Its been 9 years now since May was a cute 10 year old trainer, and since then she has learned a few things...

She is still a trainer, and enjoys catching new Pokemon, but most notably she now does so primarily to help Professor Birch's research. Her goal to help her document all Hoenn based Pokemon for the professor's Pokedex like before, but also doing additional studying and researching to help it grow and develop. Recently she has been assigned to study the Pokemon hybrids referee to Anthros or Demi-Humans. Birch wants her to research them heavily to learn how they came about and their differences to normal people and Pokemon.

She is friendly and intelligent but can easily get distracted by things. Especially cute or expensive things~ She is caring and very fond of looking after Pokemon and Poke-demis/anthros and also of looking after people. Part of her job with Birch is caring for pokegirls to see how the develop

She very much still enjoys training pokemon, andn otably entering into competitions and pagents. She has competed pokemon in all categories, her most notable was winning the master-level cute-competition with a mudkip, using water-gun, growl and mud-slap, much to the crowd's joy.

May loves to ride her bike, travel and to study pokemon. She also lvoes to eat out and to shop when she has the time and money. Often after winning a battle or competition she loves to hit a local mall and to spend some of her victory cash. If you want to get on her good side, her her some nice clothes, gear or somethign sweet. She's a big fan of sweets, chocolate and candy. Other good gifts are books, particularly on pokemon, or fiction, and electronics. She likes anything portable she can take with her on her travels, like an Mp3 or hand-held console. She loves to play on her 3Ds in her downtime. Notably animal crossing and Mario. Showing her a pokemon game, notably pokemon Ruby/Sapphire or Emerald, or the animated series featuring her may cause the universe to explode.

May has been helping the proffessor with new pokeballs designed to work on demi-humans and pokegirls. Some of them come in some... unique... styles and abilities. She also heard rumours that team Galactic tried to invent balls to catch humans, but has never seen one.
