Duchess_Ewynn

"Well? Entertain me."

Profile seems to be done for the most part!

I haz a Cbawkz too o-o

Meet the Elf! Probably you may not notice yet but she indeed is one! A being of great stature too, a high counsel member to boot. She knows magic? Like hell she knows magic! Put away your puny 'Magic Missile' spells and bring on a Nuke! Well, that's just something she can manage as a regular Wizard would manage a magic missile. No, she will not attack the darkness, though she will defend herself and probably shun away the mongrels with a nice gale force wind. Yes, that sounds just about right.

How did she get to the park? You know, she knows someone from here. Is actually their mother, of who? Kedia Yup, she's heard of the antics her daughter has gotten into and wishes to see for herself just what a this 'park' holds alongside how the daughter of one of the high counsel continues to be subjected to things such as being used as a condom! Honestly, the very thought of it infuriates the woman! Thus she shall see to it that her daughter is whipped back into shape as a good high-elf should!

Though before all that heavy detail ect, here's the physical stats. What's not stated should be obvious from the picture:

Height: 6' 2" (182cm) "Well, obviously I'm above most for good reason."
Weight: 65Kg (143.30lb) "I try to stay fit, albeit, stuck behind a desk is not quiet the athletic thing."
Age: 2-- "You may strive away from that topic, thank you."
Bus-: "Honestly, you nosy, nosy people~" She burnt that part off, seriously >.>

Alternatively, there's a high-school/college version of her for those who wish to play using the school setting o.o

Alright now time for the full backstory, it's not essential to read and I have my doubts but what the hell? It's useful info for those that enjoy reading backgrounds and the like:

Setting:

Deep within a land untainted by humans, orcs, dwarfs and other races lay forests teeming with one race in particular. Elves. Creatures of grace, beauty and intellect. Highly considering themselves to be above their human counterparts, despite how close they may seem physically they typically enjoy distancing themselves from them. Though they do not live in total isolation, decades went by and human expansion eventually became a concern, thus the select few that would tolerate mixing with the others were sent out as representatives to tell them to leave their land, that of which had been rightfully claimed by them the centuries past.

Sure there were times when the shining steel was needed to allow the others to know that opposing them would result in the needless bloodshed of many, though they generally continued to live in peace. Having their own hierarchic system and way of life, sure racial relations between each of their own kind was typically a bit shaky, mostly due to the attitudes of one thinking they are better than the other, though this lead to only small feuds and typically good competition. Knowing that going too far would result in harsh punishment from the regulators of the law.

Yes, due to how slow the growth of the Elven populace was in comparison to most others, they had issued tight regulations upon the use of violence, under the watchful eye of the people who also saw the threat willingly helped keep the people under control. The ones who decide upon what laws there are, are the Counsel. A small panel of Elves, a couple of each race (Nightelf, Bloodelf ect ect you get the picture) that of which would be voted into it or have it passed down to the previous person in line, (The latter being the most common.) as it is seen as a disappointment for the family line not to continue the upkeep of such a position.

The forest, aptly named Ol'Slevah and the main city with the name to match is where most of this happens.

Being the capitol, albeit a slightly well hidden one, once you consider that those who do not know of it would have hundreds of thousands of acres of forest to go through to reach it, is home to the prestigious lot of all Elven folk. Despite the fact that they are supposed to all get along, it is also due to another reason, while no hate is shared between them, they try to make one seem better than the other, mostly for the sake of competition to try and not only produce well-trained and talented students, albeit also to see where the individual faults are to expose and train them where they fall. Quite the system really!

Onto the Erald family:

Albeit, each generation tends to have a few hiccups, sadly this family was the one subjected to them. It was to happen to the people of the Erald family, Ewynn Vul'yun Carlass, was a woman who attended the Slevah Diamond Academy, one that of which only those of nobility were trained in came in contact with Fath'ren Erald during the last year. Despite how hectic it was, they did take an interest in each other, it was the 'Friendly rivalry' between a blood Elf and high Elf that was the start of all of this.

Eventually as time passed, so did their classes and eventually they were not together, albeit their relationship was far from being forsaken. Despite being in different classes, they still made time to meet just to show off to one another to see which could finally, really and truly be the best of the two! As they graduated though, they were still at an impasse, now meeting would be harder than before. Ewynn was being prepped for taking a seat in the counsel, as that was her duty as she was told so from the times she was young. Albeit, that did not really stop this determined mind from doing the duties required. With the book fresh in her mind, it was easy for her to remember the protocols on what was required on the subjects that were brought up.

