In the center of the park you would discover a large structure there. A large arc marks the entrance along with a large sign that reads "Nexus City Zoo".
A zoo in a place like the park is just as you would expect, full of feral animals that absolutely love to swallow other living beings whole. However, the zoo not only has the animals you would find in a normal zoo, but animals from all the many worlds and dimensions connected to the park.
The zoo's habitats are top of the line and almost look like they had cut a portion of the animal's habitats and stuck then in the ground. They have many different sections of the park dedicated to the different types of terrain each species calls home and a large staff to keep the animals happy and healthy and to keep the visitors out of trouble.
The zoo understands that feeding every animal living meals would be taxing on the parks population, so they only feed the animals live meals when they are able to get a willing volunteer visiting the park, or a rule breaker whom they have caught.
All those eaten will be reformed, thanks to the parks reformation grid installed throughout the zoo. IT was originally meant for the staff just in case, before the zoo started it's live feeding program. Those reformed will find themselves in a room full of reformation pods, several beds, some refreshments, and a zoo employee to help them in case they are uneasy from the reformation.
The staff, much like the animals, are all different species and races, so if you are interested in applying for a job there all are welcomed. The zoo even accept those who wish to join the exhibits,either as an anthro among feral of there species or as an intelligent feral. The zoo has a process to accommodate either eventually and it is completely reversible if one has second thoughts.
Current employees:
Inktail_*: He was lucky enough to find this job shortly after coming to the park, though his bad luck has gotten him sent to the reformation chamber more then once. He mainly cares for the big cats.
Nita_*: Having lived in the park her entire life, she loved going to the zoo as a cub and now happily cares for the arctic wing of the zoo.
Malduran_: The small mana dragon came across the zoo and discovered they had a large herd of chocobos there. Having some experience with them in his old world, he got a job working with the birds.
Max_lightpaws: He was recently hired to help take care of the big cats along side Inktail, but unlike his coworker, he liked to be eaten by the animals, he even can convince them to not digest him.
Kaze_Usagi: The large bunny was more then happy to be a caretaker for the large land mammal area. Though she is still the hyper happy pred she is even on the job so if your a fox visiting the zoo, keep an eye out.
The Boss: Not much is really know about the boss, very few of the zoo's staff have ever met him face to face. One thing is for sure, he will not tolerate anyone who hurts the animals in his zoo or his employees.
OCC:
This is more of a setting character. The characters you encounter while in the zoo will usually be randomly generated. those i like will be added to the employee's list, so if you have an idea for a character please share.
