Student Bio
Starting high school is tough for everyone. Fresh from being the top dog in middle school, you find yourself at the bottom of the pack; you have to find new friends, all while your hormones are raging and you've got hair growing in strange places. But it's even harder when said hair covers your entire body; when you're not just handling hormones, but heat; and when half the school is worried you're going to suddenly jump them...which, despite your best efforts, said hormones make seem ever more tempting with each day. In other words: if you're Molly.
To be sure, Molly's problems are hardly unique: every anthro has to reckon with maturity sooner or later. But that doesn't make it any less pitiful to see her squirming in the hallway or drooling desperately over a classmate lower on the food chain. Puberty hit her like a truck.
And so poor Molly finds herself navigating the challenges of freshman year amid the throes of her own poorly-understood animal desires. She still sees the world as she did in middle school: eager to mingle with species of all kinds, focused on the silly distractions of childhood; but that is increasingly at odds with her body, which salivates at the scent of half her friends and makes her feel all kinds of ways when the upperclassmen walk past. The regular insistence of the nurse that her experiences are all normal do little to reassure her, and anyway, that doesn't make her feel any less lonely when her human classmates won't partner up on work and the rabbits won't run relay with her!
But lonely as it might make her, they aren't wrong. Because one day soon, her middle-school mind will catch up with her high-school body, and someone will end up a nigh-inevitable sacrifice for her coming-of-age. Unless, of course, the naif ends up as someone else's milestone.
