If you dont' want to be either, you can easily have adventures and play with the students or staff going out to relax in the nearby French communities!
Monere Prepatory Academy is an illustrious place, considered to be one of the best private schools a girl can hope to attend. Founded by a Chinese Type dragon girl seventy seven years ago, it has maintained a sterling record of producing some of the most talented monster girls. Elite and prestigious, generally the only hope a monster girl has of attending is attracting the school's attention via one of several scholarship programs, or having a rich enough family to afford the tuition for attending. As for humans, well humans have an even harder time gaining entrance, and there scholarship opportunities seem to oddly enough, focus on their appearance, on their physical health and shape. Not very many humans seem to last to graduation either, even out of those few that manage to even gain admittance to the school in the first place...
Located on the Southern Coast of France, along the Mediterranean sea, it is quite close to Marseille, and most southern French towns thanks to how close everything is. However, Marseille is where most of the students go during weekends, holidays and such. The local communities have gained a bit more wealth and influence from the number of rich monster girls spending time around there and seeking entertainment, but feelings are still rather mixed. Some are quite happy, but others have noticed how sometimes people vanish around the more...predatory students. However, many European nations have a strong Monster Girl influence and France is no exception. As long as the majority of the population is safe and unbothered, the students occasional indulging is largely ignored.
So just what does Monere Prep cover? The answer is just about everything, it is a proper school, a Prepatory school. Prep schools typically cover high school, an elite high school to prepare the student for college, but Lanfen has gone a step further. Using another form of Prep school, the age for students ranges from eleven all the way to twenty, the full school course from eleven to eighteen, and then an additional two years of prep that count as college credits for most colleges across the world. Giving those who wish an opportunity to get an advance on college itself, or to simply head out once they have gotten their proper diploma. The Academy is a boarding school of course, students are housed and live on the academy grounds itself, often with a roommate, and have to follow multiple rules. Holidays and summer vacation the school itself graciously pays the fare to return the students home if they choose to return home, but the families must provide the fare to get there or back there, with gracious exceptions made for certain scholarship students.
1. The eating of staff is strictly forbidden, and the eating of fellow students is frowned upon.
A.Attempting to eat staff will result in immediate expulsion from the Academy Grounds.
B.Eating of a fellow student will result in a punishment varying based on the student.
a.Eating of Tuition students will typically result in a lesser punishment depending upon species.
b.Eating of scholarship students will be thoroughly investigated and harshly punished.
c.One may eat humans whenever they please as long as it is on school grounds.
d.Devour a Teacher's Pet at one's own risk.
2.While attending the academy, any violations of the law in the surrounding towns and cities will be suffered to the full extent of the law. Students do not get immunity from their actions while enrolled at Monere Prep.
3.While in an instructor's class their word is law.
A. Instructors may not force a student to feed themselves to them during class.
So what is life like in the academy? What is it like for the students? Well it is an actual proper school and there is an expectation for students to be on time, to appear for their classes and lectures and get good grades. The richer get a bit more leniency but one of the odd exceptions is...well. The school punishes tardiness far more harshly than it does absences. Thanks to the fact that this is a school full of predators and dominant personalities, the staff are completely aware that many times, a student may be abducted, eaten, enslaved, or otherwise. Depending on where they sit on the 'hierarchy' typically either three days will pass before an investigation is launched, or, if they are deemed unimportant, will be written as expelled after seven days have passed.
The Hierarchy itself is a strange beast, something students might have a difficult time learning. Scholarship students tend to have better protections and are more likely to result in a predator being punished for eating them. Several prominent species also receive a very high level of protection. Namely Dragons, Oni, 'Lovecraftian Entities' and Lamia or related get these high value protections. Devouring one of those is a swift way to find the faculty cracking down on you harshly, maybe even expelling you. Getting away with eating them is an extremely difficult feat. The totem pole goes all the way down to humans, who no matter how promising, do not have any protections in the school rules. None, whatsoever. Still there's a number of ways for them to get a better measure of safety, along with the many other species that attend Monere. Like clubs.
Monere has an almost Japanese approach to clubs and extracurricular activities. To whit, almost any student can try to form their own club for practically any topic. They just have to have four other students to join with them, a club must have five members, although the biggest clubs typically maintain a couple dozen at most times. Most students would be better off joining a club than making their own though. The reason is simple. A student who joins a club and proves useful to the members is a student with protection. Predators from other clubs or organizations run the risk of incurring the ire of that club, and potentially being devoured, humiliated, or enslaved. Of course, this requires the student to be able to contribute, and other students to be wary of drawing the ire of that club, but it's a bit safer than just becoming an individual predator's pet...if they have the talent.
Still, for some the club life just isn't for them, and that's fine. There's another way for a student to raise themselves up on the hierarchy. Endear themselves to one of the teacher's. Teacher's Pet is practically an official term at Monere. It refers to students who are the 'personal disciples' of a teacher. Sharice is known for loving to take such, although it's not always a good thing. If someone were to harm a teacher's pet, they run a serious risk of the teacher coming after them. They might ask for a replacement, make them the replacement, give them...'detention' or any number of things. They might even eat them, and the hierarchy provides significantly less protections in this place. Of course, a Teacher's Pet needs to keep the teacher satisfied and often have very high standards put on them. The best case scenario if they disappoint is being abandoned, and worst case well... they don't need to worry about protection anymore.

As a result it is far easier for monster girls to get a scholarship than humans, although some do slip through. Those humans tend to be ignored by the Headmistress who would much rather focus on her students. A wise and powerful dragon, Lanfen's compassion and willingness to listen is well known. Few have ever seen her get angry, and given the command of water that her species is supposed to have, few wish to see it given how old she must be, and how close to the sea they are. For the most part she is always willing to hear the complaints or concerns of any student, no matter how trivial, and is always there to encourage someone who is flagging behind...at least, if they're one of the Monster Girls. |

Head of Security | Madelaine Locke | Hellhound | 6' 6" | Tall, imposing, and formidable. Madelaine Locke and her pack of Hellhound Monster Girls are the 'security' on campus. There to keep the girls safe, the rules followed, and troublemakers off the grounds. Madelaine has a well deserved reputation for being fierce, cruel, and horny. Students can expect to get raped at the very least if she has reason to interfere in their affairs, and one of her favorite things to do is deal with girls who have gotten themselves 'expelled.' Oh she'll be expelling them alright. Still, while fierce and somewhat intimidating, she is here to help, and will answer any call of distress the students put out, provided that call is put out on the grounds, she is not allowed any jurisdiction outside the campus, much to her own disdain, not that that doesn't stop her from going out on occasion anyways. |

Head Maid | Amelia Jensen | Ogre | 9' 9" | At an academy built and designed to fit even the largest of monster girls, there is obviously a need for a capable cleaning staff. This is done by the maids, who while they range from a lot of species, are comprised mostly of fairies or very tall creatures like ogres, with a few more 'normal' sized between. Amelia is the head maid, in charge of all of them, and she's surprisingly good at her job for a nearly ten foot tall ogre. She's also incredibly friendly and well known for knowing where all the best places are in the surrounding cities for fun, food, and especially drink! When she's not working, she can often be found on the beaches, sometimes enjoying time with Crystal Bell. |

Head Chef/Instructor | Olive May | Pudding Slime | Varies | Olive May is the head chef, and in charge of all cooking at the academy. Why she even teaches the culinary classes for those interested in such! Despite her appearance, which is Peanut Butter Flavored, she is actually an amazing chef. One of the best in the world! She has long figured out how to clean her body for use during classes, and designed her own tools to ensure that her pudding like body doesn't spill into any of the food she's preparing. Anyone seeking to be a chef would be lucky to learn from her, and anyone attending from the academy merely has to sign up! This cheerful slime girl definitely has no issues teaching students, and loves to see people enjoy her food. |

Nurse | Ebony Wong | Yuki-onna | 5' 9" | The friendly, if rather sultry and flirtatious, nurse of the academy. Not the only nurse for sure, but the head of it. Some might find a Yuki Onna a strange choice for a nurse, but she is good at her job. She never has to worry about grabbing an ice pack for one! Aside from the cheap joke, she is a skilled doctor and even surgeon when called for, and is an expert on surgery in nearly every monster girl species known to man. Many students with dreams of being doctors or nurses have begged for her to be an instructor, but she is no instructor, and medical school is a completely different kettle of fish from Monere Prep's. Thus, they always get refused with a smile, but an invitation to help ease their disappointment...in her office. |

Librarian | Zhen Huifen | Ghost | 5' 5" | A spirit, and the main librarian. No one's sure about a lot of things about Zhen. She is a ghost, a spirit, one that haunts the academy grounds, and controls the whole of the library, yet where she's from no one's certain. Some say she was a lover from Lanfen's distant past, others say she was the only human to actually get hired by the Academy, and came back from death to keep serving her tenure after getting eaten. What is known is that she takes her job very seriously. No fighting is allowed in her library, and sex better not be up against a bookshelf! Still, she is very friendly if you follow those very simple rules, and of course, the best way to get on her good side, is give her a fuck herself. Surprisingly the ghost can make herself solid enough for that...or for eating if a student really misbehaves. |

Instructor | Anglea Lockwood | Moth Fairy | 1' 8" or 4' 7" | One of the few instructors who qualifies as a 'prey species' Anglea is nonetheless a valuable instructor. An instructor in literature, biology, and a couple language classes, she fills a lot of roles, as do many of the instructors in fact. While her species is naturally quite small, Anglea can, like some species of Fae, increase her size temporarily, although the result is still rather...unimpressive compared to most. It at least makes it harder for a hungry Frog Girl to try and snag a snack despite that oh so important rule! Being near the bottom of the staff 'food chain' Anglea is a bit nervous when not in class, although in class she is generally far more upbeat, mostly because then she can command pred species in the form of students and use some of her mischievous fairy magic if they disobey, and without repercussion provided its not permanent or hazardous! |

Instructor | Professor Fairbrook | Nekomata | 5' 2" | Professor Fairbrook is the resident teacher of the harder sciences, engineering, robotics, mechanical work, and some more general science too. She's considered a rather eccentric teacher, and in fact her 'daughter' if one can call them that, even attends the academy. Fairbrook has a fondness for talented students and is one of the more laidback with her pets, at least that's how the rumors go. She practically dotes on Mariabella and her daughter Celica, and her classes tend to be quite informative, even if Monere's student population is mostly focused upon magic. |

