Backstory

Kanade Hayami was the lead bodyguard for the Nanahara family, the descendants of the priestess's family who sealed away Yamata_No_Orochi oh so long ago, and were regular maintainers of the seal placed upon the snake goddess ever since.
But when it was time for her to guard her leader until she did her part in maintaining the seal, the family was secretly betrayed by those who had been lured by Orochi's words of a better world she could make, Kanade being framed for the murder of the leader she cared for so deeply - before being murdered in turn, after the ninja managed to stop their first attempt at unsealing Orochi.

As it turns out though, being murdered on a place of great magical power, where a snake goddess herself had cried vast tears over losing the one she lost and was sealed away at, while thoughts of venegeance was lurking through Kanade's mind with her last breath?

Excellent recipe for getting a second life, though it took a long while for Kanade to fully regain her senses - while she thought it would be temporary until the seal was fixed, Orochi's more successful arrival, limited as it turned out to be, ended up giving Kanade a full second life - the ninja having ended up inheriting some of the snake's abilities through the circumstances of her 'rebirth', as it were. Now she's both dedicated to making sure Orochi can't threaten the world and taking the chance to try out her new abilities on those who deserve it.

And perhaps see what the other angle is like, now that she also has Orochi's penchant for being hard to put down without being sealed away...

The Lady Herself Nowadays

While Kanade herself still retains all she knew and had at the time of her death, it's been augmented with a 'bleedover' of Orochi's energy due to where she died (and perhaps, the similar feelings of grief she had beforehand). While it doesn't mean she's about to turn into a snake anytime soon, it does let her do fancier tricks, whether it's a bite that stings a lot more than it should, or eyes able to perceive more than they should have. And of course, killing her tends to be far more temporary than it should be for a simple ol' human.
And while she is still on a mission, her experience with death and what she thought would be an unlife has given Kanade an appreciation for relaxing when she can - she might be far more laid back than you would expect if you're someone offering her an interesting enough experience, or perhaps you might be a good way for her to pass the time with some little tricks...

Events

Met the lovely Amythyst, and a cuddle session went a lot more lewd - all the way to unbirthing the lovely dragon. Now it's a matter of making sure she's reunited with her sister so they can both call Kanade mom.
Kaitlin_Draco found her first, as it seems like, and the lovely brains to the brawn of Amy was all too willing to join her sister inside. The two sisters will make an excellent pair of ninja daughters.~
