"Nya? I heard there was a big scary monster around here so point me in its direction and I'll take care of it, nyahaha!"

Enter Midori, a (Oddly) famous monster hunter whom travels all around the place, always looking for dangerous monsters to fight or maybe even play the hero and save folks! One of the few reasons why she is famous is her vast pool of magical energy... which she cannot use at all for spell casting! Why does she even dress like a nun when she doesn't even act like one? And whats up with all her nyaing? Why, lets dive a little deeper, shall we?

Coming from a clan of magically strong folks has its benefits. Especially since the patreon goddess they worshipped mircaliously saved them from disaster after disater. And while Midori, seemingly the strongest in terms of her magical reserves... Well, that has been an issue since her mana is constantly at its limit, maybe even more and her lack of training, or rather, inability to use magic at all has been a reason why she would be casted off the island. Totally not her being annoying and being led into believing there was a cure to her ailment in a far away land... Okay, maybe it was. But everything wasn't too bad, she would soon be taken into a church soon after landing upon land after days of sailing around. Though, she was only taken in and trained as a nun was the locals believed she had to been a goddess reborn, come to save the land from evil.

Oh how half right they was. While the church tried to help Midori learn how to cast magic, she would only seem to fail and fail, if not putting folks in danger from her antics. Not to mention she kept having to ask for more adjustments to her outfit, since her breasts kept swelling up with all the built up mana within her body! However, one day, she was given her chance to shine as a wandering spellgunner was brought in, injured from an attack from outside the village. A large voracious monster was on the loose, and the spellgunner had tried to take it on, only to have been devoured for a bit before managing to save themselves, stunning the monster from within and climbing out, hobbling to the village before more harm could be done. Midori heard this story and then inquired about the pistols, since they looked funny and was told they run off from a user's own magical reserves. It took... no time for Midori to take the guns out for a test run, rushing off in the direction in where the monster was last seen despite everyone trying to stop her.

...Only for her to come back victorious! And feeling so good with a good chunk of her mana that has been in her body for years out of her system as she would drag the monster, whom was out cold and covered in damaging blows, back to the village to show it off. While she was met with some anger with the monster now being in the village, others was clearly shocked at how she was even able to do so. And of course, the wandering spellgunner was on board with giving Midori their extra set of guns, if not tweaking them to handle her own mana since... she done a good number on the stolen pair in terms of internal damages. And well, she was told that she could become a monster hunter with enough practice and get to roam the world and discover more to explore.

With her eyes lit up, she would take her new guns and run off, running out of the village but not without turning in her nun clothing. Or some of her more important belongings. But who needs to wait around when there was so many fun fights for her to get into. Not to mention her later travels would soon bestow her with a more tweaked outfit and more tools. Oh and friends. Like Rumi_Kiyabu, the so-called Holy Huntress. Or maybe Copycat_Vivian, the odd girl that claims she can copy anyone...! Oh and fun people to fight, like Ketri
