Makoto Nanaya is a beastkin, which is something that receives a lot of hate and prejudice in her day and age. Her species are well feared and despised across the world thanks to the incredible power they possessed. It didn't help that the beastkin, as wide spread and big in population as they might be nowadays, had originally been created during the Dark War, as tools and weapons to aid in fighting off the Black Beast. However after the war as seithr spread across the world the beastkin were more able to socialize and travel about, meeting and spending time with others nad eventually flouring as their own races. Unfortunately they are practically treated as second hand citizens in most hierarchical cities. Thus Makoto, even with her rather high ranking position in the NOL was subject to a great deal of abuse and prejudice growing up.

To begin with Makoto is a squirrel type beastkin, she has the round ears, and a rather large, very, very fluffy tail, as the two biggest indicators of her being a beastkin. Her early life was well largely fine, she grew up with her fellow beastkin, and even among them was specially noted for her incredible athletic and acrobatic abilities. To the point where the Novis Orbus Librarium even took note and offered to let her attend their Military Academy. Makoto was quick to say yes thanks to how incredible an offer this was...but in the school, which was really more of a city devoted to keeping the students in school and unable to just run away, the squirrel girl found herself subject to a lot of abuse and cruelty, to the point where she became selfish, quick to anger, and violent. Yet, there were those who could help temper her prejudices, a few fellow students who were able to show her that not all humans were bad. Those two were Noel Vermillion, and Tsubaki Yayoi.

Tsubaki stood up for the beastkin in front of their classmates, and together she and Noel managed to form a strong friendship with Makoto. The three became fast friends, practically inseparable in their studies, but in the end they started to drift apart by circumstance. Noel left with Jin to fight in Ikaruga, and Tsubaki and Makoto eventually graduated, Tsubaki joining the NOL's zero squadron, while Makoto went to work for the intelligence department of the NOL. The three kept in contact but didn't hear much from each other as that went on. During her time though Makoto found out a few of the more...unsavory things of the NOL's past and experiments, and began working as a double agent for the Library's biggest rival and opponent, Sector Seven. Specifically she began working as a double agent for Kokonoe. It was during this time that she picked up the unnamed ars magus, the twin tonfas that she uses to such great effect. Although few really know how much of her destructive capabilities are her strength or that of her tonfa's, after all other beastkin such as Valkenhayn have long proved that a beastkin doesn't need fancy weapons to wreak havoc.

Yet, things began to escalate, things got chaotic in the 14th heirarchical city of Kagutsuchi and it was here that, during the massive debacle with Hazama, Relius, and Ragna the Bloodedge that Makoto finally defected from the NOL outright, not even serving as a double agent anymore, but working solely with Sector Seven, once again specifically Kokonoe and Iron Tager. Now she's working with them to help depose and defeat the NOL and the lately revealed imperator, Saya.

Update!
It seems Makoto now sports a black leather collar on her neck, the same as was once worn by Adara_. The shemale whore has claimed Makoto, she forced Makoto down and then fucked the squirrel so senseless that the poor girl had no choice but to submit! She's nothing but Adara's slave now, for the half-elf to abuse and use as she will~


So yes this is a fan character for Makoto Nanaya from Blazblue. She is a bright and cheerful girl, but I am more than willing to play her in many settings. She can be easily fit to fit into modern, sci-fi or fantasy settings beyond count. It's not hard to do really as long as you're clever. So don't be afraid, even if you don't know anything about Blazblue we can probably still have some fun together in just some generic setting of some kind!
