Thul_Varmok

Thul is a dragon who comes from a time of war. His people were being slaughtered like animals. The attackers were humans, ten times as advanced as his people. They had almost all the advantages, save for a few. While the humans attacked them with their guns, they quickly learned that while the dragon's armor looked medieval in origins, the metals they forged it from made their weapons all but useless against them. It didn't do good for the dragons either. After the humans lost a few battles almost instantaneously to the forward charge the dragons used, the humans stopped using regular guns. That failed too. They tried using explosives and flame based attacks against the dragons. The armor the dragons wore and the magic they used, protected them from the explosives, while natural abilities rendered the flame useless. After the humans lost a good few critical battles, they stopped using infantry all together. They were instead, in favor of using ships and tanks, and that is when the slaughter started. Thul's people were defenseless against the mighty weapons that simply seemed to vaporize them as well as their armor. Thul was only a mere hatchling when the war started. He could only watch as his mother and father barely managed to escape their burning destroyed village. Only to be killed later before his eyes by some new type of infantry the humans used to fight the dragons. He was too little to stop them or do anything about it. When the humans found him, they were intrigued by little Thul's intelligence and ability for someone his age, and took him aboard one of their ships for study. Thul grew up in their captivity. As the years drew on he displayed incredible physical ability and cunning. The humans were even scared he would break out for a few years. At age eight, Thul was already showing intelligence levels above any human who had ever lived. His physical ability was outstanding. He could lift five times his weight. He comprehended most things taught to him and retained them quite well. The humans were impressed with their research results, and to his docile attitude toward them, considering what they had done. At age 14, Thul's abilities had doubled and the humans were able to further their research of him. At age 18, he was taken into intensive training. They had hoped to turn him into a killing machine, and conducted several experiments on him; injecting him with strength and intelligence enhancers, adding to his already immense strength and intelligence. At age 19, Thul had attacked and killed 43 instructors in the intensive training program, and mortally wounded 23 others. The scientists were perplexed at this behavior. He had shown docile behavior up until then. The researchers were even sure they had developed quite the bond with their specimen, after they learned they could even hand deliver his meals. They couldn't have been more wrong. The next day four men showed up in white hazmat suits with stun batons and energy cuffs. One of them walked over to Thul slowly and tried to cuff him, only to be met with a sharp blow to the head, knocking him to the floor and leaving him limp and unconscious. Thul reached down and took his gun. The 9mm pistol was barely big enough for Thul to use. He held the others at gunpoint as he reached down and took the unconscious guard's flashlight and stun baton. He told the others to toss their guns and batons on the floor, and they did. Thul put the baton in his tail's grasp with the flash light, and took the mags and batteries out of the weapons. He then stood and left the room. Closing the door behind him, he walked down a hallway and found a sign that said "Escape Pods." ---> Thul didn't know what an escape pod was, but he knew what escape meant. He walked down the hall and found an empty room filled with these weird looking "Escape Pods" Thul took a seat in one and found he was almost too big to use the thing. He hit the launch button, the door closed, and the pod launched. He got a clear underview of the ship, and, as he flew toward a planet he knew wasn't Bhron, he saw three ships fly right into the ships thrusters. The thrusters were destroyed in a massive explosion that obliterated the ship as Thul approached the strange planet. When he crashed, he found himself in the middle of a strange forest and couldn't tell where he was if his life depended on it. For now, he is stuck on the planet until he can get back to Bhron.......


Physical Appearance (Regular anthro dragon) - Thul is 24 feet and 8 inches tall. His tail length is 12 feet and 8 inches and his wings are 18 feet and 8 inches in diameter. He has a very fine chiselled muscular build (( Note, only his arms and legs appear toned and muscular. I don't like the idea of a dragon with abs. It just seems to defy logic to me. )) with sapphire blue scales and a dark black underbelly with emerald green eyes and light black wingskin. There are also two eight and a half inch long horns coming protruding from the back of his head. He has a black tongue and mouth interior, and his organs glow a luminescent warm blue. His reproductive organs are internal and his member is a dark black. For the time being, Thul is entirely suited in insanely tough armor crafted by his friend Blizzare. He is also the child of Jared_Johnson, he was given a new form to change into as a result of this.

Personality - In his normal form, Thul is very distrusting and nervous, as well as very impatient and easy to anger. Espcially if he is being messed with or lied to. But he will only get angry at lies if he discovers the truth on the matter. He is very intuitive and inteligent as well. If he can't find any other dragons about he is most likely to try and avoid interaction. As he rarely gets along well with non-dragons. Humans are a real problem with him, for obvious reasons. But if someone can make a friend out of them they will find he is extremely loyal and devoted to helping his friends in any way he can. Eating/being eaten are options. But he will act very shy towards this, if taken even further he may grow nervous and uneasy, possibly even afraid of the subject. But the fear would only happen if someone is trying to convince him to let himself be eaten obviously. He will require large, if not extreme amounts of convincing to eat one of his friends or let one of his friends eat him.

Personality traits - He is very distant and unloving, faking most of his emotional reactions. Only does he reveal the true him around his closest friends. Or his lover, and only they will know the real Thul. He is also quite stone cold and uncaring, only ever having mourned the loss of two individuals, his parents. He is also hateful and grudging, given the right circumstances that is.


