A 3rd Year Student of Reihou Academy and the girlfriend of
Yamada_Taiki in River City Ransom/Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari. She warns Kunio and Riki of both the Hattori Twins and Yamada's plot. Hasebe is a fairly outgoing and cheerful individual, despite being associated with a school that's often classed as the antagonists by other (rivaling) schools. Hasebe is also Student Vice President of Reihou Academy, by this knowledge, the junior year schoolgirl feels that she must help others with their problems to maintain this image of both herself and what the school she represents. For this reason, Hasebe is often found doing various extracurricular things to help maintain the image of Reihou and, according to many, she's doing a rather fine job of it.
However, since the advent of Toudou being the Student President (Yamada having given this title to him sometime after he and Toudou became friends), Hasebe has grown slightly more wary of the events funded by the wealthy student. Many would say she doesn't exactly like the way Toudou uses his position and how he goes out of his way to 'humiliate' Kunio-kun but, she largely keeps this to herself to avoid conflict. Hasebe is rather academic and is often found reading or studying, for this reason, Hasebe is known for being rather intelligent and sharp witted. There are few things she actively dislikes (or at least, tells anyone she dislikes) but, several hints seem to point to her having an aversion to insects and 'jerks'.
Hasebe holds a fair amount of fighting prowess within her. While not having supernatural powers like Yamada, she is still a formidable opponent to lock horns with. Hasebe is, honestly, not entirely a fighter by nature but, if provoked into battle, she has been known to boast an unusually high amount of leg power for devastating kicks and foot work. It is said that she, Kunio, and Yamada used to attend the same school together before Kunio transferred to Nekketsu High.
