Through out the centeries the most promenant and powerful beasts to ever live in any world have always been dragons in some shape or form. The dragons of the multi-verse come in many shapes and forms. Some were space faring, some lived under ground for centuries with those who it shared the underdark with. Some live in the oceans and hunt sailors. Many fly through the air owning the skies and roaring out their challenges, against those who challenge their reign in within their terrotories. Each have a different scale color telling which breath they used or their alingement in their worlds. Dragons maybe some of the most majestic but even they have their own subspecies within their proud blood lines.

These Sub species take many different shapes and forms. Wyrm: The first and weakest of the subspecies slithers the Wyrms. These dragons are the most beastly. They have no intelegence, nor do they have legs or wings. But these dragon serpents have the one thing that still makes them dragons their magical blood and their breath weapons. These beasts obey the true dragons and are used as horde guardians when a dragon is not around.

Drake: These wingless dragons stomp in next. Unlike the wyrms they come in two types. Hide, and scaled. The scaled drakes use them as heavy armor, allowing them to charge knights and tear into them. The hide drakes have no such protecting, but what both types have the wyrms do not have is speech. This allows them to tap into their magical energies and cast spells, in addition to their breath weapons. Drakes have as much intelegence as a true dragon making them very deadly. For they are the closest breed to the more powerfuled winged true dragons.

Wyverns: Just as strong as a drake, smarter than both it and the wyrms the Wyvern flaps in now. The wyvern is possibly the most common of the sub species. Their winged arms make it hard for the dragon to walk along the ground but liek vampire bats they are able to do so and keep up with a horse as they chase their prey on the ground. in the air none can match their agility besides a true dragon. Vicious and unyielding Wyverns both have magic and element breath weapons. some wyverbns have a stinger at the ends of their tails, others have a whipe like tail that hurts like hell when hit by it. unlike the drake wyverns have no scales but hide. They are the smallest sub species no wyvern grows over 11 feet in height.

Now that you have been briefed on the many different sub species we may now meet who we came here top talk about.

Riaka the Wyvern of Fire. This wyvern is infomous and famous, for reasons that can not be explained. He is not the biggest wyvern but close. when standing at full hieght he stands at ten feet tall. that is from wing fingers to hsi shoulder. with his neck he's taller but that doesn't count. Riaka has a nasty habit of platying with hsi food, and capturing sexy damsels to keep as a part of his ever growing horde he has. If you are a merchant that is moving through his territory do not bring gold, or do not enter for he will some how find out and steal it all and eat who ever owns said gold to make sure it stays his. Many knights have been dropped in front of their castles because they've tried to rescue his birds. Only for the birds to be eaten when their novelty wears out for him and he needs to eat. Riaka

Riaka's Anatomy

Like many wyverns riaka has his flame bladder above his stomach along his back. But due to his need to fly often he has what most avians have. a Crop. it's normally used to hold water for long journeys but can also serve to hold food if he can't carry it in his talons. He has two stomachs as well, the smaller storage gut under his main gut. This allows him to store food for long journeys if he needs to migrate or hibernate within his cave for winter. Meat does not go bad in said stomach. for it secrets an enzym that preserves it's freshness before it's moved to the crop and down into his main gut. he can also hold living beings in this storage gut. the enzyms make their bodies feel good and as the ezyms evaporate the generate air. So if you are special to the wyvern or belong to him in soe way expect to be held there unles you were caught with yoru friends to be food. and couldn't fit you in his crop and talons. though it can fit one human easily he canon fit more than two else it will result in death. Unlike a lot of wyverns Riaka has a special sheath and sack. they are not within his body instead they dangle freely under him when not in flight. He does love to tease the females he catches by rubbing those sloshign orbs on their bodies and faces as he whispers how well they'd make his balls look with them making lovely bulges within his orbs.

Wyvern magic

Wyverns use the same magic as all dragons and drakes use, elemental breath weapons, and spells. Riaka specializes in fire magics being a fire wyvern. But like a red dragon he has a hypnotic gaze he can use to turn princesses into willing meals if he was so inclined.

Meeting Riaka is always a roll of the dice. Will he eat you? will he keep you? or will you be safe? you never know, but just incase be ready to use spelling potions or pills to keep from being digested and escape as he sleeps.
