Mihraj

"The heat getting to you? Or is my magic working a bit too well?"

It's an understatement to say that the worlds' deserts hide secrets out in the open. One such secret is this rather michievous lapine fellow. Meet Mihraj, Raj to some of his friends. Standing at five-foot-five, six-foot with those fluffy black and white ears, this lithe and somewhat effeminate looking desert-dweller may not seem like much. In fact, with all of the lamia that roam his homeland, whom often snack upon those of his breed, it's a miracle such a tiny creature can eek out his existence and hasn't been gobbled quite yet. However, any that could manage to talk to the naga tribes would swiftly learn why; they will go after all but the black-eared rabbit. Amongst their clans, he's had many names: The Night Hare, The Illusion, and The Mongoose are the popular ones. It seems he's made a name for himself amongst those living in his domain as a nightmare to even the most predatory of creatures.

And how and why would this be? It's quite simple, really: Mihraj is a master of illusory magic, able to manipulate sight, smell, and the sensation of feeling with his special breed of magic. While some other desert-dwellers in his homeland are capable of magic as well, particularly those of his own race whom use simple cantrips to aid in their daily lives, he learned magic from a particularly odd source. Whom, exactly, he won't say so quickly. However, the person that taught him the powerful illusory magic he utilizes to terrorize those that would make prey of him also taught him how even a lithe rabbit like himself could devour a full-grown naga whole. It certainly makes surviving in such a hostile environment a bit easier!

Of course, that's not to say that's all he uses his magic for. Sometimes he'll use it to enhance sexual experiences with willing participants. At other times, he'll use it to trick others for fun or for profit (or, as may be implied, the sake of filling his gluttonous appetite). One of his absolute favorite tricks is to convince poor travelers that he is a djinn that can grant them wishes in return for some form of sacrifice, though this isn't his only game...
