He's mean, big and he knows how to be a villain. Bowser is the Koopa King with a burning desire to take over the Mushroom Kingdom with an iron fist. But every time Bowser tried to do so, Mario is always around to stop him. Bowser often kidnaps Princess Peach to blackmail the Mushroom Kingdom to surrender the throne to the Koopa King, or else they will never see their precious princess again. Luckily, Mario always comes in to the rescue and Bowser suffers utter defeat.
But Bowser doesn't give up too easily. He is the most persistent of Mario's enemies by far. And sometimes teams up with him in case there's a more dangerous foe threatening to take over the Mushroom Kingdom who has means to piss off Bowser. The vicious Koopa does have backup to achieve his goals, mainly his son Bowser Junior who is the heir to the throne. Followed by a variety of monsters willing to serve the tyrant.