A bit deeper onto the history and duties of the Counsel
The panel was actually an entirely different entity from the political members that ruled and governed the area, the counsel were on an entirely different level for the most part. What they did was research into the Magical arts for the most part, acting as the head of the R&D section of it, though obviously, anything with such reputation could not be left pure and pristine without the hands of politics and military alike. Thus they were frequently spending the resources in a ratio such as this, at least, based upon her estimates: 60% for military use, 30% for experimental development and 10% for general use of the populace and the like. This, obviously, did not agree with her views on how they should be acting, considering the general isolation of the area, the defenses were naturally in place for any possible invasion that may take place, thus she shifted her focus entirely into the latter two parts, despite what others would say to try and move her elsewhere or into another field.

Thankfully being part of a collective, just one person wishing to focus on two out of three areas seemed acceptable, though others were irked by how her talent was wasted for the most part. Though, while the counsel was mainly a R&D department for magic, it was also typically involved in Political matters as an advisory, so as time went by, it ended up being quite muddled and strung up with the one thing most, if not all members disliked, politics. Though thankfully, it gave them extra funding by some thankful blokes who needed the words of wisdom from their end, which helped excel and develop the spells with better components and in the process, toss in more cash in everyone's pocket.

Today, she acts with fellow seven members in the following: "Driving of innovative and new spells involving deep and complex Magik Arithmetics" In other words, make spells equivalent of those in "High-Level" section, theoretically.

"Using Qualitative analysis to produce and procure results from generally approved spells by the counsel as marked as 'Safe' while leading to minimal user harm in worst case"
After sharing the idea with the others, they'd say if it's practical or not and if so, they'd see if it can be done with little harm done to the user. After all, no one wants a super-powerful spell that requires a five minute speech of 10-page equation to be written down only to have your legs turn inwards for saying a wrong word and you spleen to emit a virus that makes your heart explode...well, not that it ever happened to a man named "Svier la'Phaldom" after attempting to defect with the work and stuttered a word to be rid of the people chasing after him, nope. It's all good!

"Study, decryption and translation of pre-Svoltik era texts for proper, if any, applicable modern day use."
Simply put, translating the old texts to words understandable for use under the 'Ancient' category.

Those are her duties for the most

Back to the Erald's
Fa'thren was off to also fill a position he wanted to for time long as he had remembered, to try and sort out the tension rattling between the Elves and other races, thus taking the time seriously, one would wonder just how they managed to meet again, albeit decades later. Their hearts grew lonely with the lack of activity they once had, thus during their meeting, he had a surprise for her.

As they were about to part ways once again, he stated, "Eywnn, I have one final request." obviously in their native tongue, his face was actually hard, albeit merely to cover the mounting surprise within, the woman on the other hand, merely looked over her shoulder seeing him come right next to her, she did not change her position mind you, though something was slipped onto her ring finger, looking down at it she saw the golden glint and a smile was presented to him, under the glowing moon of the city, a pair finally were together after so many long years spent trying to best one another.

"It had been too long from when we last met, like this, such a thing would not be a worry. I have gained your parents blessing and mine were also in approval of this, thus you are the only one that needs to finally ans-" he was cut off, the stone face was gone and replaced under the moonlight with surprise as she did something that was quite unexpected, she was the one to kiss him! Such was her reply to his request, for the first time in a number of decades, she let out a smile that shone from her heart.

Parenthood, a bumpy ride indeed:

By then, Ewynn had taken her mother's seat on the panel for a number of years, getting to know of the other Elves while Fa'thren frequented outside the city for time when needed. The oddity was something that was rare in the Human world, more so for Elves. She had twins! Naming them Kedian and Kedia (the former much to the boy's chagrin later on in life) as she had to juggle about being a mother and the position of being a member of the counsel! Normally leaving the kids to go to school via being escorted by the maids, from time to time (at least twice a week) she would manage to spend the day off, typically teaching Kedian that trying to sneak around and misplace things was not a good idea, hassling the maids and the like included. Sadly, Kedia seemed to pick up from him from time to time but she seemed like the better prospect of the two. Teaching them with a cold attitude and at times, the help of her Birch-tree staff during the times when some of the worse of the punishments were needed.

