What is a Mystery Dungeon that isn't a dungeon? That, I suppose, depends on your definition...

Someday, all Rescue Teams eventually retire. Some grow old. Some make a mistake that weighs on their soul. Some save the very world itself, and decide that world no longer has any need of them. These Pokemon considered themselves retired, for one reason or another - but fate has seen fit to unite them across barriers of time and purgatory alike, in a world completely alien to all of them. Quickly, they all discovered they had something in common - they were all formerly human, all ex-leaders of their own Rescue Teams, and all rescued the Pokemon world from the brink of catastrophe at some point.

What left did they have to do beyond form a Rescue Team among themselves? Team Blitz, as they came to be known, began searching for jobs in the realm of Nexus, with their combined talent for long hauls and catching their enemies by surprise with unexpected techniques. Unbeknownst to them, though, simply fighting isn't the best way to survive in this strange, voracious world...

THE TEAM

Siegfreid (or Sieg for short) is the leader of the team, a Meowth with a perchant for hoarding. Casually, he's alright to be around - a bit reclusive, usually lets his buddies do the talking, but he's friendly as long as things are going his way. But once he sets his sights on something, he can get downright scary - speaking in cold, raspy tones, pouncing ferociously with little care for plans or well-being. This tenacity is what the team is named after, and it can usually work, provided the rest of the team can back him up. His goals will usually be noble, but he isn't averse to swiping things that don't belong to him if he believes he won't be caught.

His signature move, the Night Slash, doesn't physically cut into enemies - rather, trailing thin lines of darkness into people with his claws, like a net that restrains and weakens whoever it covers. Sieg usually has an escape plan, but when he ends up being cornered or surrounded, he breaks out a Thunderbolt he learnt from a TM, zapping everybody immediately around him.

Buzz is a Bulbasaur with the mind of a military man. If he isn't mouthing people off like a drill sergant, he's either taking orders or distributing them through the ranks. And just like a soldier, he doesn't buckle easily under pressure - if you knock him down, he'll just get right back up again as soon as he's able. Ironically, if anything, he can get a bit fidgety when he isn't under pressure, as though routine conflict means more to him than sitting around peacefully.

This Bulbasaur might not be able to use an assault rifle anymore, but his Bullet Seed will make you wish he did. It hits hard and consistently, so much so that even fire types have buckled under its pressure with ease, making him perfectly suited to the same support gunner role he always had been. Buzz can also launch Leech Seeds for a less painful approach, and has one hell of a grip with Vine Whip if ever forced to fight up close.

Floe is an Oshawott, easily the most naieve and submissive of the bunch. Technically more of a pet to the team leader than an equal, he'll do what he's told to and believe whatever he's made to believe, loyally and without much question. This, however, can also make him vulnerable to suggestion from others with the right temptation, which has gotten him in trouble on occasion. He's usually right there in the fray with his master, though isn't nearly as confident or reckless, and will usually only attack after their target is distracted.

Floe is more a master of ice than water, but he has tricks in both schools. He can blow Bubbles large enough to trap somebody in, part or whole, and can freeze solid both those and any Water Guns he uses to immobilize further if need be. His scalchop is less a blade and more used for whipping up Icy Winds like a paper fan would for a breeze, and his Blizzard can wipe out entire rooms when pushed too far.

Bub is a Munchlax with a one-track mind. While he likes helping Sieg find treasure, he loves food above all else, and can find both seemingly out of the blue, even if there was no indication there was anything ever there. His passion for food also extends to gummis, making him the smartest member of the team and giving him the ability to read any situation like a book. A former comerade of his is permanently stuck inside his stomach, forced to survive on mushy, chewed up scraps that Bub swallows down. The rest of the team think it's a Pikachu...?

Bub has plenty of weight on his side, so a simple Tackle is usually enough to pin someone into submission. Failing that, some of the seeds he spontaneously finds are debilitating and can be used to subdue enemies, along with Thunderbolts and Discharges that he can coax out of his belly captive to paralyze his enemies. If his back is against a wall, he'll just Metronome and leave his fate to chance, but he isn't always terribly pleased with what happens afterwards. Poison moves are yucky.

An alt of Yol's. My actual preferences are there - read them first, or you won't get an RP, period. These characters are based of various Pokemon I've played in all three Mystery Dungeon games, and may yet be added to depending on how my current replays of the series go.

Roleplay Preferences (Click here for explanation)

As Pred

Being PredBeing Prey Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike Single sided prefs for convenience. All of the team members are capable of predding, but they still feel wierd about the thought of it.
Reforming Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike Out of scene, if at all. Just because it's implied they don't come back, though, doesn't mean I'll stop playing these characters or that you should stop playing yours.
Transformation Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike Well, it's not like they're in their original form to start with. =V
Group Roleplay Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike Not a rule of thumb despite the setting - the team doesn't always work together, and many of them have their own reasons for taking solo missions.
