Malduran_

A small note

Read the OOC notes for details. They're important.

Very whisper friendly, so don't be afraid to poke me. Also, Malduran can be played in several different forms and either of the three genders. Feel free to ask or request various situations that you might want him/her/hir to do for you, as long as it's in my preferences, even if it's something that I haven't got or done before.

Also, please use third person when dealing with me. It really doesn't do my head any good if somebody comes up to me and uses first person (I.E. "I look at you and wag my tail.") Do not be offended if I ask if it's the player I'm dealing with if you do so or start acting like I'm dealing with a human rather than the actual charcter.

Good spelling and grammar is essential to playing with me. Don't be surprised if I turn you down because you don't seem to be able to present your writing well.

Update

Thanks to Rethen, Malduran now possess a one tailed kitsune form, which will be used interchanably with his normal, dragon self.

Physical description

Malduran is a small Mana Dragon, standing at around 3' 5", not including his tail or ears. He has an overly draconic shape to him and is warm blooded, but that's where the dragon-y parts to him end.

His back is covered in pristine white fur that shines in the light as it's looked upon, orange underbelly scales covering where the fur does not reach. Rather than a single pair of bat-like wings, he has two pairs of feathered wings, one pair sitting on his shoulders, the other behind, white like his fur, which fades into dark green, then into blue.

Strangely, despite being classed as 'Feral', this dragon walks mostly on his hind legs, and close inspection of his front 'feet' reveal fourth toes that seem oddly like thumbs.

A pair of sharp brown eyes gaze forwards, though they are rounded and not slitted like most dragon's eyes are. He has a tuft of, almost human, light brown hair on his head, between two almost equine ears which add another inch or so to his height. His muzzle is almost shaped like a beak with twin fangs poking out from the back. His fur extends into something like a ruff around his, quite short, neck, covering some of the scales on his neck, in a similar manner to the pokemon Ninetales.

His tail is thick with muscle and extends at least half his body length behind him, tapering off towards the tip and carries on the white fur and orange scales.

At first strange, but on second looks cute, this creature holds aspects of all three of mammal, reptile and avian in one.

Abilities

Form change

Thanks for a special dial from Mindy, Malduran has the ability to change forms. He can use this ability without having to pull out the dial to do so.

Gendershift

Malduran can turn female at will, in which case her white fur is a golden yellow, and the tuft of hair is long enough to tumble down her back to just between the upper wings, along with small endowments on the chest. Herm Malduran is a mix between the two, hir fur being a lighter yellow and hair being a little shorter.

Soul Eject

Malduran has quite a unique ability that his body has perfected. When on the verge of his body shutting down, his spirit will 'auto-eject', allowing him to craft a new body elsewhere, effectively abandoning the old one to whatever fate may await it. It is akin to waiting to respawn after being killed, and he may choose to 'respawn' at any time, follow his pred or somebody else as a spirit, or wander off on his own. To this end, Malduran will NOT participate in Soul Vore that ends in his soul being digested.
This also stops (most) evolution or changes to him, as his body is recreated afresh each time, and the old eventually is either digested, is broken down in some other way by his pred's body, or breaks down itself due to having no spirit inhabiting it.

Energy Manipulation

Malduran has demonstrated the ability to control energy around him, regardless of where he may draw it from, usually just from the air and ground around him. He is able to focus the energy into various effects.

Magic

Yes. As a dragon, Malduran can use magic. He can do just about any effects (usually making his body stretchy enough to accomidate prey or gendershifting), but there is a logical limit to any magical ability.

Kitsune Form

As a kitsune, Malduran's size doesn't change, but he loses his wings and his scales are covered over with white fur. Generally, he looks currently like an anthro arctic fox, missing any and all clothing. His tail is tipped with black, as if it'd been dipped in ink, but the rest is a pure, snowy white, like his normal fur colour.

Dragontaur Form

Thanks to a mask that he loaned from Fabhar, Malduran can change himself into a taur version of himself. In addition to gaining a taurbody, he loses his wings whilst in this state. Text is yellow in this form.

Background

Malduran hails from a quiet world that it's inhabitants call Gaia. All his life, he has only known peace and natural beauty around him, the only thing spoiling it being a lack of a father, whom he knows nothing about, only that he must have one somewhere. Thusly, he left his home quietly via a self created portal and, by some freak accident, winded up in the park. However, he was not to leave, though through his own choice rather than being forced.

Seeing that the park contained a lot of the beauty that he had known on Gaia, Malduran found a place to hide away during the nights and started to call the park home, as potentially dangerous a home it may be to one so small, but he quickly learned the ways of this new world, pushing his body to limits he never imagined that it had and further still. Settled, Malduran would never dream of leaving, and sees his future lying nowhere else.

Personality

Maldruan is generally quiet, calm and polite, if nervous sometimes... and quite naive, at times, and curious. He is, however, not completely stupid and will not walk into obvious traps.

I am whisper friendly, so don't be shy to ask for a scene in private.

Also, please do NOT come to me with fanboy/fangirl characters. Using a character based off a race or implied race from games/films/animes/whatever is fine, but do not come to me using a character whose details are exactly the same as one that's already been copyrighted. This goes double if you don't play them in a way that fits their actual personality. Thank you, and consider yourself warned. Pokemon/digimon and the like are exempt from this rule, but characters from the anime(s) are not. Exceptions made at my discretion.

Excepting that, I'm very open to invitations. Whisper me if you're up for some fun and a meal, or even if you're up to being a meal for a smaller pred. Player is of age, and surprisingly, so is his character.

Please understand that family may interrupt, and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can appease them. If this will be long enough to disrupt the RP, I will give notice, so please try to hang around until I get back.

Sliders do not show fixed preferences, and they can be talked about, can and WILL change as I think about stuff.
