The counterpart of the
IcePrincess, played by the same person.
As stated prior, tales are often told to young elves to make them mind their manners. One of the scarier tales is that of the Lhach Hir, the Flame Lord. He was a terrible half-elf that ruled over the volcanic region north of the Kingdom of Ice, whom killed all that entered the land without a sign of remorse. It was said that a great knight killed the Flame Lord, but his cursed form was passed on to him thereafter. The knight forever lived in torment, trapped in an existence where his only salvation was in death, and that death could only be brought by the hand of another. The moral was obviously one of 'stay out of other peoples' business', more or less.
While most fairytales even amongst the Elves were sweetened up for their children to digest, this one was a rather brutal retelling of something rather marvelous. The Elven Archer, Arthion, came into possession of an ancient artifact which allowed him to destroy the nigh-immortal Flame Lord whom had destroyed his troupe when they were forced to wander his lands, though he was consumed by the lava shortly thereafter and his body perished, his soul took form in the lava and he was reborn again as the new Flame Lord. He hence forth forged an unsteady peace with the other elves and humans of the area and allowed for them to settle in his land and mine precious ore under his protection.
The rather androgynous being made of lava is very similar to his frosty counterpart, holding many of the same appealing traits, but lacking her sense of solidity. Oddly enough, he even manages a similar amount of temperature control, allowing him to touch, draw in, or be ingested by beings such as humans and elves without the worry of damaging them or a noticeable difference in his consistency despite the fact that his body is supposedly made of the finest of liquid magma. He is often seen in the company of Nostariel, as the two enjoy the sensations they bring to one another. In a similar fashion to her, he cannot be frozen or 'put out' despite his own ability to cool himself to a tolerable point, and he can assume a more elvish appearance similar to hers, though he rarely does so, rather proud of his triumph over the former flame lord and doing as much as possible to remind others of his victory.
