Tampering with these building blocks Helen can destabilize them to gain access to radioactive properties to the point of creating borderline unavoidable atom bombs, splitting an atom on the tip of someone’s nose.
She can also eat someone at the atomic level, one atom at a time as they slowly disappear, or she can shrink others to the size of a pin, even a humming bird able to become a predator.

Hummingbirds are New World birds that constitute the family Trochilidae. They are among the smallest of birds, most species measuring in the 7.5–13 cm (3–5 in) range.
In this regard, Helen is an amazon compared to other humming birds. They are known as hummingbirds because of the humming sound created by their beating wings which flap at high frequencies audible to humans. They hover in mid-air at rapid wing-flapping rates, typically around 50 times per second, allowing them also to fly at speeds exceeding 15 m/s (54 km/h; 34 mph), backwards.
Hummingbirds have the highest metabolism of any homeothermic animal. To conserve energy when food is scarce, and nightly when not foraging, they go into torpor, a state similar to hibernation, slowing metabolic rate to 1/15th of its normal rate.

With the exception of insects, hummingbirds while in flight have the highest metabolism of all animals - a necessity to support the rapid beating of their wings during hovering and fast forward flight. Their heart rate can reach as high as 1,260 beats per minute, a rate once measured in a blue-throated hummingbird, with a breathing rate of 250 breaths per minute, even at rest. Helene specifically is a Shining green humming bird, born of Venezuela. They primarily feed on nectar taken from a variety of brightly colored, scented small flowers of trees, herbs, shrubs and epiphytes. They favor flowers with the highest sugar content (often red-colored and tubular-shaped) and seek out, and aggressively protect, those areas containing flowers with high energy nectar.They use their long, extendible, straw-like tongues to retrieve the nectar while hovering with their tails cocked upward as they are licking at the nectar up to 13 times per second. Sometimes they may be seen hanging on the flower while feeding.
Helen XLII the fourth in command of the Birds of Paradise, a Shnining green hummingbird of a one foot tall, 25 pounds, and too agitation A cup. Once a gypsy/(trickster and a thief), her days of travelling were over when she stepped into Nyx's path. Forced into servitude, knowing that Hummingbirds generally don't live that long; Nyx gave Helen "immortality"; by that I mean whenever Helen died she would reincarnate as herself, allowed ot live her life again. Surrounded by so many bigger, taller and more well endowed magic users, Helen became obsessed with human technology as she wanted to match their power on her own terms. The fact she knew she would reincarnate no matter what she did made her mind go unhinged, throwing herself at every mechanical prototype or untested theory mankind could throw at her knowing death was a slap on the wrist to her now. In the end she finally stopped when she became self aware of her reincarnation: "Where am I coming from, and where do I go?"
The instant she could ponder that it felt like the universe took a hammer to her to brain; her mind was wide open to the secrets of the universe as she was rebuild from gluons and leptons to protons neutrons and electrons. She found she could control her reformation, able to respawn anywhere on the planet as she finally found what could give her power and recognition: becomming a "Quantum mechanic". Helena created the first shrink ray and shrink suit, taking all the science fiction and replacing it with only science.
In the end Helena is the reason the Birds of Paradise made it to Planet Nu, using one of her devices to force open a hole in space/time wide enough they could all walk through.

When she's not surrounded by machines she can be a very nice bird, her magnum opus of creation being a miniature galaxy, she's gotten out of touch with "reality" easily excitable and absolutely loves it when people can surprise her. Despite being so tiny, she can eat a LOT, an interesting thing to observe as she eats the atoms that composes the object with her tiny tongue seeming to suck it up as if it were a liquid.
If you can REALLY excite her though, beit through fright or true joy you'll possibly see her at her cutest where she'll flail her arms so fast you'll hear a humming sound.
Actually calling her cute though often has mixed results, being so small makes her over analyze people and what they do around her; always believing they're helping her/being kind to her just because she's small.

Like the other avians she sought ways to become enlightened, and stumbled along the way. She found it impossible to sever her ties with technology, the source of her power. Giving up, she then strengthened herself against the sin of gluttony; she did this by amplifying her virtue of temperance, in the end learning her true name "Ludja".
As an organization, Helen is responsible for creating a repair shop/automotive store so so people who want to stand by her side using machines instead of magic to protect themselves are more than capable.
As an individual she keeps an eye on the stability of their dimension; every time a forgotten one makes their way onto Planet Nu the dimensional rift they entered through doesn't close, so Helen has to stich it shut so nothing bigger can force it's way through.

Backstory
By far the most normal, Helen is from a long line of Pure (from India) gypsies; all them were named Helen as well.
When the time for pilgrimage arrived, the Helens chose to go to North Africa, settling into Egypt. They were an intelligent people, used to living on their wits, who found it easy to impress the uneducated locals by giving themselves unwarranted titles and assuming the importance to go with them.

The first Helen met Nyx_the_Vulture having boasted of her intelligence, and was challenged to a private game of senet by the pharoah's visier.
The hummingbird did her best to bluff through the match, but eventually was outsmarted.
Threatened to have her treachery exposed, Helen pledged to serve the vulture until she died.

Nyx wasn't content with this since hummingbirds only live for 8 years, so the vulture made it so Helen had to find a mate to impregnate her; Helen's children would then continue to serve Nyx like she had until eighty years among them had passed.
In serving Nyx she flew back and forth between Egypt and Europe as a 'knowledge seeker'. Everyday Helen would be sent out, flying around the continents to look around for something "Peculiar".
Eventually she flew out to the Mediterranean sea, finding a temple at the bottom of the brackish water.

She could feel what she described as a monster inside. This was how Nyx found KharybdisKingfishe. The vulture revealed herself to be a magic user, able to talk to the person through telepathy.

This was a trend for the rest of what would soon be known as the Birds_of_Paradise. A Phoenix intern student/librarian at Saint Catherine’s Monastery and her daughter the last to join after the former had to be calmed down.
So many powerful magic users in one place, Helen was able to find one last "Peculiar" thing.
As the forgotten knowledge of the lunarians and the Celestial war was brought back into existence, the border between time and space began to tear; this created gateways to the world between worlds, the "Dimensional miasma".

Helen went in first the miasma increasing her lifespan to that of normal human,and even bestowing greater intelligence to her.
Everyone followed close behind soon after so as not to be seperated; at the journeys end they had reached a whole new world where she and the other B.O.P were needed even more.
