It all happened about a hundred some years ago when the population of...well...non-humans came to the collective decision that if they were bigger, faster, tougher, and just as smart as humans why were they at the top of the food chain? After all an explosive breeding rate just meant that there were more humans around, not that they were necessarily better. So they rose up and took over government, instituting policies and laws that re-affirmed humanity's position as prey at the bottom of the food chain where they belonged. At first a lot of people were worried about what this was going to lead to and there was a lot of protests but once the intial panic died down they were relieved to find out that..well..it wasn't so bad! Especially once the farms were formed.
The farms are almost exactly what they sound like, places formed to take in human livestock and raise them for a variety of purposes but all geared towards ultimately towards providing the demis and monster population with quality prey to ease the strain on the 'free range' human population during those first few years. Surely it wasn't voluntary though, right? A lot of people suspected that people were forced into the farm but that wasn't entirely the case..some did offer prisoners, debtors, and malcontents a place on a farm in place of a prison sentence or death setence but others such as GirlFarm Industries took a different approach by finding those people who secretly lusted after such a fate and offering them a chance to live out their fantasies of being human cattle. Once the livestock was acquired, these humane human farms engaged in a rigorous breeding program to create a small but stable herd of willing prey to manage.
These farms have gained some popularity as cruelty free industries and many a demi or monster would comment favorably about the quality of GirlFarm Industries' products or about their ongoing programs to find volunteers to join their herds, something that has definitely eased tensions about their business practices. They still treat their human livestock as exactly that, livestock, but there's a common understanding that the best farms only have livestock that want to be there or were raised on the farm to begin with. Human predation still happens of course, one just has to watch pro-human news feeds or the festivities of towns like Portly to hear about it, but it can be considered bad form in some places for predators to be blatantly obvious about their eating habits when there's a ready alternative that can be called for like take-out but is vastly more filling..if a bit more expensive.
One of the most important facts about the farms that many people arent' aware of is that no two farms are identical in their approach and it is worth looking into before deciding to order a meaty prey from a given farm or if one wants to volunteer to join the herd. As one might imagine from the name 'GirlFarm Industries', GFI deals exclusively in female livestock and this particular farm handles two herds one of heifers and one of sows. Any male livestock they come into possession of aren't disposed of, that'd be inhumane and wasteful, but rather traded to a similar 'cruelty free' minded farm that is better equipped to handle them. Largely self-sufficient, this particular GirlFarm doesn't just manage its two herds but also an expanse of farmland that is used to provide food to the livestock as well as bolster profits and is mostly run by a staff of demis and monsters with a small group of human female employees interested in volunteering but wanting to see what farm life is like before committing.
Heifers
Heifers have a harder lot in life than the sow herd, with the burden of producing milk placed on them with all the expectations that come with that as well as being responsible for the majority of breeding that occurs on the farm. Women who volunteer for to join the herds are evaluated and most are placed in the heifer herd, at least temporarily, to judge if they are capable of handling the burden of hormone boosted milk production and a strict breeding schedule that being a heifer requires. If so then those proud heifers earn themselves a cattle tag, a cow-print bikini uniform, and can join the herd right away~! Despite the expectations causing some stress, heifers live a relatively easy life with lots of pasture time, frequent massages to ensure they stay relaxed, and a reserved space on the milking rack when its their turn to be driven mad with lust while being milked and bred. As a third generation herd, this GFI farm has a lot of docile and happy girl cows and hopes to encourage such behavior in the future while adding in fresh faces and eagerness for the heifer life to have a nice and happy herd with female calves kept as part of the herd while male calves are sent to a trusted business partner.. So long as a heifer's milk production holds that is. Keeping a happy heifer is not a cheap thing after all and it is up to the heifer to exceed the cost of keeping her, if she can't manage it then its time for drastic measures. In most cases its an open auction to any predator drooling at the thought of getting their lips around one of this heavy-uddered, plump, and milky cows and these auctions command pretty hefty prices from the attendees! Less often a heifer might be moved to the sow herd but this is only for particularly valuable heifers considering the switch in hormones can be pretty harsh and a volunteer heifer probably didn't sign up to be a sow~!
Sows
The sow herd is the unsung heroes of this particular GFI farm, because they have a substantial list of hungry customers to please and a high bar of quality to cross with the succulent meat-girls that they offer to satisfy those customers. When a volunteer is evaluated to judge which type of livestock they will become the choices come down to 'heifer' or 'sow' and really just what GFI thinks the volunteer is more suited for. Producing milk? Off to the heifer herd! Getting fattened up specifically to become a meal? Off to become a sow! A cute pig-themed bikini, ear tag, and tattooed barcode waits in their future.. And just like the heifers, sows have some qualifications of their own to meet. Such as eating a certain poundage of hormone enriched food per day, a healthy supply of piglets that the sows are allowed to rear themselves, and a degree of docileness that ensures they won't give their eventual predator any serious problems. The stalls that the sows rest in are designed to promote their fattening up, keeping them laying on their sides so accidental exercise doesn't occur since GFI doesn't want to trouble their sows with the fact they might accidentally be sabotaging their growth. Once a sow's belly is firmly squished up against the opposite wall of her laying stall and she's weaned any piglet she might currently have, the girl is marked for sale and will soon be shipped off to meet their happy predator and their end in a heavy gut! GFI sows are well regarded by the predator community for the amount of meat that they provide, the ease of eating them, and for just how tasty they can be! Piglets, unlike the calves, stay with the rest of the herd until they're old enough to earn their own ear tag and barcode, at which point they begin their own stuffing and breeding in a stall of their own. Its a simple, horny life for the sows but GFI employees have never heard a complaint~!

GirlFarm is, as detailed above, a place where someone can find human livestock for breeding, eating, or milking from people who have the means to afford their goods. This is a place where I can list any heifers or sows currently ordered by someone and what their eventual fate is as well as listing any volunteers who decide the farm life is for them! It is worth noting however that only pure-breed human women will be accepted as members of the herd or be hired on as an employee, no exceptions. Guys can get a temporary contract on occasion for specific tasks but don't expect long-term employment or to become part of the herd.
Heifers
-Tori: 5'8", 170 pounds, slightly pudgy. Wavy black hair, hazel eyes. Currently C-cup chest. Processed in private and shipped to experimental 'hands on' farm location while the heifer's parents were paid her worth and given a stake in all profits she produces.
Sows
Employees
Amani_Suzuki is employed on the GFI farm as an intern caretaker but her superiors have high hopes for her! So far she only handles basic duties with the livestock but they are important. GFI has high hopes for Amani's ascension through the company ranks.
Cheezie has signed on with GFI farms as one of their smaller, offshoot farms as part of GFI's bid to bring local farmers under their umbrella for everyon's benefit. More a passionate hobbiest, GFI nonetheless has high hopes for Ms. Berger's burgeoning herd!
Volunteers
Mia_Lee has entered into the 'Young Farmers' program with her university where in her school is billed the cost of the livestock that Mia wishes to study, so long as GFI gets a copy of her complete test results. GFI, always happy to aid young minds hoping to aid agriculture~!