Physical Appearance (Waterpican anthro dragon hatchling) - Thul is roughly the same in this form, but he is 4 feet and 2 inches tall with a tailspan of 2 feet and 1 inch and a wingspan of 3 feet and eight inches. and his horns are not there either. But besides all of that stuff he is largely the same. Also he can only carry his armor and Plasma Cannon in this form. For he is much to small to use the mighty gun or wear the armor. On a side note he changes mentally in this form as well. Instead of having the mature mind of 19 year old adolesent dragon he has the mental development of a 10 year old dragon hatchling, not very well mannered or mature. But he is still growing in his knew form. Both mentally and physically. He does still remember everything after the formchange however, but it seems dreamlike and vauge. So he may act shy and untrusting even around his friends. An example being if he were to make a friend in his additional form he would remember doing that after changing back to his other form. But it will be as if it were a dream, and unless it happens in both of his forms Thul will act as if he was seeing someone or something out of one of his dreams. Thul can also blush in this state. But it is slight and undetectable. This is due to his hatchling form being warm blooded and such. For now Thul's alternate form is entirely naked. Save for the reformation chain around his neck.

Personality - In his hatchling form Thul is quite diffrent from his normal self however. He is still very shy and distrusting, but only at first. He is scared very easily, an unexpected roar could be enough to spark a surprising amount of fear in this little dragon hatchling. He is easily won over and convinced into doing something as well. He is immature and not to well mannered as well. But he has his mature inteligent moments as well. Though those have rarely appeared, unless the moment is right Thul is still even less likely to have one of these moments in addition. But he is very open and accepting to talk about sex or being eaten. Although the farthest he will go is letting himself be eaten or eating someone else. This is a pretty major change in Thul, considering how uneasy and nervous Thul would be with even the mention of such a thing normally. But this is a diffrent form. With diffrent mentalities and principles as well.

Personality traits - He is very cuddly and loving, often taking embrace with ones he trusts there have even been occasions where he found himself outright cuddling with those he hugs. He is like the polar oppisite of Thul's normal form. He is trusting and caring as well as friendly. But he suffers from being scared very easily in this state. People he fear he will make a direct attempt to avoid or hide from. If forced to face them he start to panic and look for a quick way out. Failing those options he will cower before the one that scares him. With not much else left to do.



Items - A suit of heavy armor which he wears as much as possible, crafted for him by Blizzare.

This chain cannot be removed by anyone except for Thul and those who have the players permission to do so. Thul also has holes in his chestplate, as well as bandages on his chest. A result of a shootout in a private RP.

Side Notes - Thul's chestplate is currently in the possession of Blizzare for repairs. So he wears all of his armor save for the chestplate right now. Thul also now has an ability to reform thanks to a chain given to him apon signing up at the Hunters_Guild. He also has the ability to change form between an Waterpican anthro dragon hatchling and his regular self at any time he pleases.



Perks -
Strong Willed - Not much can make Thul give up. Once he has his mind set on doing something, little else other than voluntarily changing his mind will make him give.

Overkill - Thul's incredible strength and natural skills in any form of melee combat make him an extremely deadly threat. Of course, that only helps in close combat scenarios.

Inheritance - Thul's family tree, filled with famous draconic mages, gives him the ability to use magic, but he doesn't know how to... Yet, anyway.

Team Player - Thul always does better with a dragon of any kind even so much as in his sight. He is bred to work in groups. His past has convinced him that dragons have been driven almost entirely extinct by those he was taken by. So in his current state he will be overjoyed to see another dragon.

Bloodrage - If Thul becomes this enraged you had better run and hide. Or, if you've got enough strength and balls, you could fight him. But if you choose this and you fail in fighting, you're either going to wind up ripped limb from limb, or in his gut... after he has totally chewed and ripped you up with his teeth of course.

Self Control - Since Thul's arrival on Nexus, he has met several humans who have proven to him that not all of humanity is bad. So he has decreased his hostile actions to every human minimally. Keep in mind however, that the change is only minor, and is unlikely to improve beyond that level.

Mental Strength - Thul had studied the ways of the monks of his people until he was kidnapped. They showed him the way to true mental strength and power. As a result Thul is capable telepathy and has quite the hardy resistance to mental attacks or anything of the sort. He has even been known to temporarily erase peoples minds! Making this way of combating Thul undesirable to say the least.




Disadvantages -
Untamed Ability - Thul has had quite a natural talent for magic his entire life. Lies and suppression however, have made him believe otherwise. His magic talent has made itself known to Thul, but he requires a mentor to have it be of any use.

Cold Blooded - Thul is cold blooded, making him quite vulnerable to frost based attacks and just the pure cold of night. This makes sunlight and other sources of warmth a fundamental requirement for him to function properly.
(( This disadvantage doesn't apply when Thul changes over to his other form due to it being warmblooded. But it applies at any other time. ))

Antisocial - Thanks to Thul's life as a classified captive, he hasn't retained the proper social ways of normal dragons, nor does he know how to act around anyone else for that matter. He has even been known to get nervous or even hostile when a large group gathers around him.

Heavyset - Thul's size alone presents quite the intimidating amount of weight. Making him not so useful for moving along delicate structures, such as glass, ice, thin wood, rusty metal, Etc. So he's learned to try and avoid senarios where he has to walk on things like that. But sometimes it is unavoidable...

Hunted - After Thul's escape from captivity word spread quite quickly. Espcially around the higher ups in the military. As a result they sent supersoldiers out on a search and destroy. After many failures they put a bounty on his head and spread the news as far as they could. Alive he is currently worth five million credits. Dead he is worth three and a half million credits. The human military spared no expense in getting every last bountyhunters attention.
