Stephanie's story of how she became a wolf is that of a fairy tale, the lass was on her way to visit her grandmother who lived in a cottage in the countryside. Arriving wearing a red hoodie with some food and medicence in basket she would open the door to find a wolf with a large gut in the bed. But there was no disguise or silly rhetoric. Instead the beast pounced right away and laid it's fangs into her arm. Stephanie managed to knock the beast aside and fled into the woods, running for hours. Several times she was nearly caught but a stroke of luck would come her way when the two took a tumble down a hillside. Steph awoke about an hour later with a broken arm and several broken ribs, but alive. The werewolf wasn't so lucky, impaled on a sharp branch it lay there whimpering. Steph was about to run when the beast spoke to her "Don't, you will only perish before you make it out of these woods." Stunned at the monsters ability to speak the redhead turned back to him, tears in her eyes. She questioned him and he answered, why he ate her grandmother? why he had to chase her? how he could speak? what he was?

Stephanie could feel her eyelids getting heavy, she was losing energy, if she passed out now she might never wake up. The wolf however had an offer "I am doomed to die here, my flesh would be going to waste, it is you who bested me, come eat of my flesh, be noursihed so that one of us might live, and in turn you will become one of the wolfblood." She hesitated, refusing, waiting, hoping against hope someone would come along. Another hour passed, she pressed her hands to his neck, pushing against him with the knife she had to end his pain. Then she started to eat...

The night that followed would be the worst of her life, cold sweats, bones and muscles in aching pain, terrible nightmares. But by the dawns light she would awake anew, body covered in fur, features altered, she had become a lycanthrope. Given a second chance at life Stephanie honed her wolf skills and became quite the huntress, promising that she would keep the forest both the wolf and her grandmother were now forever a part of safe.