Eventually growing up though, it seemed like the family was slowly parting, Fa'thren seemed to be gone for longer, Ewynn was busy as a member but eventually a series of events or a single piece of resolve not only lead to one of her offspring from leaving and not being seen for decades gone by, albeit the other had also been labeled as a thief with the bounty on his head while the other one was just...gone! Albeit she just thought that it was a school related problem, albeit a few days later when she was called up while at work with the school stating that she had not been attending clases.

Believing that she would eventually come back on her own, she was slowly getting worried as days went by, even Fa'thren came back to try and see what was wrong only to see his wife in tears and quite the mess as she had been writing off letters to search for the missing daughter! All sorts of images such as her being taken by Humans, Dwarfs, even Trolls and Orcs popped into mind a couple of times.

Eventually she talked with him, Fa'thren and together they managed to agree with the counsel to let Ewynn to locate the missing lamb, obviously paperwork was still given to her, a small bit of magic acted as a GPS so they could teleport the paperwork when needs be to her and keeping her up to date on matters at hand.

Abilities and spells: (Note, you can skim over this section but they are here for the more serious RP's. If you wish to do something cannon, please look at them just to get a general idea as to what she is capable of and the like.)

Passive: These traits come to her naturally, with learning things many times over, it has been practically integrated into her mind to be able to do certain things or may be natural to those of her race:

Spontaneous casting: Certain spells are easy enough for her to manage right on the dot, allowing her to use them with ease. These are marked with an (S) near the name.

Magic sight: The name may be misleading, though what it means is that essentially, behind any magic she sees a formula within it. Example, if a spell used spiritual energy she'd see the equation for the energy being used (when made visible) ect ect. This allows her to conjure a potential dispelling or counter by introducing the negative towards it. Obviously the more complex it is, the harder it'll be though she'd had a good long time to train herself against such things. "Once Bitten, twice negated~" or at least she hopes to get it right on the second time >.>

Night Vision: Being an Elf, her eyes are easily able to see in the dark for 60 feet as if it was daytime, this comes naturally so at times she may not really notice if there isn't a single light on!

Heightened Dexterity: She's quite the nimble one, much like her brethren, allowing her to contort into odd positions with little strain and even use her toes to write! Though this is a little secret of hers that she does only when no one is around and she's feeling lazy to drink her tea in peace while having to write down something.

Sensitive hearing: Those ears aren't exactly long for nothing ya know? A slight rustling will get those ears twitching lightly so you better not shout too loud, least you wish to be slapped, have scorn tossed at or noticed if you're trying to sneak up on her.

Lingual understanding: Having spent centuries studying, she's picked up on a number of languages, aside from 'Common' English and Elf, there is also Draconian that she is also trained in, a bit rusty on Abyssal if she needs to speak to those of otherworldly origin.

----Active abilities---

Basic spells (For her at least):

(SC) Minor Combustion: A flick of her fingers and a small amount of will can cause a specific area to instantly explode, it's nothing much. Picture it like being shot by a mid-caliber assault rifle.

(SC) Manawire: Think of the strings attached to a puppet, she can do something like that upon an object or person. Their strength at the greatest can toss something the size of a family car, at least, something like a mug. Albeit, she can administer any element to each of the strings individually.

(SC) Bolt: A small crackle of electricity to let the troublesome ones know they are irritating her. Think of it as a mini-tazer. Mild muscle spasming may occur upon regular human targets.

(SC) Reflection: She can make a mirror appear from nothing! Well, air really, condensing the air moisture to make a watery-mirror for herself. Keeping up appearances is a must after all!

(SC) Shrink/Grow: She can cause a target of her choice to shrink or grow to half or double her height with a flick!

Mid level spells:

Curse: A quick incantation can lead to a target being cursed! The effects can vary but it's like a temporary bout of sickness, confusion, possible loss of body control. Really, the effects vary far and wide, just nothing instantly fatal though some can be close to it!

(SC) Diamond stalagmite: As the name implies, she can make a stalagmite out of diamond, nothing large, about the size of a needle, albeit that doesn't mean that they are not deadly! Their small size means they would be hard to avoid at the cost of needing accuracy.

Elemental Armour: In a sticky situation? Up against a foe with a blade and speed that is hard to go up against? Well, to even things out (or just give her greater leverage) she can create a featherweight set of armor to help reduce the impact of attacks, well, depending on what there is covering her!

Wind: Reduced the impact damage, though assures skin contact with the harder blows.

