Wyvern Culture at a glance

The World is a big place. It hides many things and gives many cultures a chance to florish. One of those cultures is the dragonic culture. The dragons might not look like they have one but they do. It's a tribal one but the dragons enjoy their solatary life styles for the most part. But Wyverns....Wyverns can bee seen in flocks of five or more. But there are some wyverns who prefer a life style similar to dragons. But along with their hoards they claim more than just gold and trinkets. They claim living beings. Riaka_ is one such individual. Within the wyvern's culture one's breath weapon determains your status. Fire breath is the most common, but those with thunder, poison, ice even magma are seen as influencial due to their rarity in some areas of the world.

Nitra's character

This is where we meet Nitra. This wyvern is one of the rare breeds. She breath a breath weapon of pure magma. WHich gives her domain over the flame wyverns that decide to take up roosts or nests within her territory. Nitra is a very laid back wyvern, she doesn't tend to raid humans much unless they happen to be out and about while she's hunting only then do people have to wory about her raiding habits. Though most within her territory treasure her due to one thing. The low number of criminals and badits dottinhg the area. Why? they're the first to be eaten during her hunting flights. The locals would give Nitra virgin girls having never tried to find out if she was a guy or not. But she never complained as the guy's she kidnapped while hunting were enough to pleasure her for a while...at least until they out lived their usefulness.

Nitra's anatomy

Like many wyverns Nitra has a flame bladder above her stomach along her back. The only thing different about this bladder it took longer for her body to replenish whjat she blasted from her maw. But due to her need to fly often she has what most avians have, a Crop. It's normally used to hold water for long journeys but can also serve to hold food if she can't carry it in her talons. She has two stomachs as well, the smaller storage gut under her main gut. This allows her to store food for long journeys if she needs to migrate or hibernate within her cave for winter. Meat does not go bad in said stomach. for it secrets an enzym that preserves it's freshness before it's moved to the crop and down into her main gut. She can also hold living beings in this storage gut. the enzyms make their bodies feel good and as the enzyms evaporate the generate air. So if you are special to the wyvern or belong to her in any way expect to be held there unles you were caught with your friends to be food, and couldn't fit you in hier crop and talons. though it can fit one human easily she can not fit more than two else it will result in death.

Within Nitra's maw that make her slightly different unlike most wyvern's she has serated teeth like the seafaring wyverns who eat aquatic meals, via catching them with their serated teeth.

Nitra's size is relatively small compared to some wyverns. She's only able to fit a max of two human sized beings in her main stomach at a time while her secondary one can only hold one.
