Long ago...

A great abyss threatened to swallow up the kingdom of Lordran...the veritable Abyss...damnable Abyss...from it came a primordial lord of dark would emerge. The one who had been called upon him was Knight Artorias and his faithful young wolf companion, Sif.

Sir Knight Artorias was one of the four Knights of Gwyn, the commanding knights of Lord Gwyn's army. Artorias had an unbendable will of steel, which both helped, and fed, his hatred for servants of the Dark, particularly the Darkwraiths of Kaathe.
Lord Gwyn bequeathed him with a custom-made ring, the Wolf Ring, to assist in his already unmatched ability to wield a greatsword.
When in New Londo, Artorias discovered the ability of abysswalking, earning him his title, Artorias the Abysswalker, and allowed him to enter The Abyss, the home of the Darkwraiths and the FourKings themselves. At some unspecified time in the past, when Oolacile was attacked by the Abyss, Artorias traveled to Oolacile to rescue Princess Dusk of Oolacile.

Artorias, deeply marked by the Abyss, and feeling his end was near, gave his shield which served as a magic aura, to protect his loyal battle-companion, a young Sif, from the Abyss. Later, he had become fully corrupted by the abyss. Some time after, an unknown hero , who traveled to the past, killed Artorias, releasing him from his wretched state.

This also preserved his honour, because none would ever known what really happened to Artorias; he was instead believed to have died while facing the Abyss, instead of being corrupted to fulfil the Abyss's goals and killed by an Undead. The hero continued on to kill the dark creatures of the Abyss, and saved Sif, who was being held captive and together they would slay the primordial lord of darkness and from there part ways.

Since then, Sif had grown and transformed from her original state and became, instead of a giant wolf, a wolf girl giant instead. She already knows of what befall Artorias yet still waits for the day her master would return. Those seeking to traverse the abyss, she will try to stop them and by no means is this out of any ill intent or primal instinct....

She simply does not want to see the same fate befall them as it did her master. And thus she guards a ring and gigantic sword she herself wields for the sole purpose of keeping to her master's final wishes and keeping the secret of the abyss safe...and to prevent anymore friends from dying...

In truth...she does not want to fight...but in order to save those she holds dear, she will defeat them before a worse fate can befall them.

And after that...

Katt had found her way into Sif's domain in search of food only to meet the big dog girl who fought with the kitty for a short time before promptly being dropped into the wolf girl's mouth and then swallowed up to be digested, giving Sif a nice meal for the evening~

Personality
Sif is generally a good-hearted soul, only seeking to better serve her long-departed master as well as carrying out his will to always endure and to strive to continue to hope. She is strangely curious about new things or things foreign to her land and will investigate them almost immediately. Feelings of romance escape her but it is something she would like to have.

She does not like to play with emotions or have hers played with... out of the fact she would never do anything intentionally harmful to anyone unless it was to free them from an inescapable fate. The fact
remains is that she is loyal, heartfelt, honest with her emotions (most of the time), and strives to always better herself.


Powers/Abilities
Sif only has the primal nature as a wolf and the heart to defend her friends as well as the sword skills inherited from her old master and no other outstanding abilities other than her strength and agility...and the determination and stalwart vigor to overcome.

Weaknesses
Sif is only mortal like all animals and can bleed and be poisoned as well as singed or zapped by spells. She is just like any other giant beast as she relies solely on heart to overcome odds.
