The Wandering Maiden
Kana, a Fox Spirit, A Kitsune, and something of a Ghost. Kana is nothing more then a wandering spirit. She goes from place to place, walking the land in hopes of purging darkness. She knows her job and it is something she takes very seriously. For someone to get in her way, or try to stop her, or even force her hand they are typically dealt with very quickly. Kana is not one to pull blows either, she is known to give one warning before ripping someone in two. Kindness and mercy is not something she is blessed in. Throughout her travels she has come across many shrines, some housing other spirits who work as the local Gods. Of course Kana knows the rules, she is not to interfere with the affairs of another. But this does not mean she will make sure the God of the shrine is doing all they can to bring tranquility and peace to the region. If she sees something out of place she is quick to teach her methods, if that fails her hand is forced. She will simply either close the Shrine down or up root it. In extreme cases she has taken it over for herself.
Through her years in this world she has mastered more then a few disciplines. Though like most of her kind she is more adept in the art of magic then anything. She is not one to shy away from a fight though. When it comes down to it her choice of weapon is the parcel she seems to always carry. It even doubles as a staff. To pick a fight with Kana is not a wise idea. That being said she is not the most social person either. When she speaks, she comes off more cold and uncaring then anything. Even if that may be the case. At the end of the day she is only trying to do what she seems right. And what is right to her, isn't always right for everyone. But with her age and knowledge of the world, she simply thinks she is always right.
A Way of Life
Kana isn't all mean, so she thinks. Through her travels she is known to take in lost souls and help them. Be it help them find a new place to live, or even simply help them move on. But when someone follows her she expects them to listen to her, and if they don't consequences are had. These consequences can be as simple as a slap on the wrist or even a lecture. But there are times where even Kana has had enough of someone. If she feels someone will never listen to her or is taking advantage of her she will act. She will take the person and consume them. Take their soul for herself.
Those she encounters who she deems as bad souls she will take for herself. To her, she is something of a God, or even a Reaper. But in truth she is nothing more then a glutton. A glutton of souls. She loves the feel of them, the taste of them. But of course this is something she will never admit. And it gets worse if someone prays to her or even begs to her. That's when her ego goes out of control. The moment she sees someone do this she starts to rule over them, taking said person on as her slave, and that typically never ends well. Of course she just doesn't go around devouring everything, just the bad ones. So she says.
Elder Sister
Kana is the elder sister to
Mitsumi_Yugure,
Miki_Yugure, and
Lycia_Yugure. Unlike her sisters though she does not have one shrine she calls home. Rarely does she even see them. For the most part she tends to move from place to place, nowhere to call her true home. But this is how she prefers it. She finds staying in the same place dull. Why stay in one place when you can see the world? Or perhaps she is simply waiting for someone to make it with her while to stay. No one knows for sure what is going on in her mind. If her sisters know anything about her, it's not to anger her. Kana is truly a force to be reckoned with, none of the sisters come close to her in sheer force and power. Though many rarely see her in action, whispers of her actions sweep throughout the world.
Being the Eldest Sister to the Yugure family may account for the way she sees life. In the sense that she thinks everyone should listen to her. When it truly comes down to it though, Kana would rather talk something out then simply fight. She only raises a hand when she thinks her words are going nowhere, or she deems you as a dark presence, something that has to be snuffed out from the world. Devouring her prey isn't even where her punishments start either. To kill someone simply means their is no hope for them. Those she keeps alive tend to have a much worse fate. Kana believes in hard lessons, and what better way to teach someone to listen to her then making them her personal slave?
Her punishments? Always cruel and rather unusual. She's turned people into footwear and worn them all day or simply just shrunk someone down and played with them for the entire day. Be it under her foot, in her mouth, or perhaps trapped in her stomach for the remainder of the day. She likes to hit it home when punishing someone, making sure they will never commit the act again. That being said she has come across some who enjoy being punished like this. And for those that do the punishments never seem to end. At this point Kana simply takes those people on slaves until she is bored or done with them.
A rather odd girl indeed. She has a bit of an ego but believes she is kind as an angel. If you see her it's your choice. Keep walking? Or approach the Maiden.
In a nutshell
Kana is a wandering Kitsune with no shrine to call her own.
She is rather tall, standing at 6'2, and that is barefoot.
She has three younger sisters;
Mitsumi_Yugure,
Miki_Yugure, and
Lycia_Yugure.
Kana comes off rather cold when she speaks, but it's just her nature.
She believes in purging all bad souls and devouring them for herself.
Kana tends to take on students who are lost in the world.
When someone begs her to live, her true nature is shown as she destroys them, from inside out.
She loves shrinking others and toying with them. Be it to punish them or simply end them.
Being what she is, she can un-hinge her jaw and eat someone whole, though she rarely does this.
She has come across some willing people from time to time. Those she finds as willing, she tends to keep as slaves or servants.
