virtuous demon fighting for the sanctity of Heaven. Some say he unwittingly became the only soul to know the location of a weapon that could have turned the tide of war. Others identify him as a revisionist, who the feuding immortals feared could reshape the hierarchy of Heaven if he were ever permitted to speak with the dead. Either way, Terastas was made immortal for reasons he never knew.

The angel and demon later met on the field of battle and fought for the vacancy hand to hand. No one remembers (or cares) who won, because the position they had fought so hard to acquire was nullified during the Revision -- the remodeling of the afterlife from top to bottom. Everything to show for their conflict is gone. Everything but the memory. . . And Terastas.

Being an immortal, Terastas found his greatest value to be on the battlefield and has served in countless military campaigns, from the legions of Genghis Khan to his current (and most cherished) service in the D.A.M.I. (Defense Against Macrofur Invasion). As such, he has earned the nickname "Terry the Terror."

If you've heard either his true name or that nickname before, you've probably heard that he's a ten foot monster that bites people's heads off and that his fur has been stained red with permanent blood stains, but this is not the case. He's actually 5'8, weighs less than 100 lbs., and has a fairly young-looking face. Young because he was only 25 when he was cursed, but that was 953 years ago. And what you've probably noticed already: his fur is blue, which surprisingly is never mentioned in any of his legends.

Of course, in terms of his immortality, the blue fur is just the chip off the iceberg in terms of what makes him unique. Terastas has been immortal for fifty years short of a millennium, and since then his body has shifted and distorted to reflect his new immortal life. Because sex is meant to ensure that life continues after the body has died, immortals do not need sex and as such, Terastas has become sterile. He no longer needs to eat, so his digestive system has since faded and melded into his pelt, and since he no longer eats, he no longer excretes; his genitals are barely even a memory. His heart stopped beating, his blood hardened, and one by one all but the contents of his skull softened and melded into his fur. All he has left to show for internal anatomy is an inch long esophagus that leads into an empty chest cavity - he is all but a walking talking taxidermy victim (he resents being called a "fursuit" or a "plushy," since he does still have flesh and fur, but he understands the comparison and will forgive and forget anyone that refers to him as such).

His chest cavity hallows out from his crotch to the bottom of his neck, easily capable of accommodating anyone three feet or under and, assuming his occupant assumes the fetal position, not even showing the slightest indent on the outside. Someone close to his own size could just as well fit inside and only appear on the outside as a little extra weight. The downside, of course, is that since he has no internal anatomy of any kind whatsoever, his "occupants" can only leave the way they came (he's considering having a zipper placed on his back, but is weary as that would only suffice to encourage the fursuit misconception).

He's done a lot of soul searching in recent years and has come to enjoy giving children and small animals a temporary home in his cavity as a result of his now softer outlook on life, but because of his immortality, he has a very difficult time forming emotional bonds with any living things (since he knows he will live to see the day they die no matter what). He's opened up some now that he is on a first-name basis with Kiria, but he still only has one relationship that is somewhat consistent and stable, that being with Deva, his long-time partner in the D.A.M.I.

Terastas is my default alter-ego, and since my connection speed tends to lag behind in the more active chats, my new policy is that this is the only username I will ever use in the Vore Room or Out-Of-Chat-World. If you want to RP with one of my characters, however, just PM me and if I'm interested (I'm not always perky enough to play Deva mind you) and have the time to do so, I'll gladly relocate to the IC.
