Ixix is rather naive. Not in the "no one can do wrong" way, more the "seeing people as people" way.
Instead, Ixix sees people as food.
She started off as a baby harpy, with harpy parents and a harpy life. The parents fetching small kids for her to eat while she was young. And then her parents eventually died, and she grew tired of the nests... Ixix moved to Nexus City. SHe got a cheap apartment for rent and then ate the landlord instead of paying, so she can stay in it for a little while.
After that, she got a job-- Was a simple job at a nearby hotel, taking people's bags and coats and storing them. Her slight... "all other living creatures are food" philosophy does sometimes get in the way of her work, though. For example, often after taking people's bags, she eats the people too-- Technically, this does do a good job of storing ALL of that person's belongings, but digesting people has really hurt the return customers to the hotel. So much so that it's become a place for only tourists who don't know better, or danger seekers who are actually into the thrill of their attendant possibly devouring them...
Did you know birds like fish? For example, Ixix once saw
Fishcat and
Meraxin one day and decided to eat both of them. She caught them off guard, so both are permanently digested.