Instructor | Koizumi Isono | Human | 5' 8" | Most students are rather surprised to find that there's an actual human teacher in the academy, given how poorly they are thought of by the headmistress. However, it becomes clear quickly that Isono earned her position through some hard work and maybe some questionable circumstances. Many students try to push her, thinking that if the Duo can take down Selina, they can bully this human teacher. They are swiftly shown why Isono shares the role of 'combat and gym teacher' with Ruthann Hardiss, with whom she has a rivalry. Ruthann prefers snakes and strong predators as pets, while Isono is the opposite, and those pets are often pitted against each other. |

Instructors | Saraquiel and Neriah | High Angel and Fallen Angel | 6' 2" and 6' 0" | Religion is an extremely important thing. In the world of Monere at least, the gods are very provably real all across the world and this makes it an extremely common fixture. To this end, Monere has not one, but two instructors in theology and related subjects. The High Angel Saraquiel, and the Fallen Angel Neriah, one to teach the ways of the gods aligned towards benevolence, and one towards malovelence, with more neutral or indifferent gods divided between them. The two are naturally polar opposites in behavior and beliefs. However it is well known that they also share a faculty suite together in the main building, leading to all sorts of salacious rumors. |

Instructor | Blossom Harley | Mobile Alraune | 5' 7" | Plant girls capable of moving without being directly attached to a blossom or plant are definitely a rarity. However, Blossom is one such of those, and a teacher of History, language, biology, and general science. A common sight in the younger years due to the general subjects she can teach, and a rare one up above where high year students come to her for specialized courses, such as botany or herbology. A fairly sultry woman, Blossom does love inviting students to 'special' lessons, or punishing those who make the mistake of violating her rules. After all, she is nothing if not a fan of nectar. |

Instructor | Rasheeda | Shoggoth | Varies | One of the science teachers, Rasheeda is a most...bizarre teacher. Rasheeda isn't even her actual name but most monster girls and all humans would never be able to pronounce her actual name, or even understand it. She teaches some general science, a bit of literature with an emphasis on things like Lovecraft. However, her main classes are for high years, physics, chemistry, astronomy, Astrology, even a few courses on very advanced magic, although even natural magic users have a hard time qualifying for those lessons. It's hard to even pin down her personality, but no one's ever seen her angry, or even excited, merely amused. It's possible that those held after class, the common punishment for those who violate her rules might know, but even the toughest monster girls tend to pale when asked about it. |

Instructor | Sharice Costello | Mind Flayer | 6' 2" | One of the most varied teachers, Sharice is a valuable asset. She seems able to teach damn near any subject she wishes, and aside from a few focused courses, such as psychology and language, her class assignment is always made last, to fill in any gaps left. Either from other instructors not having time, or more students than usual requesting certain classes with no one else having a hole to fill. It makes Sharice an instructor that nearly every student will have a class with no matter what year they're in, and the Mind Flayer loves that. Offering private lessons to whoever interests her, and taking a special interest in the very intelligent, students always have to be on guard around Sharice. More than one student has stayed after class only to have to spend a few weeks in the infirmary, slowly recovering as their mind reels from the experience. No student has ever been permanently damaged by her actions, but that doesn't make it much better, and those she punishes sometimes seem to wish that there had been permanent damage, specifically to their memories. |

Instructor | Crystal Bell | Mermaid | 7' 4" | A teacher of music, fine arts, and a physical instructor, Crystal has an odd mix. The go to swim instructor for all physical education classes, but also an amazing musician, writer, and painter. Many rumors fly that she is actually of Mermaid nobility, but there is no proof of that, and it seems rather unlikely, no matter how talented she might be. Although one could be forgiven for thinking so from her behavior. Acting polite, refined and delicate, but always encouraging any student who comes to one of her many art classes to try their best, and no student has ever drowned in any of her swimming classes either. |

Instructor | Ellen Moore | Blue Slime | Varies | Ellen is one of the most cheerful and exuberant instructors at the academy, and her classes tend to reflect that. A sex ed teacher, Anatomy Instructor, and Biology professor, Ellen is firmly rooted in the sciences, all of which are ones in which she gets to call up 'volunteers' from the class while she uses her amorphous body to highlight and explain directly. Of course, when it gets to the innards it can get less fun but she still takes it on cheerfully. For her, almost every sex ed class is mealtime given how dependant her species is on sexual fluids, and punishments can be hard to differentiate from rewards. The only real change being how exhausted the student is after all is said and done. |

Instructor | Alexandra Rokeli | Manticore | 6' 2" | Monere teaches a wide variety of things, and is noted for its many...combat focused classes. Some other academies try to besmirch its name by calling it a glorified boot camp. However, there are many layers to conflict, and Alexandra is the instructor for classes that cover less...pleasant things. Assassination, espionage, covert actions, guerilla conflicts, and also computer programming classes. That definitely doesn't tie into sneaking into a facility and hacking it, definitely not. |

Instructor | Selina Estep | Anubis | 6' 2" | A teacher of history, language, mythology and geography, Selina provides a very focused set up of classes, that results in her having a busy schedule over the course of the average school day. Still she keeps up to her work generally cheerfully, or did. She is, alas the only teacher yet to have run afoul of the duo of Alba and Senaida. Humiliated and mummified in an actual sarcophagus. She is still an instructor and still teaching her classes, but when it comes to respect and influence, the students have lost a fair bit of respect for her since the terrible duo got to her, and a few students have wondered just how much more the two do to the Anubis behind the scenes, where others can't see. |

Instructor | Ruthann Hardiss | Hardiss Lamia | 37 feet | A member of the illustrious, and in some places infamous, Hardiss_Clan, Ruthann is a physical instructor. She is a sports coach as well and seems to know much about nearly every sport there is. Although naturally the academy does not involve itself with every sport. Rather laidback outside of class Ruthann becomes ruthless in. She pushes every monster girl to their absolute limit, to make sure that they are as physically capable and fit as they can possibly be. She also provides specialized physical classes for those interested in that particular field. |

Instructor | Ailene Pryor | Succubus | 5' 8" | As one might expect, Ailene teaches sex ed, but she also teaches the fine arts, music, painting, and literature, taking a bit of the burden off of Crystal's shoulders. Many would expect the sex ed to be her favorite, but surprisingly she runs that class rather normally, provided no students misbehave. Any that do, even slightly, have essentially volunteered to serve as an example, and she might well switch to a completely different kind of 'sexual education' just to make sure the punishment is suitably humiliating. More than a couple students have been seen to become enthralled pets for the remainder of their education at Monere Prep for going a bit too far in pushing the succubus. Well...at least they seemed to enjoy themselves during that time. |

Instructor | Yamasaki Tomomi | Five Tailed Kitsune | 5' 7" | At first glance one might mistake a lounging Yamasaki for a seven tailed kitsune. That is because she wears her hair very, very long, and styles it into twin 'tails' to give the impression of more than she has. OH yes, this fox eagerly wishes to get to the point of nine tails, but she's still a couple centuries off. Still, she's amiable enough, provided you don't tease her about the tails, and is the resident magic instructor, as well as teaching some language and literature. Most of her classes though, are magic. There are some rumors that she's jealous of Rasheeda for being able to give more advanced magic lessons than she, but they're probably baseless. |

Instructor | Naevys Yelbella | Elf | 5' 3" | Alchemy and chemistry are two fields that are two sides of the same coin, magic and science. It is these two fields, along with some general science and magic courses, that Naevys specializes in. An elf that looks young even by the standards of her species. A deliberate tactic, and likely a result of her alchemy. Naevys even sometimes goes walking among the student body masquerading as a student. The students who see a cute elf and try to take advantage...well they usually don't quite regret it but they're often left bewildered and wondering just what the hell actually happened. |

Instructor | Natassa Rokouli | Muse | 5' 11" | What would a muse teach if not the arts? A professor of literature, painting, sculpting and more. While she doesn't intrude upon Crystal Bell's dominance of music, she does help with that on years when they have a particularly large amount of such students. Natassa herself is an inspiring teacher, if it's not a lesson on the actual technicals of a particular style she'll often set the students on passion projects, inspiring them to really let their creative juices flow in all manner of interesting ways. |

Alba Dareen | Lich | 5' 1" | One of the two most infamous students at the school, Alba, along with her 'partner' Senaida. The two, in their several years of attending the academy, have garnered a reputation for humiliating students, and even a teacher, and in turn turning them into pets, slaves, and servants. They practically have their own little coterie of the broken and humiliated, firmly under their thumb. Alba herself takes a sadistic delight in figuring out the best way to humiliate someone. Finding the most ironic, humiliating, degrading, or all of the above to break someone in and make them understand their place in the world. She absolutely loathes the Three Queens, and has been planning for awhile on how to break those bitches and show them that no Monster is superior to a Lich. |

Senaida Quorona | Gazer | 4' 8" | The partner of Alba Dareen, Senaida doesn't have quite as personal reasons for what she does. For her, there's just something delightful in taking someone and having them kneeling down in front of her. Where Alba wants to show people their place, Senaida just wants to enjoy the fruits of breaking someone down into an obedient slave. As a Gazer, she has a vast command of magic, perhaps equal to Alba herself, and each of her eyes is supposedly capable of doing something different. None of the duo's pets have ever spoken about what those might be though, and some get rather frightened when they're asked. Although, really all they'd have to do is ask, Senaida would be happy to show them just what she's capable of. |

Clara Greene | Elf | 5' 5" | One of the first that the duo humiliated, roughly two years ago. Clara is smart, talented, and beautiful, as elves are typically portrayed by nearly everyone. That made her an excellent target, and one day, they caught her, bound her, and had her displayed atop the school fountain on a weekend for everyone to see, and made a special show of making her beg for food, not letting her down until the weekend was over. The experience was particularly...humbling, and Clara, while still excelling in class, has grown much humbler, and meeker. She is often seen following just behind one of the duo, ready to serve them however they wish, whenever they ask, and oh they do so enjoy making her perform demeaning and humiliating tasks, and love it when people ask them if she can do something! |

Celia Todd | Cyclops | 6' 1" | Rather nerdy for a Cyclops, and not quite as tall as they can sometimes get, Celia generally kept to herself. She did however, do one thing wrong...she pissed off Senaida. No one's really sure how, although one of the popular rumors is that she won a staring contest with the girl, but that's just silly. Why would shy Celia get into a staring contest with the Gazer? Whatever the reason, one day she was absent for class, only to be found the next morning, tied up and bound in bed, sweaty and exhausted. Ever since then, she's grown even shyer, and is often seen crawling next to Senaida, a collar around her neck and a leash in the Gazer's hand. Sometimes she's following Alba, but it seems clear that she is more Senaida's pet than Alba's. |

