"Everything's going to be just fine!"
In an instant after finishing the spell of Starswirl the Bearded, Twilight Sparkle ascended to a degree of magic so high that Princess Celestia saw fit to turn her from a normal unicorn into a divine and godly alicorn princess. Little did Celestia know, however, that the sudden increase in power had taken a severe toll on Twilight's mind, and her responsibilities as a princess only made things worse. Every day, all Twilight saw was chaos and disorder in Equestria, and every day she saw herself as a slave to Celestia, unable to exercise her own methods that she believed would prove effective in maintaining order. Twilight knew that if she was to create a better and more organized Equestria, she had to get Celestia and Luna out of the way first. Accessing restricted tomes and researching hidden and forbidden magic from ages past, Twilight formulated a plan...
One night, Twilight called Princess Celestia to her private quarters, and the two talked of past memories and Equestria's future over a cup of tea. Just as Celestia was about to leave to rest, however, Twilight ambushed her and slowly began stretching her mouth over her teacher's head. As Celestia struggled and tried to scream for help, Twilight continued to swallow her alive like a snake, her belly bulging as the alicorn goddess was curled up inside it. Leaving her teacher to digest slowly and painfully inside her gullet, Twilight went to bed and absorbed Celestia's power overnight. The next morning, it was Twilight who rose the sun, her former princess and teacher now nothing more than fat on her shapely figure...
Twilight had anticipated that Princess Luna would investigate her sister's disappearance, and waited until the princess of the night was all alone before confronting her. After a heated conversation which turned into an intense battle, Twilight defeated Luna and claimed her prize by showing her where her sister had gone. After raising the moon, Twilight went to bed to digest Luna and absorb her power as well...
With both princesses missing, Twilight was appointed the heir to Celestia's throne, and she set to work establishing a new regime in Equestria known as the Twilight Imperium. The Imperium represented pure order, and any actions seen as "disorderly" were met with harsh punishments. Many ponies were tossed in the horrid dungeons located in the catacombs under Canterlot, and sometimes offenders were even dragged off to Twilight's palace and were never seen again...
The truth was that Twilight had developed an addiction to her new magical skill which she referred to as "vore", the same skill she used to devour Celestia and Luna. She would often peruse the dungeons looking for any offenders that appeared appetizing to her, and would have them brought to her private chambers in the palace, where she would treat them to a night of fun before swallowing them whole, or sometimes even cooking them and eating them like a roast. Her favorite method of consumption is to shrink her prey down and pop them in her mouth like a piece of candy. It's favored for how discrete it is, and how easy her prey is to swallow. However, if her victim proves more useful alive than as food, she'll settle with making them her tiny pet...
Twilight's friends are split as to their feelings on her new regime. Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy support Twilight, saying that following her rules has benefited them for the better. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are opposed to the regime, saying Twilight is an enemy of freedom and democracy. In response, they have joined the underground anti-Twilight resistance led by Sunset Shimmer.
While dealing with the resistance, Twilight's forces also face the reemergence of the enigmatic Starlight Glimmer and her rising Order of Equality. Failing to unite ponies by robbing them of their talents, Starlight has instead decided to preserve equality as a superior fighting force against both Imperium and resistance forces. Her army is made up of ponies still loyal to her, as well as those she has magically brainwashed and tortured into submission. Starlight still continues her pastime of stealing Cutie Marks, but instead of keeping them locked away she has found the means to expand her enchantment to spread the talent of the Cutie Marks she steals over those in her new order, so that everypony that serves her will have that talent. The more Cutie Marks she steals, the more powerful her army becomes... At the moment, Starlight and Twilight are not engaged in any full-blown conflict due to the two coming to an agreement on a "neutral zone" between the northern territories controlled by the Order, and the rest of Equestria, but negotiations between the Imperium and the Order could fail at any time, and when that happens the battle between the two will not end until only one side is left standing... There is speculation among many ponies that Starlight has gotten her hooves on possible nuclear-grade weaponry, but this has not been proven... yet... It's also been said that Starlight Glimmer keeps a special place in her repository of Cutie Marks for one particular Mark that she hopes to one day claim--the one belonging to Princess Twilight herself...
UPDATE--Twilight has captured one of the key members of the resistance,
RainbowDash_, who surrendered to her as her loyal pet.
UPDATE2--Twilight has formed an alliance with
Corrupted_Trixie, and both tyrannical and hungry ponies seek to become true goddesses and rule the universe.
UPDATE3--Twilight met a gigantic hedgehog beauty known as
Giantess_Amy, and after getting to know her both inside and out, she and the titanic pink goddess became lovers. After digesting Twilight willingly--she reformed of course--Amy got some of Twilight's power, making her much bigger than before and also giving her a new large herm cock.
UPDATE4--Twilight fell for the sexy
Oni_Yuugi and now serves as the demoness' pet; when she's around, the Oni rules as queen.
UPDATE5--One day, Twilight met a sexy Gardevoir herm named
Shannon_ and took her in for some "fun". Overtime, she stole the sexy Poke-herm's heart and has made her a willing sex slave.

ApplejackTheHonest confessed her love for Twilight and was made Twilight's special somepony. She is now the happiest mare in Equestria.
This also means that AJ's recently adopted daughter,

GreatNHermTrixie played around with a spell she stole from the archives and received a massive stallionhood for her foolishness. Instead of punishing her sweet blue unicorn, however, Twilight decided to test out Trixie's new member and finally earned a night of fun with her secret crush. After some amazing sex, both mares confessed their love for each other and Twilight transported Trixie back to Canterlot with her by turning the herm into a royal gown. Trixie now lives with Twilight in her palace and loves her special somepony with all her heart.
