Scarlet and her twin sister Monsoon where born 26th June 1995 into a loving family, the twins being the only children thier parents had. Dispite being sharks Scarlet and Monsoon would be raised above water on land unlike their parents, however this would bring it's own problems.

Namely the fact that Scarlet has a genetic disorder that has been running in the family for a long time, however it normally skips a generation. But to Monsoon's luck and Scarlet's bad luck she was the only one to get it. What it means unlike her sister, Scarlet can't be without or not in water for too long, her body would dehydrate and it could lead to lethal result.

Scarlet go around 6 hours without or not being in water before she would start to feel it, 10 before it starts to get serious and finally 14 before it moves to be life threatning. As a result their parents where kind of forced to buy a property near some kind body of water, it being the sea. But apart from that Scarlet would grow up like a normal child, at least or a shark.

Being taught how to hunt, track, smell blood, how to use her speed and power, and so on. Of course this meant some of the locals would end in her small gut but they help the shark girl learn. This would however also have an effect on thier schooling and more specifically making friends there. It came to no surprise that making friends would be hard on account of being a shark but both Scarlet and Monsoon wouldn't give up.

They were rewarded with some friends, while not a whole pool of friends like on facebook, the friends scarlet made would be dear to heart. Even if she would have to eat one or two of them to surive, she was positive they would understand. Of course she would ask them in advance as she has to give her firends an advantage over others. Fast forward a few years to where Scarlet is 20, scarlet herself won't go into details about what happened but the end result would be a fight between Sisters and parents, and te sisters being kicked out.

It was hard at first but eventually with the pair getting jobs of thier own, Scarlet a lifegaurd and Monsoon hers, the sister would not too long after get their own places to live. Scarlet managing to save up enough to get a specially desgined house though a small one, it was still hers. But thankfully at somepoint after their 22nd birthday the two sisters would start talking to thier parents, while not everything is forgiven. They are at least talking to one another, and that is Scarlet's story so far.
