The offspring of an alien creature that made its way to earth quite some time ago Sulaby is somewhat of a newborn growing in size and strength with each meal it devours. Sulaby is completely sentient and well aware of what it is doing and is fairly capable of speech and reasoning too though generally pleading doesn't work too well

Physically there is more to Sulaby than meets the eye though the main pod is basically a pair of lips and giant tongue, many smaller vines can detach themselves in order to subdue any more troublesome prey. From there the prey is ingested inside moved into a thin pod that clings tightly to their frame leaving an almost latex like appearance where they are kept to either be released or digested.

Generally the plant feeds on the bodies themselves though to Sulaby's surprise sexual energies boost its growth more hence why it isn't above taking advantage of any poor soul that it catches in its vines.

Abilities

As it grows of course Sulaby will learn new tricks and abilities to help it catch more prey currently listed below are ones that it has so far. Having finally grown from its newborn state the plant feels stronger than it has ever been and all the more hungry for it!


Sensing

Given of course the fact that Sulaby has no eyes or ears the plant has to use other ways of tracking any potential meals or threats. Pressing roots into the ground Sulaby can track the vibrations of any loud noises or footsteps from upward of a mile away. As a child Sulaby has access to a variant of this maneuver as well by making the roots stick out of the ground he can sense changes in the air through anyones movement though this ability can of course be removed by simply severing the roots.

Poison

Though its not fatal there are some barbs that can extend from the vines. At a high enough does the poison causes paralysis leaving the body completely unable to move though still able to breathe and feel everything normally. Currently as a child Sulaby now has a somewhat potent poison that if left unchecked can lose all use of a limb for almost thirty minutes.

Barbs

Not only are the barbs themselves poisonous but now Sulaby can forcefully remove them from itself almost firing at a target. The downside to this is of course that it takes some time to regenerate another barb and thus the vine is left unprotected. Currently as a child Sulaby is capable of firing one barb per vine every five minutes.

Aroma

At its fullest potential the scent has the ability to bewilder and confuse its target leaving it unable to tell what is going on or in some cases very sexually charged. As a child Sulaby can breathe out a large cloud of its aroma that confuses and momentarily blinds the target though the sensation is very fleeting and every breath in turn is less potent.

Lure

Since of course prey simply doesn't simply come waltzing up to be devoured its species can use many things to entice any potential targets nearby. As a child Sulaby can sprout small shoots from the main vines that quickly blossom out into very attractive looking flowers. The flowers themselves contain a very small dose of the aroma but isn't potent enough to do any harm simply used as a way of tracking anyone that removes any of the flowers for now.

Spit

The secretion has been known at its most lethal to be able to burn through most any substance at all except for the plant itself. Another variant is a extremely sticky and powerful solution that holds stronger than any super glue or cement known. Currently as a child Sulaby has a rather basic variant which is too weak to burn through anything other than clothing whilst armor and flesh remain unharmed.

Vines

As a plant of course it has vines uses to help capture its prey as well as several other uses. A fully grown creature can summon forth a vast amount from the roots underground. Currently as a child Sulaby has access to six main vines though this of course will increase in due time.

Regeneration

As will happen with any plant vines and parts will be lost through one means or the other though the race of Sulaby has a very quick regeneration rate to help in this manner, regrowing lost parts simultaneously to fullness in mere moments. Currently as a child Sulaby can take up to forty seconds to grow back its vines.

Seed

As the plant matures so to dos it seek the need to reproduce in order to carry on its lifeline. As a child Sulaby has the ability to lay its seed inside of only a few targets at anytime, the seed won't develop or grow though until Sulaby reaches full adulthood thus it will lay dormant.


Burrowing

All of the plants have this ability in order to escape from a damaging environment or a dangerous creature sometimes simply in order to hide and not to put off any potential meals. As this is a simple basic move Sulaby can perform this at any time it chooses.


On its constant search for nourishment combined with a home it can reside in safely without fear of attack. After much exploring and travelling it finally came to reside on the grounds of Eden_Academy picking off those that try to escape or trespass on the premises.
