Appearance: Rick is a human of normal height who happens to be slightly on the chubby side. He doesn't work out much, but thankfully his job requires alot of walking so that helps keep him from becomming fat. He usually wears his hair parted on the left and will occationally whip out a small black comb out of his back pocket to fix it if it gets messed up. He is also almost never seen without his glasses on since he needs them to do just about anything. They are gold framed and almost always in need of cleaning.

His work uniform is a grey para-military style button down shirt with black patches containing 3 red circles and the word "Securitas" in gold on the shoulders, an ovoid badge with the securitas symbol and his badge number on it, a red tie, black slacks and black shoes.

When off duty he normally dresses in blue jeans, white sneakers, and a t-shirt with a flannel shirt worn unbuttoned over it all. In the summer time this usually changes to jean shorts, sandals, and either a t-shirt or a Hawaiian shirt.

Last but not least is his varsity jacket from high school. It's body is made of boiled wool and colored blue. The sleaves are made of leather and colored gold. The side profile of an American Indian is on the right breast and a W is on the left. He used to wear alot more often back then as well as when he was in his early 20's, but now he wears it rarely and only when he's feeling nostalgic. He'll tell you the letter on it is from his days playing track and field, but in reality he got it for spending 4 years in the marching band.


Personality: On the surface Rick is a nice but quiet guy. He doesn't like crowds and isn't much of a public speaker. In fact, most of the time you'll find him off standing by himself. Usually the only people he converses with are his friends, but he can be quite the talker around them.

Now, this doesn't mean Rick's anti-social. Far from it. He's just very shy, especially around those he doesn't know. It mostly comes from his low self-esteem. He tends to think he has doesn't have anything of value to offer a potential new friend. He also has a fear of rejection and will sometimes start to feel depressed if he thinks his friendly overtures are being ignored or rejected. So if he approaches you it means there is something about you or something you've done to catch his interest enough to overcome his fears.
