Before you stand the femme fatales of video gaming. The champion females of the DOATEC world fighting tournament. Training and fighting are their lives, and maybe a little beach volleyball. They are non-reforming and will be gone forever, once dead. I may resurrect the whole set once all are gone. |
Name | Description | Alive/Dead |
Lisa Link | Lisa is a very nice and caring woman, able to connect with all the other DOA girls quite easily, and even be able to keep conversation with Ayane, which in itself is miraculous. She is a workaholic, evident by the fact she is constantly working on something. As for fighting, she is known as La Mariposa, a mexican style wrestling masked woman. Her history is unknown, but she is rumored to be Zack's sister or close freind. | Alive |
Hitomi Link | Hitomi is a martial artist through and through. Her victories have come as a result of a grueling training regimen as well as a complete commitment to her studies and her art. Not only has Hitomi practiced her techniques, she has studied them, coming to understand the deeper principles behind karate as well as the art itself. Hitomi is very much an honorable competitor and follows the traditions of her art to the letter. She always fights fairly in a match, for to do otherwise would bring shame to her name, her martial art, and her father's dojo. Hitomi is also fair in her dealings with others, treating everybody equally and with the respect that they deserve. She will not underestimate a foe by acting in a brash or overconfident manner. At all times, she will fight to the best of her ability, as she wishes to test her strength and training to the fullest. | [DEAD] Killed by- [ Abrienda ] |
Ayane Link | Ayane is a psychological mess. She was born as the result of Raidou raping Kasumi's mother, Ayane. Though Ayane was allowed to stay in the ninja clan, she was always looked down upon as a "poisoned child", generally ignored by many of the ninja clan. Ever since they were children, Ayane looked on Hayate with admiration. She looks up to him as a way of increasing her self-esteem and lifting her sadness. Hayate might have learned of the true circumstances behind Ayane's birth and did not see the point of isolating her as everyone else did. While Kasumi and Hayate joined the rest of the village in a festival, Ayane called her estranged daughter to her and revealed through tears that she was indeed her mother instead of being an orphan as she was probably lead to believe. Shocked at this news, her young mind quickly deduced that it seemed that everyone knew that she was indeed the daughter of Ayane, wife of the leader of their village. Along with a burning hatred for Raidou, the man who ruined her life by creating it in the first place, the focal point of her ire rested on the one who had been treated like a princess while she was treated like dirt even though they shared the same mother - Kasumi. In her own time, Ayane is quiet and reserved, and tries to forget her experiences as a child; being taunted and expelled from normal life because of her heritage. She has honed her skills to unbelievable heights in an attempt to make others see her to be more than the "cursed child". With the death of Genra, Ayane is now the strongest ninja of the Hajinmon, if not the de facto leader. Ayane maybe has managed to reconcile her feelings of hatred with Kasumi somewhat, as demonstrated when she prevents Kasumi from trying to rush to Helena's aid as DOATEC's explosion took the building in DOA 4. If anything, it is probably due to the fact that Ayane still resides in the Mugen Tenshin village while Kasumi does not and thus, not able to be with her brother Hayate. | [DEAD] Killed by- [ Abrienda ] |
Tina Link | Tina is very confident of her abilities, almost to the point of arrogance. She also conveys the stereotype of the "American Dream" in that she is frequently entering a new profession to the point of being unrealistic. Tina has great confidence in her sex appeal, which she exhibits through her extroverted, and sometimes impudent, personality. Some of her outfits and poses also seem to be more sexually suggestive than the other female characters, as well. Overall, Tina exhibits a pure, immense lust for stardom in most of her actions. | [DEAD] Killed by- [ DaisyDairy ] |
Kasumi Link | Kasumi is portrayed throughout the DOA series as a more compassionate character than her younger half-sister, Ayane, and any of the other fighters. She is an honourable and kind spirit and although a highly skilled kunoichi with deadly abilities she does not enjoy or wish to fight. Many of the statements she makes in the game series before a round begins reflect her desire to avoid confrontation. This is perhaps rather an awkward element of her portrayal when considering she has essentially entered the tournament knowing she would have to fight. Her statements also often reflect the fact Kasumi is very merciful. She doesn't like to see people suffering at the hands of her skills and is inclined to show mercy to her enemies. However she is capable of killing and this is shown in the first DOA story where she defeated and killed Raidou. This was notably in a fit of rage and in revenge for the crippling of her brother, Hayate, by Raidou. Therefore if the circumstances had been different and Kasumi had not been so enraged she would have hesitated to take his life. These actions also represent how strongly Kasumi feels for her brother. She is demonstrably family orientated and would like nothing more than to return home in peace. | Alive |
Kokoro Link | Along with Kasumi, Kokoro would appear to be one of the only other characters to display some type of mercy after a victorious battle. In one instance, she asks if she has gone too far with the fight, and goes so much further as to extend an apology. Her confidence seems to be somewhat two-sided, as she does indeed fight to the best of her ability, but if she loses, she calls out for her mother. If the player chooses to continue, she tells her opponent that she'll show them what she's got. This would indicate that although she is confident in her style, losing proves to be a bit too much for her, and her young age has her return to a comfort zone such as her mother. This continues to show in DOAX2, where she arrvies on the island without her mother's knowledge. Even before some matches she states her thoughts as to whether or not she can win, or stating that she is not going to lose. Nonetheless, she is well-mannered and well-spoken and fights to the best of her ability, regardless of the outcome. | [DEAD] Killed by- [ Sulaby ] |
Helena Link | Helena is outwardly haughty and unconcerned with other people. She brushes off everyone else as not mattering to her, even other fighters in the tournament. She is rather overconfident, doubting other fighter's abilities and making sport of her fights. Above all else, she is obsessed with revenge against her mother's killer. She is very patient with her search, yet totally unrelenting. | [DEAD] Killed by- [ Kate_ ] |
Christie Link | Above all, Christie is cold and callous towards others. As a result of her profession (as well as her outlook on life), she regards other people to be utterly disposable and meaningless. She takes her job seriously, and is completely ruthless when engaged in a mission. Also, due to the mastery of her art, she is arrogant, taunting her opponents before and after battle, as well as being completely confident in the fact that her fighting style is superior to that of any opponent. In Dead or Alive 4, her personality is expanded upon greatly, especially in cutscenes involving Elliot and Helena, during which she fights them with an almost sociopathic relish. As her ending CG in Dead or Alive 4 shows, Christie reveals herself as a true femme fatale who is not afraid to use her good looks to lure her victim in a false sense of security. During her observation of Helena, Christie has developed a morbid fascination with her target that even she finds difficult to understand. She nonetheless plans to carry out her orders, but is indignant of anyone else raising a hand to Helena, as that privilege is to be left to her alone. | Alive |
Lei Fang Link | Lei Fang is a spunky, intelligent and cheerful 19-year-old student. Practicing martial arts has given her a strong dedication to self-improvement, both mentally and physically. Lei Fang hopes that by honing her own skills, she can eventually help others to do the same. At the same time, her young age and general inexperience with the world around her can sometimes cause her to not fully think things through. Along with a strong motivation for self-improvement, Lei Fang is also somewhat arrogant. She became angry at Jann Lee for helping in a time of need, rather than thanking him for his assistance. She also doesn't hesitate to mock an opponent after a victory in battle | [DEAD] Killed by- Samantha_Grey |