Ice: Takes most of the blow, though cracks and shatters eventually

Electricity: Provides no protection, though becomes an extension of her offensive capabilities by making electric based magic all the easier to use, aside from giving melee opponents quite the shock if they use any metal alloy based weapon.

Liqui-freeze: Freezing some of the water on a specific place internally, she can create spikes to shred one from inside-out~

Cancel: A mid-level cancellation of positive effects one would have casted upon themselves, albeit if natural functions allow for certain effects to come into play, they would perhaps be lessened at best.

(SC) Half Duplex: An illusion of something of her choice appears! Albeit is a dirty trick really to gain the attention of her opponent momentarily. That or just to entertain herself. Though coming in contact with another being, even a 'bump' would lead it to vanishing on the spot.

Spinal Stone: The body of any vertebrate requires a spine that of which has liquid surrounding the spine. That same liquid is turned solid promptly crushing the disks under the weight thus rendering the target immobile in a painful manner~ Though this is thanks to none other than the Tridemon!

High-end spells: By default these take a bit of time to cast, accommodated with movements and a little bit of a light show most of the time. If you see something like this, you're bound to know that she's up to something nasty or just simply powerful.

Fragmenter: A shockwave that leaves the body intact, 'cept for the bones which as subjected to a pulse that would resonate with them and shatter them. Can be adjusted to effect organs or even specific targets.

Neurological shock: Think tazers were bad? Wait 'till you receive a shock that can disable your motor functions! (Other words an electric blast that can leave you unable to move, entirely~ hopefully there won't be any cardiac arrest and the burns aren't too bad >.>

Nature's dispute: Being the Elf that she is, she's on good terms with the earth. So a tidbit of blood in exchange for some control of the surroundings sounded like a good idea in the past, why not now? You're probably getting the idea of where this is going.

HEHF: Stands for Hyper Ebola Hemorrhage Fever, much like Ebola Hemorrhage Fever except that it works in a much quicker method while also being modified to stay contained within the recipient of the curse.

Firestream: Coming into contact with a wound, be it a scar or a fresh open one, she could choose to mutter a minor incantation that of which would inject a bit of her mana into the person, unto which, she can go along with the full incantation to allow said mana to burn the sugars in the bloodstream, the rest is self explanatory really.

High Deflection: For the times when things are getting serious, she'd create two 'plates' (Like, dish plates but made out of energy) that can reflect any attacks that hit them, ranged ones will be flung back at the owner while a hit can just be bounced off or possibly if hard enough, can be reflect with enough force to break their own arm! Albeit they will shatter if/when overused!

Soul hand: Turning her hands into ethereal items, she can harm someone's very essence! Bypassing armor and other such physical defenses, though leaves her rather defenseless too!

Ancient-Level spells: Yes, due to her status she had been allowed to access tombs for the old magic sought by many. Spoken in Draconic or Abyssal tongue, they are ones that she refrains from using, not just to keep her profile to a certain level, but also due to restrictions placed upon her, she can only use them when the time calls for them, be it emergency moments and the like.

Full Duplex: Much like Half-Duplex the difference being that her copies are not just sentient and in depended of her thoughts though just as physically strong (Not poofing with a bump) and have 'Mid level' magical abilities!

Dark matter: A very high energy-unstable set of particles can be used to flick mini 'bomb' in a way at her opponent. The only magic is in the collecting and directing of them, the damaging effects though are totally physical and just as varying as sickness are! It could be anything from something light as a scratch to something as forceful as heaven's gates being unleashed! Though chances of either one are quite small though they're just examples of how strong it can be!

Maelstrom: Having a bad day? Well it wouldn't be much better if a hellish storm came your way, right at you now would it? Thunder, lighting, high winds that can flick small stones at high speeds, possibly resulting in punctures as the bullet like pebbles shoot off and the general area becomes quite dangerous!

Water manipulation: She doesn't do much with water based things, though she could create a globe of water (Drawn from the air it's self or any nearby water source) and potentially drown someone in it! If they try to drink it, she'll just control it from within, leading to some possibly...disastrous effects considering how the body is generally made up of about 75% of the stuff.

Acid bath: Think of the above, 'cept with a container of Sulphuric acid involved. A good portion of it still being pretty much water, there is just a little extra added onto it~

Super-cancel: A high-class spell to attempt to not only remove any positive effects one has granted upon themselves, though to disrupt or potentially even damage the organs or parts that offer magical resistance!

