High_School_Rinari

High School Rinari is a part of the Speckled Sky.

As the daughter of Laney Stone and the granddaughter of Rinari, it's inevitable that Rinari Stone (The second) would have the same latent predisposition towards adventuring the rest of her family has. Indeed, this part of her was triggered a long time ago. She often has flashes of heroic or adventurous images in her head from time to time, little episodes that confuse her more than anything else. However, considering the current state of the world, young Rinari did not find the proper outlet for her adventurous tendencies.

No, instead of going on the proper adventure her mother prevented her from going on, she instead turned to simulated adventures. Video games, books, movies, dice games and tabletop role-playing games, especially those of the fantasy variety. Such activities offered her the adventuring high that she craved, but still, it didn't seem like it was enough for the little elf. She even started attending a LARPing group on the weekends, fashioning costumes and impressive-looking but ultimately useless weapons for such an event. Her mother is absolutely terrified of letting her daughter live the life of adventure like she used to, so she allows her to do these things.

However, such things haven't taught her the necessary skills she needs to survive in school. (Yes, she goes to school, it doesn't matter what school, it could be yours.) A geek through and through, the poor girl is socially awkward and tries to keep her head down, lest her secret love of all things fantasy and adventure is exposed and she becomes a target of bullying. Bullying that naturally leads to predation. While she does spend a majority of her time learning how to act like an adventurer, she knows next to nothing when it comes to fighting off bullies, much less hungry predators, so keeping a low profile is her only defense against such things. However, because of her odd actions and the grinding of the high school rumor mill, this doesn't always work out.

Friends (And Other Relations)
Rinari met Danielle Green during one of her LARP games. Danielle was the dragon, and Rinari was the damsel in distress. While Danielle had not done anything to rub the elf the wrong way, Rinari held nothing but burning contempt for the dragoness for weeks afterwards, stalking her at the diner she worked at, hoping to find one little flaw she could exploit. After a visit to her apartment one night, though, the elf no longer hates her... But now she's battling rumors about her and the dragon being together, which she doesn't -totally- refute.

Driela has been Rinari's best friend since they were little kids. She and her mother accepted Drie when everyone else shunned her for being what she was. Rinari considers her the sister she never had. Their closeness has caused some nasty rumors to spring up around their school, though, especially now that it's been said that Drie's been living with her best friend.

Rinari met Nazo Engima when he- Oh. She doesn't really like to talk about him. Nevermind. ...When did her belly get so round?

Rinari doesn't really like Suzune, but due to their unique situation, they're forced to work together to find a way out of the hellish forest. Rinari does seem to know that Suzune is trying her best, but she just can't shake the knowledge that her pervishness does more harm than good. Also, she can't quite place it, but does she know her from somewhere else...?

Hush
It just happened. Rinari didn't come home one night. Her mother tried to call her repeatedly but she never picked up. The most anyone can recall was that she was on cleaning duty that day, but the students she was supposed to be cleaning with skipped out and went to see a movie instead.

The following morning, as a staffer at the high school opened the door to the third floor classroom, Rinari dropped out with a dreamy look on her face, dead. It was impossible to tell just what had done the poor elf in. Her clothing was melted, as if by some strong acid, but otherwise, nothing was wrong. It was as if she had dropped dead for no apparent reason, propped against the classroom door. Judging by the look frozen on her face, she at least spent her last moments in immense pleasure.
