Loves to pounce and snuggle anyone but is specially fond of other ponies of all kinds if one approaches her she'd do just about anything.
Actually there's two of her, she's identical twins who tend to not hang out together due to loving to spend more time with others than each other.

Merry is now a shiny pony thanks to the work of
Azure_Shade and
Shiny_Pony_Legion she has a bit of a crush on shining equestria's Twilight Sparkle though as she was the one to give her the smooch and nomming that shinyfied her.

Has recently made friends with
Lola_Loveheart after an accident and a meeting where the poor pony was frightened nad ran into a tree after a bit of a talk merry took her flying and has promised to help her build her confidence and courage. And as time went by her feelings deepened and she has found she's come to love this far to cutie pie of a pony. She now is bound to her heart and soul and loves every moment of it.
Update now she's on a long term trip with Lola to help find out the truth about a message and a dream her soulmates become troubled by and has made a vow that no matter what's in their way she'll help her figure it out. Once they reached the center of the Everfree forest the duo flew up into the clouds above a huge temple that was seemingly abandoned within the core of the forest, Merry was left helpless as Lola found her tiara which held her true power and her true form as a princess which temporarily blocked off their link with each other.
After seeing her soulmate being possessed by the dark creature showdun she fought to reach her finally with the help of a pained instruction from Lola she found the golden sword of truth within the temple and taking it cut Showdun down freeing Lola and driving the creature back for the time being.
Once she touched down she was told aobut the fall of the kingdom and charged with using her love and care for Lola to help her make it through her newly discovered memories as painful as they would be as well as the transition into her true power. A task that Merry while feeling a bit worried that she won't be enough is more than happy to take on for the sake of her angel.
Now she's flying her home and starting on the road to recovery and to the future she hopes for for the two of them.
A week has gone by for the two lovers and after much talking, cuddling, kissing and general fluffiness between the two things seemed to be looking up for them until one fateful morning Merry made a run to the store to get something special for her angel for breakfast but unfortunately for her she made the mistake of approaching a seemingly injured pony only to get jumped by a tricky shiny pony who smooched the unsuspecting merry and transformed her leaving her helpless for hours in recovery before she managed to pull herself together and arrive home
Amidst a storm of emotions the two found themselves still drawn to each others love and comfort as with lola's help Merry had started to recover from her own depression only to get the shock of her lifetime as Lola kissed her her angel willingly turning herself into a shiny like she had become so the two could remain together truly and completely without worry.
She now knows beyond any possible shadow of a doubt just what Lola means to her and just how deep lola's love for her runs and has vowed that shiny or not she'd give her angel the wedding of a lifetime and love her till the end of time itself.
A few days after their renewed promise to remain together no matter what Merry met a friend of her sisters while picking berries
Faded_Prophecy finally meeting the unicorn her sister had told her so much about, leading her home to try and help her talk out something that was bugging her she introduced her to Lola only to learn that the two knew eachother before from the fall of the Everfree kingdom.
She now looks at Fade as a friend first, and a advisor and protector second. And now shares a link with her mind as well though its not quite as powerful as the bond she holds with Lola
Merry: *glomps Lola* I dare you to take her from me :p

The sisters have no mother due to an incident in their own version of Equestria their mother had a crush on Princess Luna and tried several times to act on it finally after nearly a month of non stop attention and pestering the alicorn princess un birthed the pegasus mother threatening to 'if you love me so much I'll keep ya in there and you'll never see your kids again.'
It went back and forth for a week before she was released for two more years finally the allure of being helpless and bound to her lifelong crush forever more was too much and she gave herself over to the princess and now resides permanently foal aged but adult in mind within the princess womb.
