The Fourth Gym Leader of the
Salaba_Region.
Many trainers' journeys end as a result of their attempt to challenge this Gym Leader, known and feared for her unorthodox methods and rumored to participate in activities illegal in the Salaba Region. A childhood friend of Viol and a 'bad influence' as the trap's parents once called out, Vola is a strange breed of trainer resulting from the union of a former Team Plasma fanatic and one of Koga's students. She borrows the themes of ninjitsu and poisonous Pokemon from her idol, and happened to borrow some of her more unscrupulous behaviors from Ghetsis Harmonia.
She lived most of her life in Salaba as a roaming thief, much to the disapproval of her widowed mother (the particular pupil of Koga mentioned prior). Now stationed on Viovi Island, which seems to borrow architectural designs from the Johto Region in particular (and holds many similarities to Hong Kong in the early thirties, when paralleled to the 'common' reality), her Gym is a massive tower. Trainers must battle pupils on the lower floors with a variety of handicaps before they are granted the privilege of doing battle with her, and if at any point she decides they are too weak after losing a battle, she has been rumored to 'finish' opponents personally.
Vola is one of the few individuals that has partaken in the local fruit of the region for over a decade as most professors advised against it until recently, and as such she's received incredible physical abilities, from enhanced strength to shocking elasticity. Of course, when feeling a little more sadistic than usual or when she has defeated a relatively 'worthy' opponent, sometimes she will consume the loser herself. Otherwise, her Pokemon will attempt to snack on the poor trainers.

Despite living in Salaba all of her life, the latter two Pokemon in Vola's party are not native to the region. They belonged to her mother while she was still alive.
