This character brought into being through A_Divine_Disaster.

"I may be blind, but I see more than your eyes alone can show you....."

There are rumors of an odd pony wandering in the wilds, sightings of a blue unicorn with blind, green eyes..... Always pacing, always frantically moving about, as if afraid to stop. It is said that she's been consumed by madness..... But nopony knows, nopony has been brave enough to approach the strange, muttering unicorn..... Not even on the one occasion she was seen to sit down and burst into tears, seemingly for no reason.

Who is she? What is the significance of her cutie mark, three eyes, with irises of different colors, arranged in a triangle? Odd cutie mark for a blind pony..... And what could possibly have her so distressed? Curiously, she seems to perfectly avoid all manner of dangerous creatures, almost as if she knows when and where they will appear...... And despite being blind, she has survived alone in the wilderness for a while now.

Fade has made a couple friends now.... One even was kind enough to heal the tear in one of her ears. She's been able to focus on the present just a bit more reliably now, but that's more than enough.... She's no longer terrified that she's going mad, she *knows* that past the time issues, she's sane.... She just needs to figure out how to break free of them now. Needless to say, she looks a bit less crazed than before.... And she's worked on cleaning herself up, as much as she can.


Though she's not sure whether the pegasus knows it or not, Luna_May has been instrumental in Fade's growing appearance of sanity, and improved emotional state. The simple act of friendship can seem, well.... Magical, can't it?

The truth of Fade's past has come to light. In the past, she was the adviser to the rulers of a kingdom that once stood in the Everfree forest, and, during its fall, she fled under the Queen's orders, carrying the Princess, Lola_Loveheart, to safety. However, the two were unfortunately separated when Fade had to lead a pack of timberwolves away from the Princess, opening the way for her to make a normal life in Ponyville... And condemning Fade, then known as Perfect Omen, to the life she has now.

But Fade was reunited with princess Lola, and now shares a mental link with both Lola, and Lola's mate, Merry_May. Lola has appointed Fade to be her adviser, though Fade isn't sure she's up to the task.... As she'd said to Lola, she thinks she's, "Not even half the unicorn I used to be."