Elisa Dunn | Centaur | 6' 4" | Did you know one of the Three Queens had a cousin attending the school with her? Alba and Senaida knew, and as part of their ongoing war with them, Alba orchestrated a complete humiliation of the cousin of Jaime Vega. Poor Elisa Dunn found herself waylaid during a weekend, taken to an actual stable and then 'bred' repeatedly. Fortunately no actual pregnancy arose from this, but it has had a profound effect on the girl's behavior and attitude. There's no proof that Alba and Senaida are responsible of course, and well Monster Girls do tend to go a lot further with things that would make even humans shudder, but even this? Well, the war has grown a tad more heated since this happened, especially with people seeing Elisa used as a mount whenever Alba and Senaida feel 'too tired to move on their own.' |

Dianne Morales | Gorgon | 19 feet long | Dianne is the only Gorgon at the school, and used to be neutral. Then, one day she got pissed and did something few have ever done. She got one up on the Duo. Specifically, she turned Alba to stone. It didn't last long, Senaida managed to free her, and just a week later, there was an 'open house' in the city, where every man and woman that wanted could see what it was like to have a Gorgon without risk of getting turned to stone! It surely put the snake in her place, and she has been far more obedient. Something the duo rather enjoy doing with their pet gorgon is having her turn people to stone, and since Alba's taken over monitoring her, why there's never been an accidental petrification since! |

Tasha Salazar | Werewolf | 5' 7" | Once, Tasha looked on her way to making the Three Queens into Four Queens. Strong, Athletic, friendly, and very vicious when she got angry, Alba and Senaida decided they didn't need a fourth opponent in their war for the school. So, they took her down a peg, let her spend a few days in one of Alba's lovingly crafted torture devices, and after that? She was still strong, still Athletic, but she was no queen now, but rather, the duo's own little pet dog. |

Jaime Vega | Centaur | 6' 1" | One of the Three Queens, the girls considered to be at the very top of the academy. Considered to be the smartest, fittest, and most capable. Jaime fits that well. She used to attend a human school, but her sheer athletic ability was able to win her a scholarship. Her grades are good, nothing great for sure, but when it comes to physical ability she simply excels, particularly in speed. Even by centaurs she is considered fast, and some rumor that she could race with a car. Whether there's any truth to that is unknown, and even then it depends on the type of car. Jaime herself pays little attention to the rumors, her focus is entirely on her education...and on bringing down the Twin Bitches, as she calls the duo of Alba and Senaida. What they did to her cousin quickly comes to her mind if she even thinks they've been mentioned, and she's always wanting an opportunity to get just one of them alone. Tamara Casey | Praying Mantis | 5' 10" | One of the few insect class girls at the academy, Tamara nonetheless does her group of monster girls immense credit. Smart, cool, collected, and perhaps the best swordsman in the school. She is nearing graduation though, and when she goes, the Three Queens might well go down to two. She, unlike many predator species, keeps no pets, for it is against her nature. Those few who tried early in her arrival at the academy well...they were eaten. She is a proper predator, and does not believe in pets, or stringing prey along for anything other than food. She also pays the duo very little attention. Her only reason for interest is in Jaime's vendetta against them. Had Jaime never gotten such fury, it is possible that Tamara would never even glance at the Lich or Gazer. |

Kono Mana | Oni | 5' 4" | When one thinks of Oni, they tend to think of large, intimidating creatures, multiple horns, great muscles, wielding clubs. However, what people often forget is that many different things used to be called Oni, and not all Oni are the same. Kono herself is perhaps the main reason why the Duo haven't actually gone after the Three Queens directly yet. A powerful, demonic spirit, Kono is both magically and physically capable, and seems to take a delight in pain. Of the Three Queens she's taken more pets than the other two, although that's not hard given Tamara takes none, but her pets, well they might have been better off risking eaten if even half of what she's rumored to do to them is true. Just how much is is uncertain. Kono, no matter how cruel and sadistic she might be, only truly plays with her pets behind closed doors, and her roommate, Tamara, tells nothing. With her around, any discussion on which of the Three Queens is THE queen is rather short. The other two are impressive, but they can't quite compare to Kono Mana. |

Vivian Reed | Lamia | 14 feet | Vivian is an up and coming girl of the academy. Fairly young, and in her Sophomore year, Vivian is a talented swimmer, and generally fairly intelligent in her other classes. She is often found working with Yvonne on Synchronized Swimming, and is indeed the captain of that particular 'club.' Which cannot become a team as there's just not enough schools that focus on that for it to be a proper sport of any kind. That doesn't stop Vivian from continuing her practice in that regard, and even more notably is just how friendly she is. She, like Yvonne seems to be friends with everyone at the academy, and seem to know just about everyone's business. Sometimes without even intending to! |

Yvonne Silva | Mermaid | 6' 9" | Yvonne is simply...one of the most popular girls in school. Head cheerleader, good at her classes, and immensely, incredibly cheerful. If the Three Queens weren't around she would likely be top dog around, well if they vanished and she actually cared about it. Yvonne seems to simply want to have fun, to enjoy herself with her students, get her education and then get out into the world. That she is waterbound has not stopped her much, and during sporting events, the cheerleaders are often seen wheeling out a moderately sized pool, so that Yvonne can join in. She is also close friends with Vivian, and spends a good bit of extra time helping Vivian with Synchronized swimming. |

Misty Murray | Mimic | Hard to say | Mimics are a particularly strange and unusual breed of Monster Girl. Misty is no exception, how she gets her chest around no one's really sure. It just seems to glide along the corridors, and she has been seen using the elevators rather than the stairs. What is known is that while she can temporarily emerge from her Chest, no one's ever actually seen her do it, and thus has no idea what her legs look like or how tall she is. What they do know is that she's very rarely without her laptop, and when not online or in class, often tries to trick new students into investigating that strange chest. She rarely eats any of them...unless they're human or prey species, but few get away without a few hours rumbling around the chest. |

Violet Luna | Echidna | 19 feet | Violet Luna long ago earned herself the nickname 'Violent' Luna. Sure she seems calm at first, so calm that many think there's something wrong with her, but that's because she's well...medicated. On four separate occasions in her five years at the academy she's forgotten, lost, or in one case had her meds stolen. The result was...well the Head of Security was needed, and a good few students were hospitalized, those who weren't eaten. Fortunately no important students have been eaten, and the nurse keeps careful track of her meds, and of Violet herself. Ultimately, the Echidna just wishes to get through school, and even the Duo are hesitant to tangle with someone like her, a testament to just how violent those past incidents were. |

Joann Grant | Dullahan | 5' 1" | Joann is perhaps the best violinist in the academy and perhaps the best it's ever seen. It's just a shame that she has both a problem with authority, and a very snarky, sarcastic attitude. More than once Ailene has found the girl broken into the music room to practice as she wished, completely regardless of anyone else's schedule for that day, and she has a tendency to skip classes to attend 'extra' music lessons to. It' gotten her punished...a lot, but the academy doesn't expel over this, although at this rate it's only a matter of time before a more drastic punishment is taken to the talented violinist. |

Elsie Dixon | Blue Slime | Varies | While the same species as Instructor Moore, the two are not related. Although they do share similar qualities. Elsie is...essentially the academy bicycle. Her species does survive on sexual fluids, and so she's often and easily found having sex with students, teachers, people in the city, and so on and so forth. Her species is just known for their sexual tendencies, perhaps even more than succubi, and Elsie sees no reason to deny that, given that denying that would be starving herself! New students often tend to get her attention, at least for one night, although it takes something interesting to keep her coming after just the one night...like say, a refusal. The few who did that often get a focus from the blue slime...that often ends with her grabbing them somewhere regardless of their wishes. |

Gwendolyn Sandover | Dryad | 5' 5" | A Dryad at the academy has happened only twice in the academy's history, but Gwendolyn bumped it to a third. The main reason is how difficult it is, given that a Dryad is attached to a tree. The tree is destroyed they die, they can't go too far away. So, Gwendolyn had to have her tree actually uprooted and moved all the way to Monere Prepatory, not the easiest of tasks, but she is remarkably intelligent, especially for the normally tribal and ritualistic dryad species. However, she still has limits, and has almost never gone beyond the Academy grounds, as she simply...doesn't have that reach. She can go further than just the academy but only by an extra mile or two, and so she sees no point, and just stays in. Still, being friendly and rare, friendly students often bring her things from the places she can't go to, something she is greatly appreciative of. |

Mamie Banks | Arachne | 5' 3" | One would expect an arachne to be cruel, and while some of the others are sadistic, sultry and so forth, Mamie is definitely not. A tuition student from a noble family out in Eastern Europe. She is the epitome of kindness and gentility, and has more 'pets' than any other pred species at the school. Why, Mamie almost seems to have a cult built around her. Although, it just seems odd, she has so many pets, that just seem so devoted to her...and a pet seems to vanish every couple of months. The clever predators among the school seem to even regard her with envy, but surely there could be nothing malicious behind Mamie's kind, gentle smiles. |

Joy Powell | Cactus | 5' 9" | One of the odder additions to the student body, Joy is...a cactus. That's just all there is to it. She is friendly, has good grades, and even partakes in a couple sports...and every now and then one of the scholarship students she was friends with vanishes and a second cactus girl joins the student body about three months later. As of present, four other cactus girls have joined the school since Joy enrolled, and the other predators aren't quite sure what to make of it. |

Lynette Brady | Dragon | 5' 2" | A dragon girl, Lynette is firmly in predatory territory, even if she is here on scholarships. With the way the world has progressed not...all dragons were able to maintain wealthy positions of nobility, and Lynette's family is one of those. As such it has left her unsure how to respond to other preds, actual nobles, or 'higher ranking' dragon girls. she is determined though, intending to get the money, wealth and influence to ensure her family becomes a proper draconic family once again! That's...a long ways to go though, she's only in her Freshman year after all, and is starting to blossom as what may be a beautiful dragon. |

Celeste Rauch | Phoenix | 4' 9" | Barely into their freshman year, and perhaps one of the most prestigious students at the academy. Celeste is a phoenix, one of those legendary birds of fire, rebirth and renewal! She had been good friends with Lanfen before...well she was reborn, and that requires completely new growth and education, so her family had Celeste sent to Lanfen's academy! She remembers very, very little of any past lives, but is still very grateful to Lanfen, and takes to her studies and classes with a remarkable, fiery zeal! She's not talented in every area, seeming to focus heavily on some physical activities, and a couple random subjects, but with her sheer determination, she's an admirable student by any accounts! |

