Hofibai is a Värläträd, or translated, "World eating tree". The Carnivorous counterpart to Yggdrasil, Värläträd is a Collosal tree that as a seed was soaked in blood. At it grows the tree swiftly turns parasitic; it will suck up the nutrients of neighboring trees through their roots to make itself grow even larger until only it remains. If there are no trees nearby to drawn energy from however; it's roots will start to poke though the ground. Looking almost like blades of grass, it uses them to detect and lure in a host; when someone pulls or bites at the root, it quickly lashes out, draining their blood and DNA to create a Plant based clone, mimicing their form. From there there it can wander the world, seeking a more fertile environment to set its roots down.
An Eldritch tree, it earns its name upon reaching full growth; becoming so massive that its roots expand and extend into both heaven and hell, feasting on the life force of those residing in both. Finally when no threats remain (or none that it can perceive), with a "sigh", it will release all the energy it had stored, back out into the planet. Where there was once none, nature will rapidly reclaims the planet, turning it beautiful (like in the background); it often lures out the remaining beings left in the world. They believe it to be safe, unaware the tree had taken over the world, and all the foilage they see is only an extension of its new body.
All will be peaceful. . . until it grows bored. Wanting a fresh start, it burrows its roots deep into the core of the planet; with a final Growth spurt, it digests the planet from the inside out, through which the planet collapses and crumbles into Space debris. The being reuniting with its true body, the roots wriggle and writhe through space like the tentacles of an octopus as it drifts through the universe for a new planet to conquer. The tree very rarely survives entry into the atmosphere, and upon hitting the ground it's sap bleeds out onto the ground around it. As it decomposes, the land becomes contaminated as a tiny handful of seeds burrow into the ground, starting the cycle anew

Murdering a Deer anthro for her DNA, as a Värläträd, her body is similar to a normal person's just plant version of it, and twice as tall at roughy 12 feet tall:
0. Her fur is delicate blades of grass
1. Her skin and bones are made of flexible soft bark and vines.
2. Her antlers are actually her branches.
3. Her feet and hands are her roots. Digging them into the ground allows her to directly draw nutrients from the ground.
4. Her saliva is sweet smelling nectar, her exhales blowing out this sweet scent to intoxicate "bugs" and lure them closer.
5. Her teeth are miniature tree stumps; like teeth though, it hurts immensely when they come to harm, and will avoid eating things that will harm her mouth in general.
6. Her blood is thick tree sap. It can be drained to make a sour syrup, or if left to set on her wounds the sap will rapidly heal where she was hurt.
7. Her spine is her stem, and a strong enough blow will make her bend over backwards, needing a long time to heal
8. Most of all, she also has a tree hole/belly button that unless you really look at her belly long enough most don't notice. She can make it stretch and expand at will, able to naval vore with it, trapping them inside before compacting the space within, crushing them into paste.
The hollow cavity can be used for other things too; it's her own personal closed space able to teleport people who crawl inside to other locations at random. She can actively transfer people to their homes this way if she has a piece of wood from a door in their house.

Unfortunately, her body isn't an utterly flawless imitation.
1. Her "eyes" are actually berries, and as such she can't make them blink, resulting in a thousand-yard stare whenever she looks at someone.
Hofibai is one of the four elite warriors among the villains, the third in command due to her ability to find and harvest resources for the others. Her Ultimate purpose is similar to Exor from SMRPG; a living gateway to the villains' Headquarters, and beyond she's also their medic.
Hofibai Huven is a Värläträd summoned by Nanashii to house the deadly sin of greed and enlighten the world to it. Insulted, at being called for such a menial task, Hofibai almost succedeed in wiping out the Eldritch pup herself.
Nanashii escaped her demise by sealing the massive tree in a pocket dimension; however, Hofibai escaped by condensing her power into the compact yet beautiful form of a Deer anthro. Wandering around onto the New planet,
only the remaining trio of Elite warriors talked her out of immediately setting her roots downs, and keep them company.
As the Envoy of Greed, Hofibai has no desire for priceless art, or a fancy house; what she craves: is "carbon", specifically Carbon dioxide and others' carbon footprints.
It's not enough her for to eat someone, she wants to CLAIM them; as World Eating tree, she harvests the very existence of worlds she visits. Through draining away even the carbon footprints of her prey, she asserts her power as an Eldritch being, wiping people out of existence and rewriting history to the point all timelines converge with her arborous jaws as the event horizon.
Her ultimate goal is become taller than the tallest, and larger than the largest, and grow the "fruits of knowledge" from her branches; however, she must learn all there is to know leeching that knowledge from the brains of countless civilizations.
Having the Taurus Zodiac fragments, Hofibai sometimes has conflicts with herself, but overall can keep the piece with her self as well as with the others.
Like any self respecting tree, she has the ability to see things from a grounded, practical and realistic perspective. With feet planted firmly in the ground, she has no issues staying on the same project for years, or until they are completed. What heroes often see as stubbornness can be interpreted as commitment, and their ability to complete tasks whatever it takes is uncanny.
Because of this she use to be an extreme hazard, having an intense desire to claim the lives of even her allies; however Rita_Sjach sharpened Hofibai's sin, able to think beyond her vices.When isolated from the rest of the villains, she often tends to stay near Celtic villages, loving the sweet smell of freshly baked bread, the songs of birds, and the feel of wind blowing through her hair. However children seem to spark a perverse maternal instinct in her. If she finds one alone, she'll often try to kidnap them; her greed seeing children as precious treasures to possess, holding them hostage in her "kindergarden".
She mainly focuses on passive powers, able to fight without much thought or effort. Her main power is the acceleration of growth.
Grass will grow beneath her hooves among other things, so she usually collects seeds, roots, bulbs, or anything that can be used to grow something once planted in a satchel she carries around strapped on her shoulders. In the other satchel she keeps various fungi. Summarizing her weapons of floral destruction, she keeps :
1. Daphne berries that can make people fall into comas if consumed in bulk.
2. Belladona berries that can cause blurred vision, hallucinations, and ultimately shut down the nervous system's ability to regulate breathing.
3. After she's chewed up a handful of oleander, her spit becomes poisonous able to cause eye inflammation and skin irritation.
4. The Angel trumpet is a powerful hallucinogen grown bigger than normal to fit the inside of the trumpet's bell (where the sound comes out), blowing into it releases the hallucinogenic pollen.
5. But the main flower she'll actively kill to get her hand on is the Autumn Crocus. It has an arsenic like poison which as for now there's NO ANTIDOTE.
. . . .As for mushrooms she'll keep many, mainly after a specific type; Cordyceps, she has one for just about every kind of mammal, bird, or reptile. Parasitic fungus that grow on and inside the body of other beings, starting with the brain; anthros describe it as hearing a voice in their head. Hofibai, one with nature, can control these voices, forcing them the victims to follow her commands. She has nothing to worry about since she's a plant herself.
Manipulation of Closed space/Manipulation of Distance
1. She can only enter/exit worlds through doors that lead to a closed space. For example, she can enter her own world by walking into a closet or a bathroom; once the door has closed, it is a closed space .
2. She can clear vasts distances using this dimensional gateway, opening a closet door in Washington and stepping into a pantry in New York.
3. If she fails to capture someone and they make it out into the wild. the house the person lived is a closed space, able to bar her prey from entering their home.
4. Also if someone's already within a closed space she can control the size of the close space and everything in it. Say someone is inside a house, she can compress the house until it's doll house size.
5.She can also create her own closed spaces using her vines. It doesn't have to be a specific shape, just so long as it has volume, can contain something within.
