Ryan is care free half demon, he is not one of those demi-human demons that thrives on the pain of others. He won't hurt anyone on purpose and won't hurt anyone unless he has to. He was also trusting but all of that changed some around fifty years ago when he was captured by some scientist. They just wanted to show Ryan someone that looked like him. Ryan thought he was being taken to see someone of his own kind but all the scientis wanted was to figure out what he was and how his powers worked. They did countless test on Ryan, he was miserable. No matter what they did they just couldn't figure out what gave him his powers or what his full powers were. One day he just had enough of it and during one of the scientist test he let them see exactly what his full powers were. He unleashed hell on the facility, freezing there machines then shattered them to pieces, he blasted streams of water that demolished walls and then he flooded the place. Ryan left no one alive, he didn't want to kill them but he just had enough of it. Only Ryan survived the flooding of the facility becasue he can breath underwater. He had been in that place for thirty years, but did not leave the place unscaved. He has these metal things around him his ankles that the scientist used to keep Ryan in his cell. He has no idea how to get them off of himself. Because of what had happen to Ryan he does trust anyone anymore especially humans. That does not mean he hates humans, not at all. He will befriend a human or anyone else but only after they prove to him they are not out to harm him.
Since the time he spent in that facility with changes Ryan a little, he is no longer completely care free, but he still doesn't thirve on the pain of others. However if you give any sign that your going to harm him or that he can not trust you. Ryan will go on the defensive and prepare to defend himself. All you have to do is show Ryan that your friendly or not going to hurt him and he will go back to being calm. Something Ryan discovered something about himself when he destroyed the facility that he was made a prisoner in. He discovered that he has a bit of a temper, it takes a lot before his temper is set off but even he can be pushed to far. His temper is not a big one and most of the time he is cool headed and very rarely gets into a rage, this doesn't me he doesn't get aggressive. Unlike fire demons Ryan's powers are not tied to his emotions. With water demons there powers are stronger when they stay calm and don't get fired up. Keeping a cool head and thinking things through work better for him than getting fired up and rushing in. Ryan left the facility after he destroyed it feeling there was nothing left for him there. He also wanted to get away from the place that caused him so much misery.
After wandering around the world for twenty years for a place that might accept him Ryan found the park. He hoped it was here that he find a place that would accept him, then Ryan saw others that looked like him and creatures of all sorts. He decided that he would make the park his home. Ryan is all by himself and looking for people to call friends or even people to call family because he has no idea where is real parents or any family are. Trusting others is something different, but if he can sense they are not out to harm him and don't have any bad intentions he will gladly let them be his friend or even be called family. Ryan has even thought about love but when you don't trust anyone that is hard but if the right girl came along and he felt he could trust her then that would be fine. Ryan built himself a home near the lake, ok it is more a mansion he just started building and couldn't stop. During the day he travels around the park, forest and lake minding his own business. He will be friendly to anyone he meets as long as they are friendly back. Ryan is very approachable as long as you do not do it too quickly. Unless he knows you, if he sees you rushing at him he will take it as you going to attack him. He is a bit jumpy when someone comes up behind him, its just a side effect from spending time in that facility. After the initial coming up behind him, if he sees it is just a friendly jesture then everything is fine.
As for Ryans powers he has the power to control and manipulate water, ice and much more. He can't control everything that has water in it, like people for example. He has never been able to control them and would never want to. Ryan can create a thick fog if he wishes too, he only uses this a means to dissappear and escape but only if really has to. Ryan can shoot blast of water, snowballs, and icicles from his hands. He also has what he calls frost touch, he can touch something and freeze it solid. This ability does not work on people, it will freeze them a little and slow there movements down but he can not freeze a person solid and he would not want to anyway. Ryan can travel through water, basically he can jump into any spot that has water. From an ocean to even just a puddle, Ryan can dive into it and then come out a puddle or any other water fifty feet away or on the other side of the world. This makes traveling very easy and he has learned that if someone holds his hand they can travel with him. Ryan is just as fast in the water as he is on land and he had the ability to breath air and breath underwater. When it rains or snows his powers are given a boost, but it does not all the time. However Ryan can make it rain or snow but it will only rain or snow for about twenty minutes. He can only make it rain or snow once a day each for some reason, so he only uses that power when he needs to. When it is raining or snowing not only do his powers increase, his strength and speed get a boost as well. Ryan can heal himself but only by touching some form of water. Since he can create ice, water, or snow that makes things easy for him to get what he needs to heal himself. However if the wound is severe then he must submerge his whole body in water. He can also heal other by putting water over the injured area and then putting his hands above the area. Ryan can also heal others by surrounding the wounded area with water then putting his hands just over the wounds and concentrating. In addition to his powers Ryan excels at hand to hand combat having learned many different forms of fighting styles over the years. If Ryan is killed or digested or absorbed it will rain the next day. From those rain drops Ryan will come up form out of a puddle just fine as if nothing had ever happened.