Cecila Herzog | Human | 5' 6" | Cecila is one of the few humans who passed the scholarship classes, and well, it's a tad nerve wracking to say the least. She joined for a simple reason and a determined one, and that was to get the knowledge to become a Lich! Perhaps unsurprisingly, the girl is very reserved and cautious around others...except for Alba, the Lich she wants to be. Cecila is often seen following the Lich around pleading for help, tutelage, offering to serve or help, and on a few occasions, Senaida has used her. However, Alba herself just seems to find the witch a pathetic source of amusement, not even worth adding to the Coterie. Still, what little attention she has gotten, and her own caution has allowed her to survive the academy for now. |

Rachel Allen | Lillith-Class Devil | 4' 4" | Despite their size, Rachel is actually a lot older than she looks, not that everyone knows that. She takes a gleeful delight in disguising herself as a normal girl and then playing cruel jokes on humans in the cities, or new students who don't know better. Oh yes she puts that fiendish, tricksome demonic magic to good use, and has humiliated nearly as many people as the Sinister Duo, if not too quite as long lasting effects. She has managed to avoid their own tricks though, and considers herself independant, which is why she hasn't joined any groups or clubs. |

Katrina Cain | Alraune | 5' 2" | A rare Alraune, Katrina is a friendly girl, and may well be the primary reason for why a few other Alraune have started sprouting up in the parks in the cities. Almost as sleazy as Elsie, she nonetheless has some standards. Mostly revolving around how strong or magically capable someone is, which most monster girls pass on that inspection. When it comes to fun with her, you're either giving her food, or helping her pollinate, with no in between. The girl herself doesn't go outside of campus tooo much. She can leave her flower for short periods, but usually by the end of a school day she needs to head back. Thus fun outside the walls waits for weekends. |

Yuonne Amaral | Gumiho | 5' 3" | Many would mistake Yuonne for a kitsune at first glance, but no she is not that. Otherwise she wouldn't have nearly as many tails. She is a different species, a Gumiho, a more malevolent type of fox. One that gained a human form by feeding upon humans and human souls. Thus her tails are not a measure of her magical power at all, but merely a part of her appearance! As a Gumiho, she is cruel, malicious, and enjoys eating humans, and prey students, and has eaten quite a few. However, she is young, in her sophomore year, and hasn't come into her powers completely. As such she tends to avoid other predators, not trusting them even with the rules in place. Madelaine keeps a close eye on her, if anyone's going to wind up violating the rules on staff or pred species students, it will be her who tries...probably. |

Merle Lu | Queen Bee | 6' 3" | An example of true blue royalty, Merle is destined to become the queen of her own hive. It makes her a rare bee girl capable of learning, independant thought and such, which is sort of why her mother kicked her out here. Oh her home hive is ensuring that she gets a good education and funding her, but Merle rarely heads home for holidays or otherwise. She does however, offer honey to pretty much wherever she wants it, and during spring and summer even has a few drone type bee girls accompanying her...they tend to get eaten very quickly. Students are not allowed serving staff even if they're their own children, and Madelaine greatly enjoys enforcing this rule on the future Queen. |

Taketa Yoko | One tailed Kitsune | 4' 9" | Another young student, she is just into her Freshman year, despite her petite appearance. Something she is quite insecure about. Other girls her age at least have something down there, and she seems willfully blind to older students like Joann who are just as flat. Her one tail gives her some minor illusion powers, which she uses to get away from those who have tried to take her...under their wing so to speak. She's tried getting a few pets herself but she doesn't really...have the age or influence. Everyone knows where a one tailed kitsune stands, pred or no, and it's in pred territory...but as close to the bottom as you can get. |

Arenoris | Sylph | 5' 2" | Perhaps the single most curious student at the school. Just what is Arenoris? A sylph, where is she from? Somewhere in...Eastern Europe, most theorizing near Greece. What even is a sylph? They're practically unheard of, and most just think of it as a synonym for fairy, and while they are perhaps related, they are not the same. Sylphs are much rarer, often guardians of very important locations to magic, and bordering on being pure elementals of wind. Thus, it is no surprise that Arenoris is a tuition student, although no one can pinpoint where she's from, and what her role or rank over there is. According to Yvonne she's 'not supposed to talk about it.' Although the Sylph seems friendly enough, willing to talk about other things, and even spend time with a fellow student, she's just...rather aloof. |

Jane Ysolt | Gargoyle | 6' 3" | One of the stronger preds at the academy, Jane isn't often seen by the rest of the student body. She is a naturally nocturnal creature, not the only one, there's roughly thirty seven at the academy that follow a similar pattern, including three vampires. Jane knows this, as Jane has counted. Gargoyles like her tend to be very observant, and very dangerous in combat. For nocturnal students like herself, a special 'evening' schedule is arranged, ranging from late night to early morning, dividing their classes into two blocks. Jane quite enjoys it, but she does sometimes move about during the day, such as during weekends or just before evening or after morning. Otherwise, she can be found 'decorating' one of the buildings. She has a room but...she almost never uses it. Some have taken to calling her the 'Night Queen' due to the fact that in a school tournament a year ago, she actually managed to fight Tamara Casey to a standstill, resulting in a double elimination. |

Edna Collins | Wasp | 5' 7" | Another insect girl, one would think Edna and Merle would have some common ground. However, Edna seems almost to despise t he bee. It could perhaps be the difference. While Merle is a pred species, actual bees are not much of one, while both the Wasp type monster girls, and actual wasps devour others, specifically other insects. That she can't devour the queen seems to almost offend her. Still she spends little time around most, a very aloof and cold figure, the only real socializing she does is her frequent challenging of Tamara, to date she has not won a single fight. Were she not a tuition paying pred student, Tamara probably would have...disposed of her by now. Still, despite the record of losses, Edna is a very skilled combatant, one of the better at the school just...not on the level of the Three Queens. |

Isadorer Siska | Owl Harpy | 5' 5" | One of the 'Nocturnal' students. Isadorer actually has a few day classes, a very small few. Mostly out of necessity and that she's one of the few nocturnal students that can function during the day. She attends the first two periods before lunch, and then her other classes are before that, during the early morning block. A fairly friendly predator, Isadorer is generally considered a very good monster girl to be a pet to, a shame she doesn't really take those. She has one, and she doesn't want more than one, and that one pet is more of a friend. Only the fact that she's a pred has the other preds make the distinction, and the fact that those two are in fact in a relationship. The owl herself isn't too talkative if you do manage to catch her. It's almost like she's a tad shy or nervous around other folk. |

Gima Machiko | Frog | 4' 7" | Gima is an odd one. A scholarship pred, so a bit lower on the totem pole, but still a very capable predator at that. She tends to like to tease people, as if trying to goad someone into trying to eat her. No one's sure why, why she just pushes everyone's buttons, tries to goad, taunt and tease. She herself never answers except in a way to piss them off. Few take the bait, and there are rumors that she actually got a serious punishment, for eating one of the few predators to actually let her goad them into a frenzy. |

Ernestine Saunders | Human | 5' 7" | Another of the very few humans to actually manage to attend the academy. Ernestine is beautiful, with nice, modest curves to her. One would expect her to either be a meal or a pet very quickly, yet somehow she's managed to avoid both. Perhaps it is that she is a rare human that could actually pay tuition, if humans didn't have to use the scholarships. Perhaps it's that her family is descended from a long line of monster hunters, back when humans and monster girls did not quite live so peacefully. Although, if she is descended from such, as some think, why would she attend an academy for monster girls? It would at least explain her agility and skill, although some claim she must have at least a little elvish blood for that. Still, the human can be seen getting along well with the friendlier students, although she never quite seems to stick around when a more malicious predator shows up. |

Veja Phebur | Ram | 4' 11" | Veja is distinctly in the prey category, and the scholarship at that. What that means is that this sweet, friendly and just all too kind girl is basically free game when she doesn't have an owner. She did have an owner, she was someone's pet but that student was...well they were unfortunately older than her. That student has graduated. That leaves Veja, this poor little lost lamb all on her own. She really needs to find someone else to own her, in her preference someone kind, but at Monere Prep there are no guarantees. She might well find someone cruel, or find herself being made into a meal. Veja can only hope she'll at least find a way to scrape by and continue her education. With no magic or combat, she really doesn't have much else going for her but being a pet! |

Elizabeth Lugard | Vampire | 5' 8" | One needs only hear Elizabeth's name to realize why she is not seen among the day classes. Strictly nocturnal, Elizabeth has less exposure than even Jane! The best times to see her around are in the Winter, when she has more freedom and hours to move about during the 'normal' hours by how diurnals see it. She is rather friendly though, enjoying casual conversation with her fellow predators, and she's even quite friendly to prey students, very friendly in fact..even if some prey students wake up not quite remembering what happened. Her species after all, while predatory, is not necessarily lethal. |

Sully Grace | Werewolf | 5' 11" | A fierce and territorial girl, Sully stepped up to become a major leader in the school's sports scene, filling in the gap left by Tasha suddenly having...other things to do. She doesn't seem to quite have the potential Tasha did, but she's fierce, very protective of her 'pack' and is still a capable and skilled athlete that has helped the school's reputation and performance. |

Isabel Hess | Faerie | 5' 3" | Isabel is one of the more mischievous girls at school, although one couldn't easily figure that out. She is a model student, and even a member of the band! She's also rather well connected, and is a strong source in distributing many of Yvonne's rumors...and some say she's even started some herself. There's a small contingent of the school, that doesn't get very far thanks to Isabel's friends, that think there's more going on. Why one foolish person even had the nerve to claim Isabel had helped instigate some of the feud between the Duo and the Queens! Very foolish indeed, although they seemed to change their tune rather quick. |

Amlaruil 'Boatlights' Holosatra | Elf | 5' 4" | One of the odder elves at school. Amlaruil doesn't fall into the category of elves that are either obviously predatory or obviously dangerous. However, while few people realize it. She is actually both tuition paid, and a predator at that...merely a predator who never exercises her abilities. However, it looks like that's going to change soon. Once she hung out with the prey students, willingly being a punching bag to keep preds away from them but now? Now, seemingly overnight, she has become a member of the Junior Varsity cheerleaders, the 'protege' to Sanatrix herself. She's cut all ties with her old friends, and just hangs out with the cheerleaders. It's easy to assume she's just ditched them for the popular crowd, but when one looks carefully there's something...broken in her eyes. |