Terranova: A spell of two combined words, Terra (Earth) Nova, well, you can guess that last bit. A large AoE (Area of Effect) as the ground is heated up to a blaze and the fire from that is used to damage the opponent, controlling the expanding blaze and even 'scoop' up all the flames to blast it off to her opponent! Leaving the surrounding area withering away in ashes for the most part.

Soul Fracture: A single string that if it touches the intended target, she would be like a doctor with a patient ready to dissect, she rarely does it and wouldn't admit to using it. Though there have been times when curiosity got to her and she has toyed with a few victims, obviously eventually patching it up and returning it to nature least she wished for it to do something just as horrible to her! She would not destroy it, just psychologically destroy them and leave them be afterwards! After all, having your soul toyed with while still inside you is usually never a fun thing to be a victim of.

Ooc notes:
Player is not Kedia, a friend who thought and agreed with Kedia that this would be awesome to do. Also please note, no sex with this character. She's married and despite her grumblings towards her partner, she is still quite loyal to him!

She's new here so yeah, she's gonna have to learn what goes on here!

Oh also, please just keep a couple of things in mind:
For RP's I enjoy good post length, lines are quite the odd way of putting it, though let's just say that if you can't spend at least 5 minutes writing a reply, only close friends would be allowed to pass by this. (I guess it would be equivalent to about 4-ish lines or so I guess. Depending on screen resolution ect ect that's why I dislike using that term.)

Far as vore goes, there've been a couple of hints that she's new. Well here's the fact, she's prey for now :o why? How? Well, simple. She has absolutely no idea what goes on here. Though keep in mind, she isn't one to go down without a fight, a hellish one at that. So if you want to do anything more than just speak with her, then be armed with a good strategy.

IC whispers, well this is something I'm quite picky about. To start them off right off the bat? You're trying to step on broken glass here, for the most part, it'll come off on the wrong end, though it may just work if you've read through the profile! Also depends on the mood, albeit I enjoy OOC whispers first a slight...fine, a great deal more.

Oh also, Icy can become any one of the elements that the Duchess can control (Typically a 1 d 5 is rolled for Ice, water, air (smoke), fire, earth) and would basically look like a stickfigure, micro unless otherwise stated! Though she does have a human form that takes traits from prior experiences, albeit, if digested she reverts to the default look that varies between the elements.

1) She now has defaulted Platinum blond hair from her meeting with Jules_von_Brandt this was due to...well, being in a smoke-form and making her climax resulted as such!

2) Thanks to some time with Vixie and a few commands from the Ewynn, not only gained lightly tanned skin but also, after merging and absorbing her, she has contrasting fox ears and tail!

Please keep in mind, Icy's 'evolutions' and the Duchess's actual ways of acting are two rather separate things. Please keep such in mind.

Event log:

21/2/2011: She enters the park :O though on a more serious note, she met up with her daughter after quite some time! Informed her of what her actions have brought upon her and is trying to fix it or at least help her so she isn't to feel the full wrath of the counsel upon her. Also met and took interest in Kessima, being a good friend of her daughter, she shall proceed to try and find out more about her.

26/06/2011: Icy had quite the time with Jules_von_Brandt! Taking a human form for the first time and well, doing certain things to the fire girl~ mind you, she was air back then so despite the name, she couldn't melt at least >_>

26/06/2011: Ewynn found herself with DeadlyAddiction (A.K.A: Amora) and patched up a few missing pieces of her! After hearing the girl's singing, she seems to be set to dragging her to the city of the Elfs and allowing her mystic voice to be heard by all! (Still being played out actually!)

28/06/2011: It seems that Lucy_Brighton struck Ewynn on a good day! Conversing with a Human girl?! Preposterous indeed! Yet it seems like the Duchess is quite set on learning about modern day life of people and Lucy seems to be quite the encyclopedia of such information.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rp Ideas~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is how things work here: Well, she's new to this place thus needs someone to show her what goes on around here! - Short term, Grab'n Gulp.
Backstory! The search.: A mother would require time and patience to find her daughter, thus she would find scouts and travel with guides to eventually find the location where her daughter is to be found! - Potential Long-term RP here, depends on how well informed your guide is of the land, depending on how far this develops, it can be played more than once!
A student? Never!: The woman may end up in a situation where she is to take an apprentice! Albeit at quite the cost because to take time in her busy schedule would require one to be of high rank as well. -Long term RP.
-More to come, any suggestions are welcomed!-
