Doru

Doru is a Dorumon of average height. Nothing looks particularly unique about him, until you get too close to his muzzle.

He's bound to eat anything that gets too close to his muzzle, be it a hand or an apple but despite this character flaw he's actually quite nice. He owns a cozy little tavern simply titled "Garuru Tavern" Named after a friend who perished in the line of duty.

While it used to be a well kept secret, circumstances occurred leading him to reveal his true identity to most of the digital world as the leader of the royal knights Alphamon. But that has long since passed. His powers as a mega have diminished so without the aid of a tamer he can no longer digivolve to his former glory. The most he can manage without a tamer is to digivolve into a Dorugamon.


Regardless, he enjoys his life nowadays, the simple life of a civilian and being able to explore the world through the eyes of a commoner rather than the eyes of nobility. So pop into his tavern and say hello! He might give you a great discount!


Doru's abilities are not physical, and by himself in base form he is pretty average. His ability to manipulate light energy is unique though. Unlike others who can wield the light as a weapon, his is a defensive mechanism. creating a veil of armor around his body. Other than that he has the standard Dorumon attacks.

With the help of a tamer with either a digivice or Xros loader, he can perform Jogress with other digimon, combining his X antibody with their form and creating a more powerful version of themselves.

At one point, during Doru's daily routine in the Garuru tavern he came across a digi-egg that he'd never seen up until then. He didn't know if someone left it there on purpose or they forgot about it but he took it into the tavern...It eventually hatched and became his adopted son Gabu