Aphra Pryce | Half-Dragon | 5' 8" | A girl who used to be human, a Warlock with an unknown patron. Things have changed since she was taken under the wing of Mitsuba. Since then? Well she's not a prey girl anymore, but a proper predator, albeit a halfbreed. It's not something she's entirely used to yet but it hasn't seemed to change her personality drastically. She's still by and large the same girl, not much for talking, a girl who likes to live by the creed 'Actions speak louder than words.' |

Kessho | Crystal Golem | 5' 2" | Another of Mitsuba's little posse of three pets, all of them predators, none of them having used to be. Admittedly most people have no idea who Kessho used to be, and apparently the process of becoming a predator erased her mind, leaving a new, naive little golem completely loyal to Lady Ueno. She's a unique specimen at that, and a dangerous thing to deal with. As she's learned she's gained a very strong appreciation and fascination with sex, something her abilities only help her explore. |

Asta Dinesan | Catgirl | 5' 4" | A predator of the school who's well known, but not for any level of power. She's what most classify as a 'lower pred.' She doesn't have any magical ability, she's not super strong like a tiger or panther or anything. She's just a good natured, friendly girl. She is an active predator, but she has to be a lot more careful and discreet with who she goes after, because any human with serious training could pose a serious risk. Other than that though? She's also one of the 'suppliers' at the school. Need a fake ID? She might know someone who could get you one. Drugs, alcohol, the list goes on. It keeps her in good standing despite her weakness compared to other preds. |

Surigar | Succubus | 6' 1" | Succubus are some of the more dangerous predators for the prey students to hang around, and for good reason. Sanatrix herself being an infamous and clear cut example. Surigar is dangerous in other ways though. Very few people ever get eaten by her, as she's a moreclassical type, feeding on people's sexual energies over their bodies. It just lets her enjoy them longer, alas her methods do tend to degrade the mind. Her many pets might get safety, and she's so good at motivating them to do a good job and keep in the academy but it's very unlikely that any of them will be mentally able to approach their adult life without her. Sometimes she jokes that she'll just have to take her pets with her for their own good. If one could call it a joke. |

Boyka Radulova | Human | 5' 7" | Boyka is a witch, a more specific type of magic user, and a successful one. She's been at Monere since she was thirteen and so far she's managed to avoid being eaten. Not by cuddling up to a strong girl either. Boyka is famous for being laid-back, agreeable with predators about what they do to others, and also using herformidable powers to turn anyone trying to fuck with her into objects that she'll usually share around campus before turning back (at the Academy's insistence of course). It's been enough to earn her respect from other predators (grudgingly or no) and it seems as if she'll manage to keep this up perhaps until graduation. |

"Beetlejuice" | Unknown | 4' 2" | One of the stranger girls, and a new face at the Academy. No one is really sure what Beetlejuice is, other than 'probably' a demon. In fact, no one actually knows what her name is. The staff probably do, but they aren't talking, not even Alba's Teacher Pet. Beetlejuice is just the joke that the girl tells people to call her, and no one is fooled. Obviously her name is something very important, and there are quite a few people who would like to know. Not just prey students, she loves to 'prey' upon them, haha, but she's stepped on more than a few predatory toes as well, seemingly without any of them able to get back at her in any meangingful way. People are worried that it's only a matter of time before she stirs up the Duo or the Three Queens. |

Nereza | Unknown | 5' 11" | A friend of Beetlejuice, and anyone could tell you that any friend of that devious imp is just as dangerous and troublesome. Nereza is similarly unknown, although her origins are a bit easier to pinpoint. She's clearly extraplanar, with potentially some kind of draconic influence. The runes on her shoulderbands were pinpointed as part of the 'Language of Angels' from a far flung plane, and that marks her as...very dangerous at the least. Still she's friendly enough, not as given to pranks as Beetlejuice. She is though, very aggressive about what she wants, and doesn't really care about other people's boundaries, especially not the boundaries of prey species. |

Jeanne Choffard | Shapeshifter | Varies | Not to be confused with a changeling, Jeanne is a specific type of extradimensional being with no actual solid, pinned down form. Although the one pictured above is her default and what most people believe is her natural form. She can turn into almost anything, objects, people, monsters, and even replicate abilities. It makes her a difficult to deal with girl, and more than one woman has found herself indisposed by Jeanne only to have the shapeshifter ruin their reputation and career for some perceived slight. Sometimes she does it just for fun too. |

Mura Teguro | Spawn of the Black Goat | 5' 9" | Mura is one of the stranger figures at the school, and one of the only true friends prey students have. She genuinely stands up for prey, without actually any deliberate plans to take advantage of them. She defends them, takes them under her wing, even trains them so they can stand up for themselves. She'll even help them find ways to change their species and become predators themselves fully removing the risk of their tragic death at the hands of fellow students, although not removing all risk entirely. She has made many enemies, but her eldritch nature has managed to keep her relatively safe. |

Endrina | Silver Dragon | 6' 1" | The academy was not prepared when three Silver Dragons simply transferred in out of the blue, all of them friends too, a clearly deliberate move and one that's put quite a few students off guard. Endrina is the leader of the trio, the eldest and probably the strongest. Studying a mix of classes, she's skilled in artifice, magic, and combat, with classes reinforcing those as well as a few classes to help deal with areas she's more...lacking in, mostly things like math or science, chemistry in particular gives her a headache. |

Chevyren | Silver Dragon | 5' 3" | Silver Dragons are predators, and dragons in particular are known for their power, and this puts the trio in a strong position. However, metallic dragons are known for being benevolent and kind, some even refusing to feed on prey. Chevyren does this viewpoint no favours, and has already made something of a name for herself, casting 'amusing' spells on predator's she's spotted abusing Prey. While she doesn't actively seek such things out like Mura, she seemingly has no tolerance for it where she can see it, taking it as a point of pride to be unable to turn her back on the weak in need. She specializes very heavily in magic, not as gifted in combat as her two peers, often relying on them for more physical confrontations. |

Hesynty | Silver Dragon | 5' 7" | Some are worried that Mura will suddenly find herself with brand new, potent allies, in her quest to champion the 'little girl' on campus and aid prey in protecting themselves from predators. Hesynty does this viewpoint no favours, she's a friendly, cheerful gal with a clear naval orientation, combat, a bit of magic, navigation, sailing, and more. She has a clear love of the sea and water, and her open and bright personality has led to her making a few friends rather fast, almost all of them prey. Micheline Simon | Human | 5' 5" | There's a fair few prey students who stand out for being tougher than old leather. Micheline though, is probably one of the toughest. Micheline also stands out for being...actually French. Thanks to Monere's prestige and appeal, there's actually not many locals in the school. Micheline thoughw as born and raised in France and came to attend. She's also gotten a reputation as a feisty thing without any magic. Her tools are...entirely scientific, as are the subjects she studies, beyond a few combat classes for self defense. This also leads to a lot of the tougher predators not knowing quite how to deal with her. Magic that can turn you into a dildo? Child's play. A woman with gloves that zap you so hard you piss yourself? Well how the fuck does that work? |

Ada Shoumaru | Tengu | 5' 3" | The head of the newspaper club, Ada is renowned as a woman who has no respect for privacy, no decency or understanding of limits or personal space. She is an extremely capable journalist, with a knack for sniffing out a story and finding all kinds of interesting things. Her stories are almost always very accurate as well but...she'll also publish practically anything. Salacious affairs between a student and an adult on the outside? She'll run it. Embarrassing pictures of the hellhounds getting pampered and washed at a petshop? She'll run it. A story revealing Alba Dareen's most embarrassing secret?! She'll run it...once and then mysteriously never talk about her again unless it's an extremely prominent and public story. Most people, no matter how offended or humiliated, just can't seem to get their hands on her. No one's quite sure how she does it, but in her own words. "It's just not a fair comparison. You see these cheekbones? Aerodynamically suited for speed." |

Ida Solberg | Human | 5' 11" | There are humans who are powerful, like Boyka, humans who are dangerous and violent like Micheline, and then there is Ida Solberg. She does not have the strange, sci-fi like tech of Micheline, nor any real magical power. What she has though, is tenacity. The thing she is most known for is also the reason she's received a personal talking to from the hellhounds, and anyone who has experienced that knows just how tenacious the girl must be to not change a bit. Tranq guns, pellet guns, home made explosives, knives, anything she can possibly do to avoid getting eaten, she has a hundred dirty tricks up her sleeve and is seemingly always on guard. Many are convinced she keeps a vial of ipecac on her person at all times in case she does get eaten, but no one's been able to find it, even after she's actually made predators throw her back up. |

Tanigawa Tazu | Kitsune | 5' 0" | There is a rather strong community of yokai at the academy. Tanigawa Tazu is one of the strongest. She is a seven tailed kitsune, putting her in a position of very high status, and a huge field of questions and rumors for how the hell she even has that many. Of course the girl herself is sweet and polite and very kind...but people who slight her tend to wind up vanishing, if only for a few days if they're a predator. Some people have bought into her polite demeanour so much though, that there's a persistent rumor that someone else is actually doing that for her, even without her knowledge. |

Yamaoka Kiyo | Uncertain | 4' 8" | Many of the religious figures of Monere have had contentious careers and a long list of conflicts. Nothing divides quite like religion. It is not helped that many predators either oppose the 'good' gods, or outright worship or serve more evil gods or similar powers. The Spiritual Enrichment Club has always had a serious issue with dealing with the predators, and has always been mostly prey, making it a tempting target for attacks. The Shrine Maidens of the school found themselves mostly flocking to it for some fleeting defense and their leaders were frequently isolated and devoured, to the point where they started trying to hide who was the leader. Then Yamaoka Kiyo stepped up to lead. She seemed like just another human, if a dangerous one. The first sign that something was wrong was the hellhounds banging down someone's door after they'd, supposedly, eaten her only for Kiyo to walk in the room after them, to the surprise of the hounds and the student who was just saved a trip down the gullet of the hounds. No one is sure what she is, just that she is classified as a predator. Even her fellow miko seem somewhat uncertain around her. |

