{Back story}
Cruz was a member of the (Pending...) clan. A race of powerful yet peaceful Dragon's who were the first ones to claim Angel Island as their homeland and even create the Chaos Emeralds. However after the war with the Echidnas, they were forced to surrender. Being a powerful race they preferred to be peaceful and keeping true to their kind nature ever since the great war their ancestors caused to the world thousands of years ago. But as the Echidnas grew stronger with the power of the Chaos Emeralds, they nearly finished off the clan. All but one, a Dragon child who was sent away before the destruction of their homeland...

Sometime later, Cruz was found by a kind group of jungle frogs and taken to be raised as one of their own. He learned to hunt for food, scavenge the land, and build camps as the group was constantly moving. On Cruz's 18th birthday, the elder revealed that he was not really one of them, but a creature of a greater clan. He was then given a relic he was carrying when they found him as a baby. It was a golden gauntlet that could easily fit him now and a long broadsword, sharp to the touch. Wanting to know his true origin, Cruz bid his family farewell and went on a search to find the answers his tribe may have left behind. Cruz hadn't found anything for many years. Upon his return he was devastated to find his family's camp in ruins. No one survived the onslaught...

Cruz grieved but remembered the Elder's teachings to never seek revenge upon others. Before leaving, Cruz found a special gem the elder held onto to his last breath. A red Chaos Emerald...

One night under the stars, Cruz saw a strange shooting star from the distance that looked rather strange. After falling asleep he woke up only to find himself in a place a mysterious voice calls his "heart" where he would "awaken" as a "Keyblade Wielder" whatever that was. He wasn't too sure if that dream was a vision or if it had something to do with the strange mushrooms he ate. But the key shaped sword that appeared in his hand was no dream...

{Characteristics}
Cruz is an easy going, cocky yet cheerful Dragon with a slight attitude. He's more or less like Sonic. What makes him different is that he is not as lazy and he is extremely loyal and reliable to his friends. Cruz has had a hard life yet he was still able to retain his gentle nature. That being said he does have a tenancy to get cocky and over confident which has gotten him into more trouble than usual. But there has never been a situation he couldn't handle. He prefers attack over thinking things through which is a major downfall for him. In any case, Cruz could be classified as clueless. Not exactly stupid, but not smart either. That all changes in battle however, so don't think you'll take him easily. His attitude completely changes when he fights to defend those he cares for.

Cruz is a hunter. And a damn good one at that. He's captured colossal beasts in the past and made quite delicious meals out of them. One thing to note about Cruz is, he's ALWAYS hungry. Cruz is quite a glutton but what do you expect from a Dragon that lives alone in the wild having to hunt for breakfast?
Cruz is never picky when he's starving and will happily consume anything. Although he likes cooking things, he can actually swallow different creatures whole. If it's one thing he got from his race, it was the ability to pack away anything inside the belly. However he has never once became fat. His stomach is capable of crushing the prey down to size painlessly and grinding the life out of them until they fall asleep and become absorbed into the belly flesh.
Cruz always thanks the creatures he captures and eats. He learned from the Jungle Frogs to be kind to those that die to give you energy.

{Inventory}

(Pendeing...) Gauntlet - A gauntlet worn by the knights of his race. They have the power to harness the energy from certain gems for temporary powers. Cruz uses it with the Chaos Emerald to give him supreme power, at the cost of making him lose all senses. The gauntlet is always on his left hand.

(Pending...) Sword - A powerful looking sword wih a gleaming silver blade long as his whole body. It's strong enough to slice through any robot and never become dull. This is his pride and joy and uses it always in battle unless with a friend. Cruz is a left handed, but he sometimes switches between hands when fighting.

Keyblade - A sword shaped key Cruz somehow materialized in his hand after having a strange dream one night. It seemed extremely powerful and full of light. It more or less replaced his default sword but he still uses it from time to time and when things get hairy, he likes to break both blades out for some duo slashing action!

Red Chaos Emerald - A special gem the elder Jungle From has kept for a long time. It was the reason they were attacked. Cruz has no idea the power it contained until he harnessed it's energy. Cruz will hold onto it no matter what. Not only for it's power, but in memory of his fallen family.

Purple Chaos Emerald - Cruz found another Chaos Emerald within the Crystal Falls which was owned by a grumpy Milotic named Mica. When she was chasing him he dug his way through and found a chest full of treasure, but only the Chaos Emerald caught his eye. This Emerald seems to have given him the ability of a ghost and be able to touch ghosts.

Jungle Cargo Pants - Pants made for him by the Jungle Frogs when he grew older. they were a special fabric that is hard to tear. However it HAS been torn throughout many years as he ventured. These are his only set of clothes. He washes them every week and when he's washing them you won't EVER see him until they are put back on.

Feet Wraps - Nothing special. Cruz wrapped his feet to get over sharp stones and thorns in the jungle. He didn't have webbed feet like his family's and he'd rather walk than ride on their backs all the time.

{Abilities}

Speed - Like Sonic, Cruz is a speedy runner. Unlike Sonic, Cruz is faster. No joke. However he is only fast when on all fours.

Supreme Sight and Night Vision - His eyes are well tuned and perfect for hunting. He can see miles and miles away. And at night he can see things as if it were still night time. This has made him think it was still daytime however.

Supreme Hearing and Acute Sense of Smell - If he cannot count on vision then he uses his ears and nose. His ears are large and can hear almost anything and his nose can pick up anyone's scent from far away and remember them well.

Dragon Sense - If all fails, he will then just use his whole body to sense anyone approaching. Although not the most accurate method. He can still sense lifeforms from far away.

{Favorite Food}

Pizza - Something Cruz tried and loved when he first came to Station Square. Pizza is life for him and would gladly hurt himself for a slice.

Cheese Burger - A greasy burger is something else he likes. But below Pizza.

Nachos - Cheesy nacho chips were the third things he got and still loved to this day.

Tacos and Burritos - His fave snacks for the road. He loves them with extra hot sauce!

Candy - And other sweets! If you want to become his best friend, give him a back full of candy and he will love you forever~

Live Animals - When he's not in the city, he has to hunt. He loves hunting almost more than life itself. His favorite prey consists of birds, boar, foxes and hedgehogs!

{Least Favorite Food}

Fish - He hates the taste, but enjoys fishing. He prefers fishing since he can't swim.

Chili Dogs - He doesn't like the taste of hot dogs and when they are topped with chilli they taste even worse to him.

Veggies - Cruz isn't exactly vegan, so you won't see him eating any of those.
