Nimrielye; half High Elf and half Wood Elf, an outcast from both societies hiding out in the outskirts of a human nation's capital. Due to her difficult upbringing she can be quite quiet and reserved; sometimes it can be quite rare for her to speak, especially in a group setting. She can be slow to warm up to people, taking awhile to establish trust in them. She's quite an accomplished archer, with an interesting twist; she uses the arcane skills she was taught to create magical arrows, channeling them through the special bow she wields.
If you're interested in her history, read on below! If not... That's okay, too. She'll forgive you.
Nimrielye; the unlikely offspring of her High Elf mother and her Wood Elf father. She got her looks from her mother, and her 'street smarts' from her father. Her parents' relationship was rather strained, tenuous at best, and they divorced a few years after Nimrielye's birth. Her mother, embarrassed at being associated with Nimrielye's Wood Elf father, agreed to share custody of her for sixth months of every year in exchange for his discretion. And so she was raised, spending the fall and winter months with her father in the wooded village he lived in, learning to hunt, craft, and survive; in the spring and summer months, she lived with her mother in the High Elven capital, learning arcane arts and the politics of the upper class. During what would be considered her late teenage years, she and her father were on a hunt, and were set upon by an incredibly powerful beast; her father was slain, and she barely managed to escape.
Her mother took full custody of her, doing her best to stamp out any traces of her Wood Elf heritage, and when she came of age, her mother intended to marry her off to the son of a powerful archmage, in an attempt to weasel her way into the family. Nimrielye despised the male High Elf to whom she was betrothed, and during a particularly bad storm one night she stole away, packing with her some clothes, some food, and the bow she was presented with for her coming-of-age ceremony, through which she can channel her arcane talents in place of using a traditional bow and arrow. She ran off into the woods, hoping to return to the Wood Elf village where her father live; however, the elves there saw her as tainted for her High Elven heritage, and had only been tolerating her presence because her father was a highly respected member of the village. With no home to turn to she ran back off into the woods, surviving on her own until she made her way to a human nation's capital, where she hoped she could never be found by the mercenaries her mother would likely hire. She now lives in the outskirts of the capital, finding that fewer questions are asked there; in the more populous parts of the city, a beautiful, young high-elven woman draws quite a lot of attention, which leads to many questions, and a certain amount of unwanted attention from the sons of noblemen who would wish to marry her, and she could only answer such attention with arrows to the foot for so long before the city guard started to take an interest. The outskirts are much safer for her, and have no shortage of people who can make use of her services.

You can call her Nim, if you like; she's not particularly hoity-toity about such things.