Maylin Erjor | Half-elf | 5' 1" | Maylin would be a fairly unremarkable student. She's on tuition, she's a half-elf, she gets good grades, and hasn't really done much to stand out. The only reason anyone knows who she is is because of the strange culture she comes from. She hails from a curious part of the world far out to the South-East of France that holds many strange ideals and thoughts about humans, dragons, elves and other monsters. In that part of the world, many so called predator species, so often used to acting in charge, are raised to serve. Maylin would have likely died many times over thanks to not fully understanding that the big bad predators were not servants, submissive, or even remotely deferential, were it not for her maid. |

Toshlish | Crown Dragon | 6' 1" | In Monere, students are not allowed to have servants, no matter how rich or noble you are, you can't bring your maid. At least, in theory. However, there is a simple loophole that has allowed Toshlish to follow Mistress Erjor, and that is, that Toshlish is also a student. She is a breed of dragon named for how their horns are shaped like a crown upon the head, they are not the same as the chromatic and metallic dragons that most people are familiar with. Yet even that does not fully explain the curious culture that has Toshlish believe that as a dragon, her role is to serve man. A maid and guardian to Lady Maylin, she is the very picture of a dutiful servant, to the point where even the Silvers are taken aback by just how submissive one of their kin is. |

Heliarde Paschal | Royal Hare | 4' 2" | There is precisely one reason anyone ever talks about the chess club at Monere, aside from actually liking chess, and that is Heliarde Paschal. A very strange and curious girl, Heliarde is known for her haughty attitude, her love of games, and Tamara herself having an actual respect for the girl that most everyone else hates for her attitude. Heliarde is a very powerful girl most often shown in the form of the giant, crystalline soldiers that fight, most of them modeled clearly after chess pieces. In fact, during formal challenges she'll often directly warp the battlefield to some kind of otherworldly chess board, strictly for her own amusement. While many are loathe to admit it, she is likely the strongest prey student at Monere. |

Cedonia Trevil | Tiefling | 5' 10" | Nicknamed the white Witch, Cedonia has a rather fierce reputation in the school. It takes a very strong person to be allowed to run the Magic Club in Alba's absence after all. However, she has a clear case of envy. Unlock the wretch that obsesses over being proven worthy, Cedonia is constantly considering how to surpass and one-up Alba. It's a very one-sided rivalry as it seems almost as if Alba barely even notices the Witches grudge and intense desire to prove herself better. |

Junko Minamori | Amanojaku | 6' 3" | The Leader of the 'Security Club' Junko is a girl who thinks very highly of herself, and not without reason. Amanojaku are considered minor oni, weak yokai, in Japan, but the girl seems to defy those stereotypes and rules proudly and cruelly at the head of her club, a club that works directly with the hellhounds to ensure the rules are enforced on campus property. Some of her fellow Japanese say she's gotten to big for her britches, other wonder if she can even still be called an Amanojaku. After all, yokai changing forms and species, especially when so closely related, isn't unheard of. The woman herself rules the school hallways with fear and her cadre of handpicked, elite fighters. She's the very definition of the letter of the rules, not the spirit. |

Eren Uehara | Okuri Inu | 5' 7" | Okuri Inu are supposed to be yokai of such vicious savagery and danger, that their mere presence will prevent those being stalked by them from being targeted by other yokai. Eren though is the very image of a good girl, and well tamed by the miko of Monere. She used to be a feared and respected predator, until she targeted Yamaoka, seemingly devouring her, only to be rudely awakened by the hellhounds. Supposedly they'd done part of the work of breaing her before Kiyo revealed she wasn't actually dead. From there she was taken into the miko and...made one of them. Equal but...very clearly not as anyone who sees her out in public with her 'friends' can affirm. |

Nian Gao | Jiangshi | 5' 9" | Nian Gao is the friendliest and safest predator in Monere, or at least that's what she thinks. Jiangshi feed on life force, draining it directly from their victims. However, like proper vampires, this isn't an inherently lethal process. As a result Nian Gao very rarely kills her victims, and often even feeds on predators. Her victims can recover perfectly fine, and this makes her extremely happy. Unfortunately, many of her victims are often left weak by the act and vulnerable, leading to some weaker predators to deliberately tail her to take advantage of easy pickings. The poor girl has no idea. |

Cybele Marea | Harpy | 6' 1" | Cybele is the leader of the Choir at Monere, a favored student of Crystal Bell. Harpies and Sirens are both well known for their entrancing voices and Cybele is no exception. There is a reason she leads the choir and not anyone else, and why everyone who is part of it is too happy to accept it. Why anyone who joins might have issues at first, and then quickly those issues just fade away as they start to adore her as much as every other member of the choir, their angelic voiced queen. |

Siun | Boggart | 5' 11" | Hailing from Ireland, Siun is the dangerous kind of boggart, the kind that live in marshes and were given a name by a human. She is in Monere studying and preparing for a role serving in the Unseelie Courts of her homeland, and in the meantime works for the Chivalry club, putting her excellent archery skills to work, although she often spends a great deal of time at the Marksman club, and many wonder just how big a hand she has in the unofficial alliance between the two clubs. |

Eleonora Keller | Elf | 6' 5" | Tall, willowy, vicious in a fight, and one of the few prey students to lead a club. Eleonora is a prominent figure among the students. A woman who truly did have to carve her way to the top, and is oh so very close to graduating from the academy. She has fought long and hard to attain her position and has the hard won respect of almost every predator in the Chivalry club. Of course, she is a fantastic target to rival clubs, after all. She is very careful and cautious about what she does, getting her the usual monikers of buzzkill, prude, and ice queen. She doesn't seem to care after all, letting her skills and grades speak for themselves. |

Helen Johnston | Wildcat | 5' 7" | Normally, someone like Helen would be considered a low rung predator. However, she's a girl that's much smarter than most gave her credit for. She looked at the way prey survive, the way they fight tooth and nail the unusual methods. In prey circles, one's species has almost nothing to do with power, it's almost exclusively a predator mindset, and so...she picked up on those same methods. To see the fruit of her labors, look at her role, captain of the Marksman Club, using modern tech and modern magical methods to rise to the top above even the other predators in the club, earning a grudging respect, and much curiosity. Not many predators use the same advanced methods as some of the more troublesome prey after all. |

Touka Bhatia | Djinn | 5' 3" | Most people probably don't even think of genies as things that have kids, or childhoods or the like. Most people don't know much about them beyond the popular media of imprisoned spirits that grant wishes. Well Touka is not imprisoned, she is not interested in granting wishes and she's...probably one of the strongest predators on campus? It's extremely hard to tell, mostly thanks to the woman's intense and deep interest in acting. She leads the drama club, she loves drama and gossip, and she just...doesn't stop acting. At times she's even kidnapped students and impersonated them to see if she can pull it off. |

Edith Auguste | Zombie | 6' 1" | Anyone who says the dead don't dance has never spoken to Edith. A curious girl from far out West, she's a very powerful figure. She claims to be of relation to Baron Samedi, and well that would explain her power. Besides the usual abilities and terrific power of an advanced undead, Edith's dancing is...infectious. This works great for the dance club but has at times disrupted academy activities. In fact, during an All Hallow's Eve celebration, something happened that made Edith's command so powerful that even Alba was compelled to join in on the dancing. Videos of which are very discreetly passed around by those who value their lives, but can't help but take the risk. |

Benedikte Oien | Human | 6' 0" | Destined to be a valkyrie in the service to Valhalla, Benedikte is one of the spiritual leaders on Monere's Campus. She stands out thanks to possessing some small fragment of actual divinity, as she has been marked to become, well, most others just call it 'a viking angel' which is a good way to piss her off. This fate could have given Benedikte predator status, perhaps the norse gods would have even granted her this privilege early, but she refused. To her, this is a test, and she consorts with predators, drinking with them flagrantly without regard or fear. The fact that she survives is a testament to her strength and power. |

Sotemeit | Jackal | 5' 4" | Few are as faithful as Sotemeit, at least, so she claims. A devoted preistess to Anubis, she is one of the few predators in the spirituality club. It tends to attract few, but some pantheons have more predators than others among their ranks and the Egyptian pantheon is one such. While not as prolific as Christianity, Greek or Norse, it nonetheless has a presence, in no small part thanks to Sotemeit's power and relentless dedication in spreading the knowledge and power of her own gods. |

Mariabella the Machine-Hearted | Android | 5' 1" | The irony of the leader of the Artifice Club herself being a product of artifice is not lost on Mariabella. An astonishingly cheerful and good natured girl, Mariabella is often mistaken for a simple prey human. However, her artificial body is a lot more dangerous than most expect, and qualifies her as a predator, not that she exercises it often. Supposedly created by a mad genius in Britain, Mariabella claims to have had her body upgraded multiple times over the years to simulate 'aging' up, among other wild tales. Regardless, her intelligence and emotional range can't be denied, and those more interested in tech than magic often wonder if she's not just the first real AI in the world, despite her heavy magical interests. |

Grelod Saevinsdottir | Revenant | 6' 6" | Grelod's tale is a sad one. Originally a simple human who befell a foul fate at the academy, she was ressurrected as an undead thing, a revenant bound to the service of the student who raised her. When they graduated, she was allowed to remain and finish her education, and so she does. She founded her own club to try and perform some small service for the numerous prey that are devoured and killed upon the campus, the Gravetenders Club. Although some have to wonder about the purity of her intentions, as since its founding, more and more undead have begun to join the academy. |

Azeema al-Sawaya | Human | 5' 7" | A curious girl and one that is kept close to Mura, Azeema is in essence a warlock, at least as far as anyone can tell. It is strange in truth. No one is quite sure what to make of her, she does not make waves, and she does not seem like the most exceptional of students, but there is simply something about her. Something a few students seem to know, Mura among them, but refuse to answer if someone grows curious enough to ask. |

Apostolia Fotide | Human | 5' 5" | A devotee of Hera, Apostolia has taken over the reigns of all Greek rule and activity on the campus, the undisputed religious leader save for perhaps the two angelic teachers. She has great friction with the greek monsters upon campus, and is in an intense, if somewhat amicable, rivalry with Kiyo for leadership of the spirituality club. She has taken up the prey cause with great vigor, and often finds herself working closely with Mura or the silvers. |

Ulla Rosenqvist | Human | 6' 2" | A ferocious warrior and viking, Ulla and Benedikte are close friends, even if Ulla is significantly less spiritual than Ulla. She holds to the old ways, but the most important thing about the nordic religion is dying in battle, and one could be forgiven for thinking Ulla intends that to happen while at the academy. She has fought Jane, Tamara, Senaida, the Silvers, and more. Once she was abducted by Kono Mana and returned four days later. She has all the makings of a great norse hero, and fully intends to meet them. |

