Name: Jeremy "Hare" Turner.

Species: Anthro Toon Rabbit/Hare. (Ex-Human)

Powers: Toon Durability, Hammerspace, Various gags (details below).

Jeremy is a real Cartoon Rabbit with all the features and physics to boot. His form looks a little different than the standard anthro; a little smaller, more lythe and flexable too.

He usually carries a friendly demenor and can be a little shy, but not to the point of being problematic to himself. Despite that he is still a jokester and tends to not take much (unfunny) crap from people, especially due to him being able to survive damn near anything as a toon.

However he was not always a toon. When toons started to show up and introduce themselves there was a bit of an...existential crisis. Some took it better than others, over all it could have been a lot worse. Boris_The_Wolf has a way of keeping people calm and it basically all worked out. That is until things got a bit more complicated one day when what is known as 'the toon boom' hit.

In a goverment facility they were testing new 'toon' technology in order to help humanity; things that could heal and reverse age without having to go full funny animal.

Despite Boris's warnings the goverment was also doing tests with raw toon force. They thought they could get unlimited energy from it but it ended up blowing up in everyone's face.

Long story short they nearly created a toony boson that turned the nearby town into toons, as well as leaving behind a strange residue that is shown to turn people who are exposted to it into toons, Random if nothing else is added. Of course this substence does not exist as far as the goverment is 'offically' concerned. That being said it is not exactly illegal, so it was pretty much scooped up by the affected citizens right away.

So Que another round of drama, the president says some stuff that doesen't matter, documents get leaked so everyone knows what happened yadda yadda.

However, one day Jeremy decided to visit his cousin Jack living in that very same small town in the country; it was a chance to see his cousin for the first time in a couple years and maybe he can gawk at the animal people when they aint looking.

As it turned out he would get to look at one real close as on the ride there Jack reveals he is now a Beaver over the video phone...

"But...You said you werent caught up in the boom." Jeremy told his brother bewhildered. "Nice Joke bro but you gotta understand how serious this is." He watched the toon on screen chow down on a whole wooden log and began to get the feeling he was not joking.

"You know my Buddy Rodney? Yeah He's a squirrel now, He hooked me up man, and I wanna hook YOU up. I know you're into the whole animal person thing and as quiet as you are, like me, I think you might just be crazy enough to do it." Jeremy's heart sank; It is a good thing he was taking the bus and his headphones in.

"Gods...Could I really though? This best not be a joke Jack, Like for real." Jack just laughed...that laugh he does when he knows he is right.

"Why a Beaver though? Thought you were not really into the 'animal person thing'?" He asked.

"Oh it's better to be an animal than a caricature of yourself if ya ask me but hey, thets just my opinion." They talked the whole ride there, and when he finally arrived they did not jump right into it, they talked hugged and caught up on everything.

Along the way he met the Party_Of_Toons and heard all about what it means to be a toon, the things they can do and so fourth.

He heard the benifits and the drawbacks; Biggest drawback is not being able to go back to his job, but that was fine for Jeremy because he already knew what he wanted to do.

He managed to pay off his debts after a bout of annoyance with doing it over the internet and finally the time came and he already had his animal picked out, the only thing left was to tell his brothers and folks.

His Brothers understood a bit better than his parents that wouldent stop asking him WHY he would do this since he did not 'need' a new body; so he simply answered.

"Im not letting another oppertunity pass me by, I wont need a lot of money, these people get a good nights sleep on a tree branch and-" He was cut off and yelled at, and in time they DID end up calming down but that was not today. He had to eventually hang up and turn his phone off.

Despite the drama things were on the next day, he had no doubt what he was going to pick. "Rabbit, lots of good choices out there but it has to be a rabbit." He said, and Boris nods and mixes a few myseterious things into the goop...was one of them a carrot? He watched the thing seemingly disappear into the goo and he got into a cold sweat.

"So Um...Do I Just drink or-" And he was slapped with the goo like a cream pie, felt weird for a moment and then passed out.

He had a dream in those 5 minuets he was transforming that felt almost like a lifetime. He WAS a cartoon, the dreams were episodes and he was the main character. He got the feeling that this was more than just a set of dreams, but it seems

When he woke up he felt his pants and shirt were too big and his shoes...did not fit? Indeed, He looked at himself and he was a full toon, a Rabbit/hare just as he asked. He took off the clothes to see a bare crotch and before he could ask Boris says.

"It's a toony comb over, you can walk around like that if ya want but you're going to have to figure out how to do it yourself or wear some clothes." Jeremy removed those tight shoes and examined his rabbit shaped feet.

"mmm...Oh well who needs shoes." He managed to find a small pair of red cargo pants and a nice red flat cap to match and decided to skip the shirt entierly...No one seems to mind when you are covered in fur and dont have nipples.

So after a nice long stay he decided to begin his traveling, going with the flow and interacting with the other toons, both from the Tooniverse and other transformed humans.

He'll admit it, He's kind of a hobo, but a 'classy hobo' as he puts it. In general he doesen't steal and keeps himself reasonably clean. Although Even when perfectly clean he does tend to kinda smell like the woods for some reason.

It all comes so easily to him. He quickly found a good location and dug out a hole/den for himself, bringing what he can down to it, making it a bit of a man cave of sorts. It is about the size of a living room but it suits him.

Powers/Quirks

Being a toon comes with it's advantages, he can survive being crushed, shot and all manners of aggression without any long lasting injury or more pain that a "yeeowtch!". However, Toons are not immortal.

It is not fully clear how much it takes to hurt them by regular means; they can get crushed flat as a pancake for a joke after all. However, something insanely strong like a nuclear bomb could blast him right into the after life.

Should a toon get eaten and 'die' (not many ways to get around being stuck in a sack of acid) then they end up a Toon ghost, or angel and may have some capacity to reform themselves.

Pain is Limited for a toon. A tack to the ass will hurt, stuff can still hurt; but the true turmoil that a live digestion would bring simply does not occur.

Extra Notes:

Though not yet fully used to using it yet, Jeremy has a toon 'hammer space' he can store almost anything in. This is accessed hy his pockets or behind his back if no one is looking. Something about super positions perhaps? Who knows.

Being a Rabbit/Hare he is able to dig himself underground in a flash and travel underground almost like swiming, usually unearthing the grass above.

He has actual lucky feet too, though a bit hard to prove and has it's limit; you cant just rub his feet a lot and win the lottery...but feel free to try~

Another effect of his species change is a love for veggies. Carrots, celery, turnips, they went from just being alright to being downright delicious! Carrots of his favorite though.

He spends most of his time perfecting his toon-tricks, playing games, doing odd jobs or adding to his rabbit hole.
