Having gone to a shrine to take the treasures from it, Yuki was woefully misinformed regarding the treasure. What she found there instead was Mommy_Ai. Yuki was born to the Shihoun family as the younger sibling of the industrial ninja clan. Their facade had been a successful merchant business that allowed them trade with such families as the Marlintieus merfolk noble family, whom they became rather close to. As a youth expected to carry on the work of her family's clan, Yuki began at the tender age of five to learn the skills of stealth, deceit, and manipulation, to steal and to kill, though she preferred the former greatly to the latter. During this time she'd also spend a lot of time when their families visited with Mirelle Marliteus, the youngest of the Baron Marlientieus' family, learning reluctantly how to swim, though soon enjoying herself, often clinging to Mirelle's tail because she became too lazy to swim herself. It wasn't long till tragedy struck, and her parent's became sick, though from what, Yuki was at first unable to determine. She tried natural means of healing that her young mind could come up with but eventually they passed away. On dying, she found that the ceremonial cups they sipped from still had traces of a virulent poison as of yet unknown to her, but keeps this a secret as she goes on to live with Mirelle's family, her best friend who was like a sister now a sister in truth. Despite confiding nearly everything in her sister, she couldn't let her know what she and her family really was, as she wasn't sure how she'd respond in knowing her parent's were thieves and killers. Years passed by, and one day while Yuki and Mirelle were at play on land, Yuki ran into the great forest on the outskirts of the coast, Mirelle chasing her inside. After some time had passed, Yuki exited the forest and went back home, thinking it was a grand prank that Mirelle couldn't find her, but she didn't know that her big feesh sis would get lost there, and upon going back in, she couldn't find her, despite taking her older natural sister, Miyako, as well as adopted family members into the forest. When Mirelle would finally be found, they would find that she'd changed in her time in the forest, now possessing power over nature, and a bit less playful than before. When not at home Yuki would often go off to go "fishing", stealing from many others and bringing in some spare coin or items to bring home, though she was careful she was never near her feesh sis when she did so.
