FOREWORD: Rena's powers are NOT magical in origin, nor are they technological.

Rena Paola is a yuki-onna who prefers humans or demi-humans (to a degree). She is the younger sister of Roman_Paola. Despite her species' reputation, she is highly sensitive to death-related things and prefers to see her partners around again. Recently, she's also been having recurring digestion nightmares after a certain incident with the House_of_Maeve as well, only furthering her fear of death and killing by digestion.

What you see in the picture (left one) is what she wears when she's actively looking to be noticed, which isn't as often as one would think. Normally, she settles for a black "Slide to Unlock" t-shirt, jean pants and black sneakers, as she isn't too big on fashion unlike most girls. Despite these tomboyish dressing habits, she much prefers traditional "girly" attire for more formal settings, such as long, flowing dresses.

At first glance, Rena is like a combination of Kallen Kouzuki (Code Geass), Mizore Shirayuki (Rosario + Vampire) and Ruby Toujo (also RosaVamp). Hot blooded with ice powers and a slight lean towards masochism. But when you get to know her, she's a bit more complicated than that.

Yes, she can get loud, but it's mostly reserved for when she's speaking out against something she doesn't like. In normal conversation, she tends to be the second or third quietest woman in the room. She also does her best to be polite (a la Kallen's cover personality), but these manners may slip when she's irritated. Be warned that it takes a lot for Rena to get depressed, but she often dives headlong into it, often spanning days. However, make a move against her, and she WILL bring the hammer down on you. Saying she reacts negatively to aggressions against her tends to be an understatement, even if they don't seem like aggressions sometimes. Mess with her without much warning or meddle with important possessions or people, and she will do everything in her power to bring you to your knees and then some. Gamblers be warned, however: she has trouble mentally separating normal games from casino games, so if she's playing to win, the house advantage instantly evaporates, no matter what jail time she has to serve. Best keep that in mind now and try to make it as fun for both of you as possible, or else things are due to get very ugly.

As far as her powers go, Rena is quite powerful as a snow woman. She can make ice constructs provided it isn't too hot, has an immunity to the cold and a resistance to heat. Her ice constructs can be almost anything she can think of provided she isn't too spent off of something else, going so far as to be able to generate ice clones of herself or other people that look exactly like them, and are quite sentient. One might have trouble finding Rena in a crowd, especially if you can pick out three or four of her in said crowd... let alone the crowd being comprised entirely of her. She's also notably warmer to the touch than you would expect, perhaps in thanks to growing up in Florida and being born to a human family.

Life before the Nexus, even by its standards, was pretty interesting for Rena. Her closest friends weren't exactly the most normal of them all, and she had her own encounters with hostile entities. Nowadays, she wonders if she'll live to see the next day with every woman she enters.

To REALLY win her over, let her get to know you. She's a naturally curious soul, as well as helpful when she can be. Also, complement her when you get a chance; she also has a high degree of modesty, combined with easily dented self-esteem. On a side note, you can appeal to her otaku side by gifting her anime figurines, models (mecha-based ones in particular) and cool video games.

About pronouncing her name... it's "Reh-nuh", not "Ree-nah".