Mahamai Vadekar | Asura | 6' 10" | Mahamai is well known as an extremely dangerous woman, but also easy to please. The leader of the martial arts club, she has kept that position through nothing more or less than raw skill and power. In fact, she's even won a match against Tamara Casey, supposedly outright humiliating her once. Of course, she has yet to gain another win since, but it was still an accomplishment that is worthy of note, although her eyes have recently drifted to the captain of the Chivalry Club, sparking a strong and harsh rivalry. |

Myvaith | Red Dragon | 5' 8" | The Chromatic dragons are known for just being naturally evil, often putting them at odds with dragons of different species who happen to have similar colors to the chromatics. Myvaith likes to act above it all. In fact, she is one of several students who, rather than join a club, hire their services out. Her prices are extortionate but her power and value during a club raid or competition can be extremely useful. She's even been used to tie down Tamara Casey and at least stall her from interfering in other battles. |

Frindrios Maybelle | Forest Dragon | 5' 4" | Where Frindrios comes from, dragons have a wide variety of roles. As a forest dragon she is an embodiment of nature, and has high expectations placed upon her, but also a good deal of comfort. Perhaps this is why she's such a spoiled brat, or perhaps it's just the usual draconic greed that so many people are convinced is just a natural staple of all species of dragon, no matter hwo disparate it may be. Her attitude once actually had her targeted by the Duo, which was enough to halt her spoiled behavior for...three months, before she started to slip back into it. |

Mei Xiao | Human | 5' 2" | Mei Xiao is a prey student with a lot of spunk. She is also an extreme nuisance for any predator trying to get at her. She specializes in two things, speed and pressure points. More than one predator has tried to grab her, gotten lightly tapped on some spot on their body and just collapsed as the girl yanked their panties down, gave them a smack and then went running to the hills before they could recover and come after her. Some hate the fact that she doesn't try to 'fight' predators, but instead disables them and flees, while some admire such an effective strategy. |

Marie Rose Dieudonne | Human | 4' 10" | Marie is an interesting little figure. A practitioner of necromancy but also voodoo, a thing that the more European sensibilities of the student body have difficulty wrapping their heads around, struggling to figure out whether it is magic or religion. She is a member of the occult club, and an extremely useful member. Her voodoo being hard to defend against and very effective at tracking down predators, rescuing prey, and putting their predators in their place, something she does with a perverse glee. |

Alicia Barber | Human | 5' 5" | Alicia has dreams of being a star, a true and great singer whose music will be known the world over, and that is why she came to Monere to learn at the feet (fins?) of Crystal Bell. Rumor has it that she's an even better singer than Cybele, which has easily made the harpy jealous, and she keeps the girl doting on her and firmly under her wing. If one wonders why she doesn't simply get rid of the competition...there's a number of theories. The most popular being that Cybele doesn't want to risk losing Crystal Bell's favor. |

Diana Hoste | Human | 5' 11" | Tall, beautiful, and pretending to be mysterious, Diana is a part of the sports club, and the ace of the wrestling team, even putting predators to shame. No one's quite sure what her trick is when it comes to dominating the wrestling ring. Some claim that wrestling just isn't that popular a sport at Monere, but not all are convinced. The other students that grapple her with her can only say that she feels...a lot heavier than she looks. A lot heavier, and of course the woman herself gives away no secrets. |

Joke Desramaut | Human | 5' 6" | Yes, go ahead and laugh. Joke is aware of her name, and how much English speakers just love it. The fact that English is considered to be the basic language of the EU despite it being completely stupid only makes it worse for her. Of c course, no one is laughing when Joke gets into a fight. She's a vicious fighter, a quick and agile magic user, training to be a military caster, and few think she's going for a cushy mage position either. A lot of predators have been laid out and thwarted trying to eat her. |

Vaeri Trisfir | Elf | 6' 2" | Tall, beautiful, a painting made flesh and one of the most talented musicians in the acadaemy, Vaeri is a veritable rising star and loves to ride the wave of popularity and fame. She is beloved by Crystal Bell, her safety bolstered thanks to that relationship, and many predators are enraptured with her music regardless, and yet there is one stain upon her role, and that is that she plays the same instrument as Joann Grant. The fact that Joann is better than her is something she fiercely denies and she has at times stormed off the moment someone even mentions the dullahan. |

Tamara Whitehead | Dog | 5' 8" | Tamara is a devoted member of the Artificer's club, the chivalry club, the engineering club, and still two more. Her weeks are frequently spent busy and all her friends are part of a club she is also a part of. She's also almost always walking in what can only be described as 'power armor.' It makes her pretty formidable, and puts her in the camp of 'one of those weird sciencey fuckers' that so many of the more magically inclined predators of the student body don't really know how to handle. The girl herself is clearly studying for some kind of larger military role, but no one's sure just what. Some think mercenary work. |

Yvonne Dalton | Human | 5' 7" | Yvonne is a woman of practicality and many skills to supplement her core. Most notable is that she is human, and yet several monster girls serve her directly. She does not call them pets. Her varied schooling can be summed up with a few examples. It is possible for humans to surpass their physical limits and better compete, so she studies martial arts (European of course), one can dabble in magic for specific skills and small benefits, and so she does. Yvonne is a noble, and one with a proud military background. For her, Monere is a test and one of the best places to learn, and so she intends to. |

Uhraya | Tiefling | 6' 0" | It's not often tieflings are actually raised by their infernal family or can call themselves a true part of it. Uhraya not only can, but even bears a name from her family. She is an enterprising and innovative new venture, a deliberate mixed-blood creation to serve as a fixed agent in the mortal plane. Tieflings do not need to be summoned, tieflings have stronger ties to the mortal realm than any infernal realm, and so, make one, raise them to be loyal to the family, and enroll them in an elite education. Uhraya is in the odd position of having an esteemed family pedigree behind her and yet being a race considered to be mutts even more than the actual dog girls. |

Jasemina Nnano | Human | 5' 3" | A member of the security club, Jasemina is not as combat focused as her peers in the club. Not all of them are but most of them are expected to be able to lay about in a fight without much issue. However, Jasemina specializes more in diffusing fights before they can even start. In specific, predators have a very hard time going against her word. She shows up, she speaks and the more powerful the predator, the more easily and happily they go along with whatever she says. Despite this she has not taken any as pets or done more than spend a heated weekend with one. Possibly to avoid bad blood or riling up the general student body. |

Celica Fairbrook | Android | 5' 4" | The daughter of Professor Fairbrook, Celica is an android, an uncommon thing, practically a new species...depending on how the law goes. Her 'mother' insists she's a person and has big plans on pushing android rights before it even has to be an issue. Of course Celica herself is the biggest determining factor and most come out thinking...they're not sure. She seems to have emotions, but sometimes she talks strangely, sometimes when she gets focused she seems more like a machine and it leaves them doubtful. However, she has many good friends, and is one of the closest friends of Mariabella and Tamara. |

Eveline Cavalier | Tiefling | 6' 1" | A well off girl from a rather impressive family of warlocks and sorcerers. They have a prestigious bloodline tracing all the way back to a full devil, at least that's what they claim. Eveline seems to have that devilish blood quite strong in her veins going by her appearance and magical power. Yet despite her impressive potential, rumor has it that she's a tuition student, which can't help but raise a few eyebrows. Despite that, those that test it do find that her magic is quite potent. |

Patience Redman | Human? | 5' 4" | Patience would be a completely unremarkable student at Monere, a smart girl, as is expected to even get into the academy. She should be unremarkable, but instead people wonder and question. First, she came with Eveline and is clearly her personal servant as much as a student. Second, she is not a human, or rather, is higher on the hierarchy than she should be. Something that a few learned first hand when they tried to eat her, and Junko's Security Club were all too happy to make it clear that the rule about being able to do whatever one wanted with humans did...not apply to Patience, starting a whole storm of rumors surrounding her that have practically overshadowed her mistress. |

Xu Fang | Human | 5' 7" | Fang is a rather boisterous and proud girl, a student of kung fu, but also an apt student of music. While one has to wonder if she even has talent in any other fields, she's put a great deal of effort into both, getting her two layers of protection. One from being a talented musician, the other from being able to kick three kinds of ass, which has gotten her out of more than few tight positions in her time at Monere. Despite her several close calls, it's rather well known that she outright refused to join the 'Occult Club' well known for being more focused on protecting prey and low hierarchy students than actually being a magic club. |

Qiu Cui | Mouse | 4' 4" | Many a predator has mistaken Qiu Cui for a really easy snack, she's small after all, and looks so soft and well curved. What they quickly realize is that Qiu thinks one's meat should be well tenderized and well done. She's a martial artist and a very capable one. Probably one of the top students on campus although very few are willing to admit something so absurd. She's also a part of the Occult Club, and one of the big examples hoisted up by others to prove it's not actually a magic club and just an excuse to help low ranking students. |

Mariya Chkheidze | Human | 5' 4" | An artificer of great skill and ability, Mariya is a girl with a lot of pride in her craft and a valuable asset to the club. Of course that's not always enough to keep a human safe, and that's where that big cylinder she hauls around comes in. It lets her basically teleport out of any situation, or become completely ethereal, or make a barrier...honestly it does a lot of things and not many people understand how, or if there's limits, or if it has fuel, and she's not keen to give away the secrets to her ace in the hole. |

Chilero Kriuldrit | Dark Elf | 5' 8" | An extremely friendly girl and extremely enthusiastic duelist, Chilero sometimes joking calls herself a chocolate elf, because she's far more pleasant than most consider dark elves to be. Friendly to most students, predator or prey, regardless of hierarchy. This cheerful demeanour and the fact that she's not human, has really helped her coast along, and for the rare encounters, her swordsmanship and quick footwork has so far helped her escape a terrible fate. |

Nemertes | Fae | 5' 2" | Fae is a term that can refer to a huge, massive variety of creatures. As a technical, scientific classification, dullahan themselves are a type of fae, as are elves. Colloquially though its usage has shifted, but is still very broad. No one's sure what Nemertes is other than...a fae, heralding from the Seelie Court in the British Isles, she is supposedly a quite important figure there. She's a patron of the arts, studying under Crystal Bell and Natassa alike. Some wonder if there's an ulterior motive, the fae of Britain have a well known love of artists and musicians, often spiriting them away, and the quality of the pets she collects leads many to suspicion. |

