PKMNTrainerSatael

"Harmony and Chaos are just two sides of the same coin. The force between, Balance... That's what I believe in. That's what I am."

Update: Recently made a trip back to Kalos after a long hiatus. Expect an update eventually.

There is a legend that, eons ago, in a land far beyond Johto, a benevolent trickster god representing Song and Balance named Sata'el was framed by his fellow deities for the death of his beloved. Cursed to walk the Earth until he found proof of his innocence, the deity touched many, taught many, and ultimately saved his children, a fledgling race neither human, animal, or Pokemon, from extinction, proving his innocence at the same time. He and his people made a pilgrimage to a land untouched by the other gods, and found their way to Johto, but eventually their civilization faded from the memory of most.

This is not his story. At least, not entirely.

Sata'el was named after the trickster god by his father, whom was a researcher in the Ruins of Alph. Ever since he was able to talk, he always asked questions about the ruins and made comments of an odd familiarity with the curious Pokemon that wandered within, the Unown. His father forbade him from solving the puzzles within, due to their nature of randomly dispersing individuals throughout the ruins and the fact that he had no Pokemon of his own to protect him.

And then it happened.

On his tenth birthday, Sata'el was given his first Pokemon, a Totodile, and made his way back into those familiar ruins on his own, determined to solve the puzzles that had piqued his curiosity all those years before, particularly taking advantage of his father's absence at the time to throw caution to the wind. In doing so, he caused what almost seemed to be an abnormal swarm of Unown to appear. What happened thereafter isn't entirely certain, and even he doesn't recall it entirely, but he woke up with strange markings all over his body; astrological signs, spirals, alchemical transmutation circles. All of them seemed connected, yet none really tell why. The other researchers insisted he stayed until his father returned, and he reluctantly complied.

When he did, immediately his father recognized some of the variations and symbols. He pulled out an old tome and showed his son one of the few illustrations of the deity after which he was named, revealing a similar marking on one of his own arms, but nothing more of significant detail. Perhaps, in some odd way, he had received some blessing... Perhaps it was a curse. Regardless, he remained and trained with his father, learning what he could of the deity whom he now not only shared a name with, but markings with as well, ultimately leaving his company at the age of sixteen to begin his quest legitimately, now with a Feraligatr and Espeon in tow.

-Theology, Mentality, and Behavior-

Due to his experiences in the Ruins of Alph, Sata'el is a believer in the old legends of Johto, and rather accepting of those of other regions. He does not believe in one particular pantheon or follow the practices of any religious order, yet at the same time it is very seldom that he will mock or show disdain to such practices, allowing people to follow their own beliefs even if he is strongly against them, and only interfering if serious harm will be done to others. He often decides to do things on what seems to be a bit of a whim, which can make some think he is flighty or indecisive, but in reality it is simply part of his nature. He wants to try everything he can and see what is most beneficial to him, and as such he can be indecisive, even going so far as to flip a coin on matters he's uncertain of that others would assume to be simple choices. As long as a good balance is kept, it's all that matters to him, even if this very nature makes him seem a bit chaotic.

Sata'el is a slight romantic, and does enjoy the arts (particularly music) to an extensive degree. He can pick up most instruments and play them with little problem, and can sing fairly well with a range that varies from a high tenor to a deep bass, though his voice seems to find a good baritone balance for conversations. Of course, his love of music has made seeking out the legendary Pokemon Meloetta a high priority of his.

In battle, Sata'el is often almost aloof, but can become a terrifyingly ferocious opponent if anyone he claims as a friend is threatened. He's loyal to the bitter end, and will do anything to protect those he cares about. With all of his talk of 'balance' determined by things such as chance, it's good to know he still won't turn his back on those he's sworn loyalty to.

-Desirable Scenes and Plot Hooks-

Grab and Gulp/Short Term Scenes

-An Additional Wager-
Sata'el engages in a Pokemon Battle with another trainer, but either he doesn't have a reasonable sum of money to offer if he loses or the opposing trainer simply suggests raised stakes in the form of temporary servitude. This can result in sexual situations, vore, or simple silly shenanigans, and can be decided in a multitude of ways.

-Encounter Gone Wrong-
A wild Pokemon Encounter goes horribly wrong as either Sata'el loses the battle or is unable to release his Pokemon before he's ambushed. This can result in various consequences, the most common of which is likely vore.

-Power Spike-
A random effect will occur from Sata'el's marking and will affect him in some way. This can vary from him transforming into some manner of Gjinka or anthropomorphic Pokemon to him suddenly gaining size or losing size, to a serious change in his normal personality, to simply becoming more persuasive. Really, the options are pretty boundless as, while there is a canon reason and power set behind his mysterious markings, I can play around with it for the sake of a scene that would benefit from a random 'power spike'.

-Pokemon/Story-Based Scene Plothooks-

Some of these are personal goals of Sata'el's that can be used as an emphasizing point in a story, while others are actual scenarios.

-The Hunt for Meloetta-
Sata'el has always been fascinated by the stories and melodies inspired by Meloetta, and as such it is one of his personal goals in life to at least see one in person, if not catch it. Of course, what actually happens when he meets said Pokemon is anyone's guess. This can provide a multitude of scenarios, from being led around (falsely or otherwise) with the promise of meeting a Meloetta to actually encountering one, and any variety of outcomes from sex to vore and most things in between, can be a result of this search.

-Return to the Ruins of Alph (Benevolent)-
Determined to find the answers to his mark, Sata'el delves into the Ruins of Alph, either with company or meeting them along the way, and discovers that some of his markings are capable of revealing and unlocking hidden passageways, and reveal that the Unown are not the only things that prowl in the darkness. However, the creatures that live in the ruins prove to be friendly and provide enlightenment to Sata'el and his companion, allowing the prior to finally acknowledge and utilize the gifts given to him and likely rewarding the latter in some way.

-Return to the Ruins of Alph (Malevolent)-
On the flip side of the prior suggestion, let's say that the denizens of the Ruins of Alph aren't so friendly, and in fact wish ill will upon anyone joining the one bearing Sata'el's mark. Let's also argue, for sake of simplicity, that the symbols start driving Sata'el insane and filling him with terrible thoughts and urges involving his companion. This could result in a far darker end for the parties involved.

-The Pokemon League-
Stock Pokemon story material. A trainer wants to rise to the top and become a region's Pokemon Champion with the help of his friends, competing with them and his rivals along the way to become stronger. Sata'el can either play the role of a supporting character or an apt protagonist. Again, this is a rather broad concept and can result in variable outcomes, from succeeding in the quest to being gobbled up by a wild Pokemon or a particularly hungry Grunt. Really, it's just a broad story concept.

-OoC Info-

Look to alts of Okusennman (particularly Rodo) for preferences until they're up. I wanted a trainer that wasn't a Gym Leader, so here you go. I'll work on finer details and the preference bars soon.

As for the nature of those markings, well, that's part of the enigma of the character. Certain markings will light up when some things are brought up or the presence of something of significance is near. Other than that, I'll let it be a bit of a surprise. Don't worry, I DO keep tabs of my characters' capabilities. The likelihood of his 'special abilities' helping in your typical vorish scenario are pretty null and void, to be honest.

Never/Dislike I do love storyline scenes involving the vast expanse of the Pokemon universe, though it's a matter of me being online. Out of character, my life can be just a touch hectic, so while I like Multi-Session scenes, they may not be the most realistic.
