An enigma even to hirself, there is very little Duet knows of hirself. Taken to be an apprentice of the arcane, Duet used to learn under a harsh enchantress. However, upon losing interest in hir, Duet found hirself bound and immobilized, being used for the enchantress' sinister purposes, for what reasons were beyond hir. However, as all good things must come to an end, so too must all misfortunes, as shi was soon rescued and set free of hir confinement, released into the world with few friends and fewer memories.

Physiology:

Duet's form is almost tauric in nature, hir upper body displaying 2 pairs of arms, all four capable of moving independently, while hir lower half looks much like a spider's abdomen, 2 pairs of spider-like legs extending from the sides, supporting hir form well. Near the end of hir abdomen, shi is also equipped with a set of spinnerets, and shi is capable of spinning hir silk to both capture prey, as well as weave very fine fabrics. Along the underside of hir abdomen, there lay a red hourglass, a sign of danger well-known in the animal kingdom.

Duet is in fact a herm, and bears both sets of genitalia, though shi strives to hide hir extra features.

Due to hir unique body structure, Duet is more likely to wear a woven loincloth than any conventional clothing, although shi does enjoy walking about in a dress, as long as it fits hir form.

(Duet has a more in-depth backstory, but I've decided to withhold some of the information to come out in RPs. However, as shi interacts more with people, I will add more information to hir bio. Also, this character can be played with a more human two-legged look and/or female upon request. Can also portray other herms upon request.)