Sharon Verdoodt | Human, to her frustration | 5' 6" | Sharon is a girl with a very simple and not uncommon tale. A person with sorcerous talent from a small amount of draconic blood. However, unlike most such examples, her draconic blood is just a little stronger, manifesting physically on her body. She can even devour others, although not with nearly the ease of a full dragon or even a half dragon. Despite this, she is still listed as merely human. She calls it discrimination, and has gotten used to having to defend herself from other predators despite not being nearly weak enough or human enough (in her opinion) to merit the treatment. She even refused to join the Occult Club, as she doesn't follow their ideals..although the silvers have been working her, slowly coaxing her to change her mind. Some wonder how long before being accepted by actual dragons will push her to finally cave in. |

Alice Davies | Cheshire Cat | 5' 11" | Cats, barring certain execptional species, tend to be on the lower rungs of the hierarchy, above the like of elves or dwarves, but one of the lowest ranking preds in general. However, as stated some species are higher, but no one's quite sure where a Cheshire Cat falls into things, or if that's even an actual thing. Alice claims to be one, and she has all the...trademark abilities. Phasing her body in and out, right down to just parts of her body at a time, seemingly able to go where she wants and slip out of whatever she pleases. No one's sure how high on the hierarchy she falls, but no one's been able to test it. There's also a few people who insist her name has to be fake. A Cheshire Cat named Alice? Come on! |

Kamei Masami | Gyokuto | 5' 8" | The Lunar Rabbits are a strange bunch, technically considered Japanese, they're not from Japan in the traditional sense, putting Kamei in an odd spot. Not that she seems to notice. A powerful shamanistic spellcaster, and a very free spirit, Kamei does essentially whatever she wants. She's not part of any clubs, and while everyone's sure she's prey no one's made a move on her, at least, no one has made a move on her as far as anyone knows. |

Adelaide Fallburrow | Human | 5' 0" | There is a surprising population of so called 'weeaboos' at Monere, students obsessed with Japan, its mythology, monsters, magic, and martial arts. Perhaps not surprising given the large population of Asian, and specifically Japanese, students who attend. Adelaide is one such weeaboo, normally these students don't last long, or don't make waves, but Adelaide is specifically a fan of Japan's giant mecha, and a talented artificer. Thanks to this she has the backing of Mariabella and more importantly, some means of actually defending herself, and big enough and crazy enough projects that she gets at least a little more attention than her fellow Japanophiles. |

Marinochka | Sea Serpent | Head to Torso: 5 feet Waist to tail tip: 50 feet |
Sea Serpents are rare, beautiful and very dangerous predators. Some of them growing to truly tremendous sizes. Most don't even realize that they are, or can be, intelligent. Marinochka fits all those descriptors and is quite intelligent, and a well known ravenous predator. Already over fifty feet long, other students can only imagine how impressive she'll be as she continues to grow, and according to her, a sea serpent's only limitation on size is age. The girl herself is sweet enough but very predatory, advanced magic employed to let her traverse land as the usual wheelchair strategies of other merfolk don't work so well for her. |

Sareash | Angel | 6' 4" | Angels are a contentious topic at the academy, due pretty much to the constant conflict between the less religious, demonic or just cruel predators, and the strong religious sects that dominate much of the prey population. As such, the angels in the student body tend to hide their identities. So everyone knows that Sareash is a major player in the Spirituality Club and a prominent student, but no one knows what she disguises herself as or as who. Thanks to this people don't 'see' her often, or if they do, they don't realize it's her. The angel herself is supposedly an angel of knowledge, light and guidance. |

Miah Randall | Ghost | 5' 7" | Miah is a part of Grelod's gloomy little club of undeath. However, unlike her somber club captain, Miah is the Life of any party! She's taken quite well to being an undead, and maintains that there's no reason to change how one lives, on the contrary it's a reason to party even harder! Her role in the club is simple, to show those who wind up being raised from their untimely deaths that the phrase 'life is for the alive' isn't all that accurate. |

Hendrika Heller | Gnome | 3' 9" | Hendrika is short, smug, and insufferable. A proper shortstack, there's quite a few who look at her with desire for the unique body type she offers. However, she's a magic user, and not a bad one, and the many who want their own little portable shortstack means that few are willing or able to risk trying to eat her. Despite the fact that most of her survival is just dumb luck, rivalry among predators and only slightly her own magic, this has led to a rather impressively inflated ego, and some are placing bets on how long it is before she pushes the smugness to far. |

Dokuz Khatum | Human | 4' 11" | Short, but fierce, Dokuz is the face of shamans at Monere. The one most of the experienced students think of when the subject comes up. Well in tune with the spirits of her people, and with a very hot tempered personality, Dokuz stands out despite her lacking stature. She's also far more dangerous than the label human would indicate, as a few unfortunate souls have learned, watching her transform into a massive, scaled beast and devour them whole. All but one of them were eventually spat back up however, leaving that last a truly unlucky soul. |

Alicia Watterson | Human? | 5' 5" | Alicia is an unusual girl at the academy and one more for the small, but not as small as one thinks, box of 'humans who are definitely not because they're not at the bottom of the hierarchy.' Alicia is a very religious girl and a powerful magic user, a...very powerful and gifted magic user, with a penchant for light magic and even calling upon sunlight itself. She's well known for defending prey students, and works directly with the Occult Club. |

Malkia Saykio | Human | 5' 11" | Malkia is well known as the best divination expert in the school. This has given her a number of advantages, such as avoiding situations where she might have been eaten or become pets. It also gives her a valuable business that helps keep her somewhat protected. She is usually willing to sell her services and magic, although she might refuse depending on the person or cause, sometimes before they ask. A close friend of Alicia Watterson, she is not an official member of the Occult Club, but they nonetheless enjoy a nice discount on her services. |

Marjorie Fonte | Crystal Slime | varies, usually between five and six feet | Marjorie is the leader of the Alchemy Club, and one of the 'popular' kids for an extra level of protection, although slimes are usually high enough on the hierarchy that they don't have as many worries as others. Marjorie though is the girl every student goes to when they need a potion. Change shape, extract souls, healing, hurting, featherweight, ironskin, anti-acids, and even things not potions, like soul gems, magic crystals, pretty much everything. The Alchemy Club is practically a shop and they make a killing under their skillful blue leader. |

Haris Kontou | Chimera | 6' 1" | Haris is from a very old, respectable Greek bloodline, and one couldn't tell by looking at her. She's a chimera sure, a very dangerous type of monster that puts her way up on the hierarchy, but she's also a bitch, a party girl, and seems to start at least three fights a day. She frequently gets into scuffles with the security club, and is one of the predators that humans mark as, 'never approach' because she really does love taking advantage of that no consequence rule. It's like the girl sets herself out to piss off as many people as possible and has been known to drop a meal to challenge someone else for theirs specifically to get them to fight her. |

The Magic Club speaks for itself. The go to club for all arcane pursuits, sorcery, wizardy, witchcraft, alchemy, all are welcome, and most rivals are swiftly destroyed by Alba for...well, frankly unknown reasons. She isn't super involved in the club, and when she is it's usually a huge affair that involves one of her actually...not completely irreprehensible projects as well. Some think she just likes having a large resource to call upon. The Magic Club itself is welcoming to pretty much everyone, although there is a simple entry test to prove one has the talent or knowledge to grow in it, and members are expected to either have a certain level of magical prowess, or grow to it over time. It's also a club filled with intellectuals and nerds, leading to a strong rivalry with the Sports Club. |

Hands down the biggest club in Monere, the Sports Club is essentially just a massive conglomerate of what should probably be smaller clubs, but all unified due to the massive ponderance of prey that join it. It is also led by one of the Three Queens which surely does not contribute at all to its harsh rivalry with the magic club. Jaime Vega definitely isn't using it to try and act upon her grudge and hatred for Alba and Senaida. Other than that, its a sports club, the requirements to join are simple and there's always gatherings almost every day for a huge variety of sports. Simple as could be. |

A club that was formed almost as a counterpoint to the martial arts club, the Chivalry club, contrary to its name, is still about martial arts. European martial arts in specific. Proper fencing, swordsmanship, the hand to hand or weapon styles of different cultures and countries from across Europe. It is a devoted club for certain and one that is, unsurprisingly on a constant war with the martial arts club to try and determine which culture's combat styles are the superior methods. |

A club that is almost as popular as the Sports Club, the martial arts club is a unique club in the school for having a host of members that are part of other clubs. A student being part of multiple clubs is nothing new or unusual, but the martial arts club has a massive host of members who are part of other clubs, and sometimes barely considered a part. Some really put in effort to balance their obligations, but most don't, and so the club has a strong core of 'true members' and a lower class of 'others' who are treated more poorly, and often as more expendable. |

The haven for the religious community of Monere, and comprised mostly of prey. The Spirituality Club has had to force unity between disparate pantheons simply to survive, aligning themselves barely on alignment or goals there is often friction between the groups. Jane Ysolt's presence is one that few understand, and the club members themselves often don't talk about but some have, bandying about words like catholic. The club itself is often at odds with the predators of the school but despite that never seems to ally itself Mura's Occult Club, perhaps that is just a step too far for them. |

A club that, while its most well known members are predators, is a club meant for prey. The name is essentially a front. It's another magic club, working around Alba's destructive tendencies, or perhaps just facing them down. It is pro-prey and predator relations, forbidding the eating of members entirely. Some call them the 'Prey Defense Force' as they often are seen outside of prominent events or out in force during special nights ready to defend the prey students of Monere. A club despised by many for this reason, but one that is simply too strong and dangerous to easily shut down. |

Often simply called the Yokai Club, for that is what it is in truth, the Japanese Enrichment Club was founded by the many yokai of Monere to develop their own little slice of home. To deal with homesickness to speak their mother tongue, to relax and enjoy each other's company without worrying about Miko, or the religious prats of others, or monster hunters or Mura or anything. Even prey yokai are welcome, even humans can join...in theory, although they usually don't last long. They tend to have a fierce rivalry with the spirituality club, if only because of Yamaokoa and the other miko. The club itself has little actual duties, it's just a place to enjoy Japanese culture, and let yokai feel like they're back home. |
| Too many to count | Most other students | Monere has dozens of clubs maybe even a hundred, it varies from year to year and on the population. Some are too small to deserve their own entry, some are large but so insignificant in terms of academy politics to not make it worth it. Some are only noteworthy because of one or two members. So just remember, just because a club doesn't have a big name like those above doesn't mean it's not there, it's just not as big. |
